Do not install the appliance in a confined space, such as a
bookcase or built-in cabinet.
Do not expose the batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) to
excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like for a long time.
Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.
In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in
contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the
affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical
advice.
Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use.

After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge
and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain

Disposal of waste batteries and electrical

This symbol on the product, the battery or on the
packaging indicates that the product and the
battery shall not be treated as household waste.

Precautions
On BLUETOOTH communications
• BLUETOOTH wireless technology operates within a range of
about 10 m. Maximum communication range may vary
depending on obstacles (human body, metal, wall, etc.) or
electromagnetic environment.
• The aerial is built into the unit as illustrated in the dotted line
(Fig. ). The sensitivity of the BLUETOOTH communications will
improve by turning the direction of the built-in aerial to the
connected BLUETOOTH device. When obstacles are between the
aerial of the connected device and the built-in aerial of this unit,
noise or audio dropout may occur, or communications may be
disabled.
• BLUETOOTH communications may be disabled, or noise or audio
dropout may occur under the following conditions.
– There is a human body between the unit and the BLUETOOTH
device.
This situation may be improved by placing the BLUETOOTH
device facing the aerial of the unit.
– There is an obstacle, such as metal or wall, between the unit
and the BLUETOOTH device.
– A device using 2.4GHz frequency, such as a Wi-Fi device,
cordless telephone, or microwave oven, is in use near this unit.
• Because BLUETOOTH devices and Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n) use the
same frequency (2.4 GHz), microwave interference may occur
resulting in noise or audio dropout or communications being
disabled if this unit is used near a Wi-Fi device. In such a case,
perform the following.
– Use this unit at least 10m away from the Wi-Fi device.
– If this unit is used within 10m of a Wi-Fi device, turn off the
Wi-Fi device.
– Install this unit and the BLUETOOTH device as near to each
other as possible.
• Microwaves emitting from a BLUETOOTH device may affect the
operation of electronic medical devices. Turn off this unit and
other BLUETOOTH devices in the following locations, as it may
cause an accident:
– where inflammable gas is present, in a hospital, or a petrol
station
– near automatic doors or a fire alarm.
• When you use the unit on an airplane, follow the instructions of
cabin attendants or ask the airline you fly with about conditions
for using the unit.
If you do not use the supplied headphone cable, radio waves may
affect instruments, causing risk of accident due to malfunction.
Be sure that you use the supplied headphone cable on an airplane.
• Due to the characteristic of the wireless technology, the sound
played on this unit is delayed from the sound and music played
on the sending device. Therefore, the image and sound may be
misaligned when viewing a movie or playing a game.
• This unit supports security capabilities that comply with the
BLUETOOTH standard to provide a secure connection when the
BLUETOOTH wireless technology is used, but security may not be
enough depending on the setting. Be careful when
communicating using BLUETOOTH wireless technology.
• We do not take any responsibility for the leakage of information
during BLUETOOTH communications.
• Connection with all BLUETOOTH devices cannot be guaranteed.
– A device featuring BLUETOOTH function is required to conform
to the BLUETOOTH standard specified by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
and be authenticated.
– Even if the connected device conforms to the above
mentioned BLUETOOTH standard, some devices may not be
connected or work correctly, depending on the features or
specifications of the device.
– While talking on the phone hands free, noise may occur,
depending on the device or communication environment.
• Depending on the device to be connected, it may require some
time to start communications.
If sound skips frequently during playback
• The situation may be improved by setting the sound quality mode
to “priority on stable connection.” For details, refer to the Help
Guide.
• The situation may be improved by changing the wireless
playback quality settings or fixing the wireless playback mode to
SBC on the transmitting device. For details, refer to the operating
instructions supplied with the transmitting device.
• If you are using a smartphone, the situation may be improved by
shutting down unnecessary applications or rebooting the
smartphone.
On the use of calling apps for smartphones and computers
• This unit supports normal incoming calls only. Calling apps for
smartphones and computers are not supported.
On charging the unit
• This unit can be charged using USB only.
• This unit cannot be turned on, nor can the BLUETOOTH and noise
cancelling functions be used, during charging.
• You can use the unit by connecting the supplied headphone
cable, even while charging the unit.
• If you do not use the unit for a long time, the rechargeable
battery may not be able to keep sufficient charge. The battery
will be able to keep a charge properly after repeatedly
discharging and charging several times.
• If you store the unit for a long time, charge the battery once
every half year to prevent over-discharge.
• If the length of time you can use the unit became extremely short,
the rechargeable battery should be replaced with a new one.
Please contact your nearest Sony dealer for a battery replacement.
Note on static electricity
• Static electricity accumulated in the body may cause mild
tingling in your ears. To minimise the effect, wear clothes made
from natural materials.
If the unit does not operate properly
• Reset the unit (Fig. ).
Press the and NC/AMBIENT buttons simultaneously while
charging. The unit will be reset. Pairing information is not
deleted.
• If the problem persists even after the resetting operation above,
initialize the unit as follows.
Disconnect the micro-USB cable from the micro-USB port, turn
off the unit, then hold down the and NC/AMBIENT buttons
simultaneously for more than 7 seconds. The indicator (blue)
flashes 4times, and the unit is reset to the factory settings. All
pairing information is deleted.
• After the unit is initialized, it may not connect to your iPhone or
computer. In this case, delete the pairing information of the unit
from the iPhone or computer, and then pair them again.
What is noise cancelling?
• The noise cancelling circuit actually senses outside noise with
built-in microphones and sends an equal-but-opposite
cancelling signal to the unit.
– The noise cancelling effect may not be pronounced in a very
quiet environment, or some noise may be heard.
– Depending on how you wear the unit, the noise cancelling
effect may vary or a beeping sound (howling) may occur. In
these cases, take off the unit and put it on again.
– The noise cancelling function works for noise in the low
frequency band primarily. Although noise is reduced, it is not
canceled completely.
– When you use the unit in a train or a car, noise may occur
depending on street conditions.
– Mobile phones may cause interference and noise. Should this
occur, locate the unit further away from the mobile phone.
– Do not cover the microphones of the unit ( ) with your hands.
The noise cancelling function or the Ambient Sound Mode may
not work properly, or a beeping sound (howling) may occur. In
these cases, take your hands off of the microphones of the unit
(Fig. ).
Others
• Be careful not to catch your finger in the unit when folding.
• When you use the unit as wired headphones, use the supplied
headphone cable only. Make sure that the headphone cable is
firmly inserted.
• If you paste stickers, etc. on the touch sensor control panel, the
touch sensor may not operate correctly.
• Do not place this unit in a place exposed to humidity, dust, soot
or steam, or subject to direct sunlight. Do not leave the unit in a
car for a long time. It may cause a malfunction.
• Using the BLUETOOTH device may not function on mobile
phones, depending on radio wave conditions and location where
the equipment is being used.
• High volume may affect your hearing.
• For traffic safety, do not use while driving or cycling.
• Do not use the unit in places where it would be dangerous if you
are unable to hear ambient sound, such as at railroad crossings,
train station platforms, and construction sites.
• Do not put weight or pressure on this unit as it may cause the
unit to deform during long storage.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive shock.
• Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth.
• Do not expose the unit to water. The unit is not waterproof.
Remember to follow the precautions below.
– Be careful not to drop the unit into a sink or other container
filled with water.
– Do not use the unit in humid locations or bad weather, such as
in the rain or snow.
– Do not get the unit wet.
If you touch the unit with wet hands, or put the unit in a damp
article of clothing, the unit may get wet and this may cause a
malfunction of the unit.
• If you experience discomfort after using the unit, stop using the
unit immediately.
• The earpads may deteriorate due to longterm storage or use.
• If you have any questions or problems concerning this unit that are
not covered in this manual, please consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Optional replacement earpads can be ordered from your
nearest Sony dealer.

Précautions
À propos des communications BLUETOOTH
• La technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH fonctionne dans un rayon
d’environ 10m. La portée de communication maximale peut
varier en fonction des obstacles (corps humain, objet métallique,
mur, etc.) ou de l’environnement électromagnétique.
• Sur l’illustration, les pointillés indiquent l’emplacement de
l’antenne intégrée à l’appareil (Fig. ). La sensibilité des
communications BLUETOOTH pourra être améliorée en orientant
l’antenne intégrée vers le périphérique BLUETOOTH connecté. La
présence d’obstacles entre l’antenne du périphérique connecté
et l’antenne intégrée à cet appareil peut engendrer des parasites
ou des pertes de niveau sonore, voire la désactivation des
communications.
• Les communications BLUETOOTH peuvent être désactivées, ou
des parasites ou des pertes de niveau sonore peuvent apparaître
dans les conditions suivantes.
– Une personne se trouve entre l’appareil et le périphérique
BLUETOOTH.
Cette situation peut être améliorée en plaçant le périphérique
BLUETOOTH face à l’antenne de l’appareil.
– Un obstacle, par exemple un objet métallique ou un mur, se
trouve entre l’appareil et le périphérique BLUETOOTH.
– Un appareil opérant à une fréquence de 2,4GHz, par exemple
un périphérique Wi-Fi, un téléphone sans fil ou un four à

• Comme les périphériques BLUETOOTH et Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n)
utilisent la même fréquence (2,4GHz), des interférences de
micro-ondes peuvent se produire et entraîner des parasites, des
pertes de niveau sonore ou la désactivation des communications

périphérique Wi-Fi, mettez ce dernier hors tension.
– Installez cet appareil et le périphérique BLUETOOTH aussi près
que possible l’un de l’autre.
• Les micro-ondes émises par un périphérique BLUETOOTH
peuvent perturber le fonctionnement des appareils médicaux
électroniques. Pour éviter tout accident, mettez cet appareil et
les autres périphériques BLUETOOTH hors tension s’ils sont
situés dans les endroits suivants:
– en présence de gaz inflammable, dans un hôpital ou une
station essence
– à proximité de portes automatiques ou d’alarmes incendie.
• Pour utiliser l’appareil dans un avion, suivez les instructions de
l’équipage de cabine ou demandez à la compagnie aérienne
avec laquelle vous voyagez de vous renseigner sur les conditions
d’utilisation de l’appareil.
Si vous n’utilisez pas le câble pour casque fourni, les ondes radio
risquent de perturber les instruments, entraver leur bon
fonctionnement et provoquer un accident.
Dans un avion, veillez à utiliser le câble pour casque fourni.
• En raison des caractéristiques de la technologie sans fil, le son
reproduit sur cet appareil est décalé par rapport au son et à la

qualité de la lecture sans fil ou en réglant sur SBC le mode de

• Si vous utilisez un smartphone, la situation peut être améliorée
en arrêtant les applications inutiles ou en redémarrant le

À propos de l’utilisation d’applications d’appel pour
smartphones et ordinateurs
• Cet appareil ne prend en charge que les appels entrants
normaux. Les applications d’appel pour smartphones et
ordinateurs ne sont pas prises en charge.
À propos du chargement de l’appareil
• Cet appareil peut seulement être chargé via USB.
• Pendant le chargement, il n’est pas possible de mettre cet
appareil sous tension et d’utiliser les fonctions BLUETOOTH et
réducteur de bruits.
• En connectant le câble pour casque fourni, vous pouvez utiliser
l’appareil, même pendant son chargement.
• Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant une période prolongée,
la batterie rechargeable risque de ne pas garder une charge
suffisante. La batterie pourra garder correctement sa charge
après avoir été déchargée et rechargée à plusieurs reprises.
• Si vous rangez l’appareil pendant une période prolongée,
chargez la batterie deux fois par an pour éviter la décharge
totale.
• Si l’autonomie de l’appareil diminue considérablement, vous
devez remplacer la batterie rechargeable par une neuve.

Remarque sur l’électricité statique
• L’électricité statique accumulée dans le corps peut entraîner de
légers picotements dans les oreilles. Pour en réduire les effets,
portez des vêtements en fibres naturelles.
Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement
• Réinitialisez l’appareil (Fig. ).
Appuyez simultanément sur les touches et NC/AMBIENT
pendant le chargement. L’appareil est réinitialisé. Les
informations de jumelage ne sont pas supprimées.
• Si le problème persiste même après avoir effectué la
réinitialisation ci-dessus, initialisez l’appareil comme suit.
Déconnectez le câble micro-USB du port micro-USB, mettez
l’appareil hors tension, puis maintenez les touches et NC/
AMBIENT enfoncées simultanément pendant plus de 7secondes.
Le témoin (bleu) clignote 4fois et l’appareil est réinitialisé selon
les paramètres définis en usine. Toutes les informations de
jumelage sont supprimées.
• Après avoir initialisé l’appareil, il est possible qu’il ne se connecte
pas à votre iPhone ou à votre ordinateur. Dans ce cas, supprimez
les informations de jumelage de l’appareil sur l’iPhone ou
l’ordinateur, puis jumelez-les à nouveau.
Qu’est-ce que le réducteur de bruits?
• Le circuit du réducteur de bruits capte les bruits extérieurs grâce
à ses micros incorporés et envoie à l’appareil un signal
d’annulation des bruits égal, mais opposé.
– Il est possible que l’effet du réducteur de bruits ne soit pas
prononcé dans un environnement très calme, ou encore que
certains bruits soient audibles.
– L’effet du réducteur de bruits peut varier ou un signal sonore
(alarme) peut retentir selon la façon dont vous portez
l’appareil. Dans ces cas, retirez l’appareil et remettez-le.
– Le réducteur de bruits agit principalement sur la gamme des
basses fréquences. Bien que le bruit soit réduit, il n’est pas
complètement inaudible.
– Lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil dans un train ou en voiture, des
bruits peuvent être perceptibles en fonction de l’état de la
route.
– Les téléphones mobiles peuvent provoquer des interférences
et des bruits. Dans ce cas, éloignez davantage encore l’appareil
du téléphone mobile.
– Ne couvrez pas les micros de l’appareil ( ) avec les mains. La
fonction réducteur de bruits ou le mode bruit ambiant risque
de ne pas fonctionner correctement, ou un signal sonore
(alarme) peut retentir. Dans ces cas, retirez les mains du micro
de l’appareil (Fig. ).

• Prenez garde de coincer les doigts dans l’appareil lorsque vous le
repliez.
• Quand vous utilisez l’appareil comme casque filaire, utilisez
exclusivement le câble pour casque fourni. Assurez-vous que le
câble pour casque est fermement inséré.
• Si vous collez des stickers, etc. sur le panneau de commande du
capteur tactile, ce dernier peut ne pas fonctionner correctement.
• Ne placez pas cet appareil dans un endroit exposé à l’humidité,
la poussière, la suie ou la vapeur. Ne le laissez pas non plus en
plein soleil. N’abandonnez pas l’appareil dans un véhicule
pendant une période prolongée. Il risquerait de tomber en
panne.
• Il est possible que l’appareil BLUETOOTH ne fonctionne pas avec
des téléphones portables, selon l’état des ondes radio et le lieu
d’utilisation.
• Vous risquez de subir des lésions auditives si vous utilisez cet
appareil à un volume trop élevé.
• Pour des raisons de sécurité, ne l’utilisez pas en voiture ou à vélo.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des endroits où il peut être
dangereux de ne pas entendre les bruits ambiants, notamment à
proximité d’un passage à niveau, sur un quai de gare ou sur un
chantier.
• Ne posez aucun poids sur l’appareil et n’exercez aucune pression

Precauciones
Sobre las comunicaciones BLUETOOTH
• La tecnología inalámbrica BLUETOOTH funciona dentro de un
radio de aproximadamente 10 m. El radio máximo de

audio o que se corte la comunicación.

de la reproducción inalámbrica o ajustando el modo de la
reproducción inalámbrica en SBC en el dispositivo transmisor.

• Si usa un smartphone, la situación puede mejorar si cierra
aplicaciones que no necesita o reinicia el teléfono.
Utilización de apps de llamadas para smartphones y
ordenadores
• Esta unidad solo admite las llamadas entrantes normales. La
unidad no es compatible con las apps de llamadas para
smartphones y ordenadores.
Carga de la unidad
• Esta unidad funciona únicamente con carga USB.
• Durante la carga, esta unidad no puede encenderse ni pueden
usarse las funciones BLUETOOTH o de cancelación de ruido.
• Puede utilizar la unidad conectando el cable de auriculares
suministrado, incluso durante la carga de la unidad.
• Si no utiliza la unidad durante un período prolongado, es posible
que la pila recargable no conserve una carga suficiente. La pila
podrá conservar una carga suficiente después de varios ciclos
seguidos de descarga y carga.
• Si almacena la unidad durante un período prolongado, cargue la
pila una vez cada medio año para evitar una descarga excesiva.
• Si la autonomía de la unidad se reduce notablemente, sustituya
la pila recargable por otra nueva. Póngase en contacto con su

Pulse los botones y NC/AMBIENT al mismo tiempo durante la
carga. La unidad se reiniciará. La información de emparejamiento no
se elimina.
• Si el problema continúa incluso después de reiniciar la unidad,
inicialice la unidad de la forma descrita a continuación.
Desconecte el cable micro USB del puerto micro USB, apague la
unidad y mantenga pulsados los botones y NC/AMBIENT al
mismo tiempo durante más de 7segundos. El indicador (azul)
parpadea 4veces y se restablece la configuración de fábrica de
la unidad. Toda la información de emparejamiento se elimina.
• Después de inicializar la unidad, es posible que no se conecte a
su iPhone o su ordenador. En este caso, elimine la información
de emparejamiento de la unidad del iPhone o el ordenador y
vuelva a emparejarlos.
¿Qué es la cancelación de ruido?
• El circuito de cancelación de ruido detecta el ruido exterior a
través de los micrófonos integrados y envía una señal de
cancelación igual pero de signo contrario a la unidad.
– El efecto de cancelación de ruido tal vez no se aprecie mucho
en entornos muy silenciosos o es posible incluso que se
escuche algún ruido.
– En función de como utilice la unidad, es posible que el efecto
de cancelación de ruido varíe o que se escuche un pitido. En
estos casos, quítese la unidad y vuelva a ponérsela.
– La función de cancelación de ruido funciona principalmente
para los ruidos de la banda de frecuencias bajas. Aunque el
ruido se reduce, no se elimina del todo.
– Si utiliza la unidad en un tren o un coche, puede producirse
ruido en función de las condiciones de la circulación.
– Los teléfonos móviles pueden causar interferencias y ruido. En
estos casos, aleje la unidad del teléfono móvil.
– No tape los micrófonos de la unidad ( ) con las manos. La
función de cancelación de ruido o el Modo sonido ambiente
podrían dejar de funcionar correctamente o podría escucharse
un pitido. En estos casos, aparte las manos de los micrófonos
de la unidad (fig. ).

• Al cerrar la unidad, vigile no pillarse los dedos.
• Si utiliza la unidad como unos auriculares con cable, utilice
únicamente el cable de auriculares suministrado. Asegúrese de
que el cable de auriculares está correctamente conectado.
• Si coloca pegatinas, etc. en el panel de control del sensor táctil,
este podría no funcionar correctamente.
• No deje la unidad en un lugar con presencia de humedad, polvo,
hollín o vapor o expuesto a la luz solar directa. No deje la unidad
en el interior de un vehículo durante un período prolongado.
Podría averiarse.
• Es posible que el dispositivo BLUETOOTH no pueda utilizarse con
teléfonos móviles, en función de las condiciones de las ondas de
radio y el lugar en el que se utilice el equipo.
• Si utiliza los auriculares a un volumen alto, puede dañar sus
oídos.
• Por razones de seguridad viaria, no los utilice mientras conduzca
o vaya en bicicleta.
• No utilice la unidad en lugares en los que no escuchar el sonido
ambiente pueda resultar peligroso, como pasos a nivel, andenes
de ferrocarril u obras.
• No aplique presión ni coloque pesos sobre esta unidad, p1-ya que
podría deformarse en caso de almacenamiento prolongado.
• No exponga la unidad a impactos fuertes.
• Limpie la unidad con un paño suave y seco.
• No exponga la unidad al contacto con el agua. La unidad no es
estanca al agua.
Siga siempre las precauciones indicadas a continuación.
– No deje caer la unidad en un fregadero ni en recipientes llenos
de agua.
– No utilice la unidad en lugares húmedos o con malas
condiciones meteorológicas, como lluvia o nieve.
– No deje que la unidad se moje.

Sicherheitsmaßnahmen
BLUETOOTH-Kommunikation
• Die Reichweite der BLUETOOTH-Funktechnologie beträgt ca.
10m. Die maximale Kommunikationsreichweite kann je nach
Hindernissen (Personen, Metall, Wände usw.) oder der
elektromagnetischen Umgebung variieren.
• Die Antenne ist wie mit der gepunkteten Linie dargestellt in das
Gerät integriert (Abb. ). Sie können die Empfangsqualität bei
der BLUETOOTH-Kommunikation verbessern, indem Sie die
integrierte Antenne in Richtung des verbundenen BLUETOOTH-
Geräts drehen. Wenn sich Hindernisse zwischen der Antenne des
verbundenen Geräts und der integrierten Antenne dieses Geräts
befinden, können Störrauschen bzw. Tonaussetzer auftreten oder
es ist keine Kommunikation möglich.
• Unter den folgenden Bedingungen ist keine BLUETOOTH-
Kommunikation möglich oder Störrauschen bzw. Tonaussetzer
können auftreten.
– Es befindet sich eine Person zwischen dem Gerät und dem
BLUETOOTH-Gerät.
In dieser Situation kann der Empfang eventuell verbessert
werden, indem Sie das BLUETOOTH-Gerät auf die Seite dieses
Geräts stellen, an der sich die Antenne befindet.
– Zwischen diesem Gerät und dem BLUETOOTH-Gerät befindet
sich ein Hindernis, wie z.B. Metall oder eine Wand.

– Stellen Sie dieses Gerät und das BLUETOOTH-Gerät möglichst
nahe beieinander auf.
• Von einem BLUETOOTH-Gerät ausgehende Mikrowellen können
den Betrieb von medizinischen Geräten beeinflussen. Schalten
Sie dieses Gerät und andere BLUETOOTH-Geräte an folgenden
Orten aus. Andernfalls besteht Unfallgefahr:
– an Orten mit entzündlichen Gasen, in einem Krankenhaus oder
an einer Tankstelle
– in der Nähe von automatischen Türen oder Feuermeldern.
• Befolgen Sie bei Verwendung des Geräts im Flugzeug die
Anweisungen der Flugbegleiter oder fragen Sie bei der
Fluggesellschaft nach.
Wenn Sie nicht die mitgelieferten Kopfhörerkabel verwenden,
können Funkwellen die Instrumente beeinträchtigen, was zu
Fehlfunktionen und Unfällen führen kann.
Verwenden Sie im Flugzeug unbedingt die mitgelieferten
Kopfhörerkabel.
• Aufgrund der Merkmale der Funktechnologie wird der Ton von
diesem Gerät gegenüber dem Ton oder der Musik vom
sendenden Gerät verzögert ausgegeben. Daher sind Bild und
Ton bei der Filmwiedergabe oder beim Spielen unter Umständen
nicht synchron.
• Dieses Gerät unterstützt dem BLUETOOTH-Standard
entsprechende Sicherheitsfunktionen, um die
Verbindungssicherheit bei BLUETOOTH-Funkverbindungen zu
gewährleisten. Je nach Einstellung bieten diese jedoch
möglicherweise keinen ausreichenden Schutz. Seien Sie bei der
Kommunikation mit BLUETOOTH-Funktechnologie also
vorsichtig.
• Für Sicherheitslücken bei der Übertragung von Informationen
während der BLUETOOTH-Kommunikation kann keine Haftung
übernommen werden.
• Eine Verbindung mit allen BLUETOOTH-Geräten kann nicht
garantiert werden.
– Für die Authentifizierung benötigen Sie ein Gerät mit
BLUETOOTH-Funktion, das dem von Bluetooth SIG, Inc.,
spezifizierten BLUETOOTH-Standard entspricht.
– Auch bei Geräten, die dem oben erwähnten BLUETOOTH-
Standard entsprechen, kann es vorkommen, dass je nach
Funktionen oder technischen Daten der Geräte keine
Verbindung hergestellt werden kann oder sie nicht einwandfrei
funktionieren.
– Wenn Sie freihändig telefonieren, kann je nach Gerät oder
Kommunikationsumgebung Störrauschen zu hören sein.
• Je nach dem Gerät, zu dem eine Verbindung hergestellt werden
soll, kann es eine Weile dauern, bis die Kommunikation beginnt.
Bei häufigen Tonaussetzern während der Wiedergabe
• Die Empfangsqualität lässt sich eventuell verbessern, indem Sie
„Priorität auf stabiler Verbindung“ als den Tonqualitätsmodus
einstellen. Näheres dazu finden Sie in der Hilfe.
• Die Empfangsqualität lässt sich eventuell verbessern, indem Sie
die Qualitätseinstellungen für die drahtlose Wiedergabe ändern
oder den drahtlosen Wiedergabemodus am Sendegerät fest auf
SBC einstellen. Näheres finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung
zum Sendegerät.
• Bei einem Smartphone können Sie eventuell eine Verbesserung
erzielen, indem Sie nicht benötigte Apps schließen oder das
Smartphone neu starten.

• Dieses Gerät unterstützt nur normal eingehende Anrufe.

Laden des Geräts
• Dieses Gerät kann nur über USB geladen werden.
• Während des Ladens können Sie dieses Gerät nicht einschalten
und weder die BLUETOOTH- noch die Noise-Cancelling-Funktion
verwenden.
• Sie können das Gerät auch beim Laden verwenden, indem Sie
das mitgelieferte Kopfhörerkabel anschließen.
• Falls Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, hält der Akku
nach dem Laden möglicherweise nicht sehr lange. Der Akku hält
die Ladung wieder länger, nachdem Sie ihn einige Male entladen
und wieder aufgeladen haben.
• Falls Sie das Gerät lange Zeit nicht verwenden, laden Sie den
Akku halbjährlich auf, um ihn vor einer Tiefentladung zu
schützen.
• Wenn sich die Betriebsdauer des Akkus stark verkürzt, müssen
Sie den Akku durch einen neuen ersetzen. Wenden Sie sich für
einen Ersatzakku bitte an Ihren Sony-Händler.
Hinweis zur statischen Aufladung
• Wenn sich im Körper statische Aufladung bildet, führt dies
möglicherweise zu einem leichten Kribbeln in den Ohren. Der
Effekt lässt sich minimieren, indem Sie Kleidungsstücke aus
Naturfasern tragen.
Wenn das Gerät nicht richtig funktioniert
• Setzen Sie das Gerät zurück (Abb. ).
Drücken Sie beim Laden gleichzeitig die Tasten und NC/
AMBIENT. Das Gerät wird zurückgesetzt. Die Pairing-
Informationen werden nicht gelöscht.
• Wenn das Problem auch nach dem oben beschriebenen
Zurücksetzen bestehen bleibt, initialisieren Sie das Gerät wie folgt.
Trennen Sie das Micro-USB-Kabel vom Micro-USB-Anschluss,
schalten Sie das Gerät aus und halten Sie dann die Tasten und
NC/AMBIENT gleichzeitig mehr als 7Sekunden gedrückt. Die
(blaue) Anzeige blinkt 4-mal und das Gerät wird auf die
Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. Alle Pairing-Informationen
werden gelöscht.
• Nach der Initialisierung des Geräts kann sich das Gerät eventuell
nicht mehr mit Ihrem iPhone oder Computer verbinden. Löschen
Sie in diesem Fall die Pairing-Informationen des Geräts von
Ihrem iPhone oder Computer und führen Sie das Pairing dann

Was ist das Noise-Cancelling?
• Der Noise-Cancelling-Schaltkreis erkennt Umgebungsgeräusche
über eingebaute Mikrofone und sendet ein gleichwertiges, aber
entgegengesetztes Schallunterdrückungssignal an das Gerät.
– In einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung ist der Noise-Cancelling-
Effekt nicht sehr ausgeprägt bzw. es sind noch einige
Geräusche zu hören.
– Abhängig davon, wie Sie das Gerät tragen, kann der
Noise-Cancelling-Effekt variieren oder es kann zu einem
piependen Geräusch (Heulen) kommen. Nehmen Sie in diesem
Fall das Gerät ab und setzen Sie es wieder auf.
– Die Noise-Cancelling-Funktion wirkt überwiegend auf
Geräusche mit niedrigen Frequenzen. Diese Geräusche werden
zwar reduziert, aber nicht vollständig unterdrückt.
– Wenn Sie das Gerät in einem Zug oder Auto verwenden,
können je nach den Verkehrsbedingungen Geräusche zu hören
sein.
– Mobiltelefone können Interferenzen und Störrauschen
verursachen. Sorgen Sie in diesem Fall für mehr Abstand
zwischen dem Gerät und dem Mobiltelefon.
– Bedecken Sie die Mikrofone des Geräts ( ) nicht mit den
Händen. Andernfalls funktioniert der Noise-Cancelling-Effekt
oder der Modus für Umgebungsgeräusche nicht
ordnungsgemäß oder es kann zu einem piependen Geräusch
(Heulen) kommen. Nehmen Sie in diesen Fällen die Hände von
den Mikrofonen des Geräts (Abb. ).
Sonstiges
• Achten Sie darauf, sich nicht die Finger einzuklemmen, wenn Sie
das Gerät zusammenklappen.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Kopfhörerkabel,
wenn Sie das Gerät als Kabelkopfhörer verwenden. Schließen Sie
das Kopfhörerkabel unbedingt fest an.
• Wenn Sie Aufkleber usw. auf das Touchsensor-Bedienfeld kleben,
funktioniert der Touchsensor eventuell nicht ordnungsgemäß.
• Legen Sie dieses Gerät nicht an einen Ort, an dem es
Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Ruß, Dampf oder direktem Sonnenlicht
ausgesetzt ist. Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht längere Zeit in einem
Auto liegen. Andernfalls kann es zu Fehlfunktionen kommen.
• Je nach dem Zustand der Funkwellen und dem Ort, an dem die
Geräte verwendet werden, funktioniert das BLUETOOTH-Gerät
u.U. nicht mit Mobiltelefonen.
• Eine zu hohe Lautstärke kann zu Gehörschäden führen.
• Verwenden Sie Kopfhörer aus Gründen der Verkehrssicherheit
nicht beim Fahren von Kraftfahrzeugen oder beim Fahrradfahren.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten, an denen es gefährlich
wäre, keine Umgebungsgeräusche mehr wahrnehmen zu
können, wie z.B. an Bahnübergängen, auf Bahnsteigen und auf
Baustellen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass auf diesem Gerät kein Gewicht oder
Druck lastet, da es sich andernfalls bei langer Aufbewahrung
verformen kann.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor starken Stößen.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Wasser. Das Gerät ist nicht wasserfest.
Befolgen Sie stets die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen.
– Lassen Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall in ein Waschbecken oder
einen anderen mit Wasser gefüllten Behälter fallen.
– Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht an feuchten Orten oder bei
schlechten Witterungsbedingungen wie Regen oder Schnee.
– Lassen Sie kein Wasser auf das Gerät gelangen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät mit feuchten Händen berühren oder auf
feuchtem Stoff (z.B. einem Handtuch) ablegen, kann es nass
werden. Dies kann zu Fehlfunktionen führen.
• Wenn Sie sich nach dem Verwenden des Geräts nicht wohl
fühlen, verwenden Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall weiter.
• Die Ohrpolster können sich nach langer Aufbewahrung oder
Verwendung abnutzen.
• Sollten an dem Gerät Probleme auftreten oder sollten Sie Fragen
haben, auf die in dieser Anleitung nicht eingegangen wird,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Sony-Händler.

Installeer de apparatuur niet in een beperkte ruimte zoals een
boekenrek of inbouwkast.
Stel de batterij (geïnstalleerde accu of batterijen) niet langdurig
bloot aan extreem hoge temperaturen, zoals zonlicht, vuur,
enzovoort.
De secundaire cellen of batterijen mogen niet uit elkaar worden
gehaald, geopend of gescheurd.
Bij een lekkende cel moet u vermijden dat de vloeistof in aanraking
komt met de huid of de ogen. In geval van aanraking, wast u het
getroffen gebied met veel water en raadpleegt u een arts.
Secundaire cellen of batterijen moet u vóór gebruik opladen.
Raadpleeg steeds de gebruiksaanwijzing of de
apparaathandleiding van de fabrikant voor correcte
oplaadinstructies.
Na langdurige opberging moeten de cellen of de batterijen voor
een optimale werking mogelijk meerdere malen worden
opgeladen en ontladen.

Verwijdering van oude batterijen,
elektrische en elektronische apparaten
(van toepassing in de Europese Unie en
andere Europese landen met afzonderlijke
inzamelingssystemen)
Dit symbool op het product, de batterij of op de
verpakking wijst erop dat het product en de
batterij, niet als huishoudelijk afval behandeld mag worden.
Op sommige batterijen kan dit symbool gebruikt worden in
combinatie met een chemisch symbool. Het chemisch symbool
voor kwik (Hg) of lood (Pb) wordt toegevoegd wanneer de batterij
meer dan 0,0005 % kwik of 0,004 % lood bevat.
Door deze producten en batterijen op juiste wijze af te voeren,
vermijdt u mogelijke negatieve gevolgen voor mens en milieu die
zouden kunnen veroorzaakt worden in geval van verkeerde
afvalbehandeling. Het recycleren van materialen draagt bij tot het
behoud van natuurlijke bronnen.
In het geval dat de producten om redenen van veiligheid,
prestaties dan wel in verband met data-integriteit een permanente
verbinding met een ingebouwde batterij vereisen, mag deze
batterij enkel door gekwalificeerd servicepersoneel vervangen
worden. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de batterij, het elektrisch en het
elektronische apparaat op een juiste wijze zal worden behandeld,
dienen deze producten aan het eind van zijn levenscyclus
overhandigd te worden aan het desbetreffende inzamelingspunt
voor de recyclage van elektrisch en elektronisch materiaal.
Voor alle andere batterijen verwijzen we u naar het hoofdstuk over
hoe de batterij veilig uit het product te verwijderen. Overhandig de
batterij aan het desbetreffende inzamelingspunt voor de recyclage
van batterijen.
Voor meer details in verband met het recycleren van dit product of
batterij, kan u contact opnemen met de gemeentelijke instanties,
de organisatie belast met de verwijdering van huishoudelijk afval
of de winkel waar u het product of batterij hebt gekocht.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen
Over BLUETOOTH-communicatie
• De draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie werkt binnen een bereik
van ongeveer 10m. Het maximale bereik van de communicatie
kan variëren afhankelijk van obstakels (personen, metalen,
wanden enz.) of de elektromagnetische omgeving.
• De antenne is ingebouwd in het toestel zoals aangegeven met
de stippellijn (afb. ). U kunt de gevoeligheid van de
BLUETOOTH-communicatie verbeteren door de ingebouwde
antenne te richten naar het aangesloten BLUETOOTH-apparaat.
Wanneer er zich obstakels bevinden tussen de antenne van het
aangesloten apparaat en de ingebouwde antenne van dit
toestel, kan er ruis hoorbaar zijn, het geluid wegvallen of de
communicatie verstoord raken.
• In de volgende omstandigheden kan de BLUETOOTH-
communicatie verstoord raken, kan er ruis hoorbaar zijn of kan
het geluid wegvallen.
– Er bevindt zich iemand tussen het toestel en het BLUETOOTH-
apparaat.
U kunt deze situatie verhelpen door het BLUETOOTH-apparaat
naar de antenne van het toestel te richten.
– Er bevindt zich een obstakel zoals een metalen voorwerp of
muur tussen het toestel en het BLUETOOTH-apparaat.
– Er is een apparaat dat de 2,4GHz-frequentie gebruikt, zoals
een Wi-Fi-apparaat, een draadloze telefoon of een magnetron,
in gebruik in de buurt van dit toestel.
• Omdat BLUETOOTH-apparaten en Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n)
dezelfde frequentie gebruiken (2,4GHz), kan er zich
microgolfinterferentie voordoen. Als dit toestel in de buurt van
een Wi-Fi-apparaat wordt gebruikt, kan dit ertoe leiden dat er
ruis hoorbaar is, het geluid wegvalt of de communicatie
verstoord raakt. Ga in dergelijke gevallen als volgt te werk.
– Gebruik dit toestel op een afstand van minstens 10 m van het
Wi-Fi-apparaat.
– Als dit toestel op minder dan 10 m van een Wi-Fi-apparaat
wordt gebruikt, schakelt u het Wi-Fi-apparaat uit.
– Installeer dit toestel en het BLUETOOTH-apparaat zo dicht
mogelijk bij elkaar.
• Microgolven die worden uitgestraald door een BLUETOOTH-
apparaat kunnen de werking van elektronische medische
apparaten beïnvloeden. Schakel dit toestel en andere
BLUETOOTH-apparaten uit op de volgende plaatsen, omdat dit
ongelukken kan veroorzaken:
– in de buurt van ontvlambare gassen, in ziekenhuizen of
benzinestations
– in de buurt van automatische deuren of brandalarmen
• Wanneer u het toestel in een vliegtuig gebruikt, moet u de
instructies van het cabinepersoneel volgen of de vliegmaatschappij
vragen naar de voorwaarden voor het gebruik van het toestel.
Als u de meegeleverde hoofdtelefoonkabel niet gebruikt, kunnen
radiogolven instrumenten beïnvloeden, wat kan leiden tot een
ongeval wegens storingen.
Gebruik in een vliegtuig de meegeleverde hoofdtelefoonkabel.
• Vanwege de aard van draadloze technologie is het geluid dat
wordt afgespeeld op dit apparaat vertraagd ten opzichte van het
geluid en de muziek op het zendende apparaat. Het is mogelijk
dat hierdoor het beeld en het geluid niet synchroon lopen bij het
bekijken van een film of het spelen van een game.
• Dit toestel ondersteunt veiligheidsvoorzieningen die voldoen
aan de BLUETOOTH-norm voor een beveiligde verbinding
wanneer de draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie wordt gebruikt,
maar deze beveiliging zal afhankelijk van de omstandigheden
mogelijk niet voldoende zijn. Wees voorzichtig wanneer u
communiceert via de draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie.
• We zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor het lekken van informatie
tijdens BLUETOOTH-communicatie.
• Wij kunnen niet garanderen dat er een verbinding tot stand kan
worden gebracht met alle BLUETOOTH-apparaten.
– Een apparaat met BLUETOOTH-functie moet voldoen aan de
BLUETOOTH-norm die opgesteld werd door Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
en moet geverifieerd zijn.
– Zelfs als het verbonden apparaat voldoet aan de hierboven
vermelde BLUETOOTH-norm, kan met sommige apparaten
mogelijk geen verbinding worden gemaakt of functioneert het
apparaat niet correct, afhankelijk van de kenmerken of
technische gegevens van het apparaat.
– Wanneer u handenvrij belt, kan er afhankelijk van het apparaat
of de communicatieomgeving ruis optreden.
• Afhankelijk van het apparaat waarmee de verbinding tot stand
wordt gebracht, kan het even duren voordat de communicatie
van start gaat.
Als het geluid regelmatig hapert tijdens het afspelen
• Het probleem kan mogelijk verholpen worden door de
geluidskwaliteitsstand in te stellen op "prioriteit voor stabiele
verbinding". Raadpleeg de Helpgids voor meer informatie.
• Het probleem kan mogelijk verholpen worden door op het
verzendende apparaat de instellingen voor de kwaliteit van het
draadloos afspelen te veranderen of de stand voor het draadloos
afspelen in te stellen op SBC. Raadpleeg voor meer informatie de
meegeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing van het verzendende
apparaat.
• Als u een smartphone gebruikt, kan het probleem mogelijk
verholpen worden door onnodige toepassingen te sluiten of
door de smartphone opnieuw op te starten.
Over het gebruik van bel-apps voor smartphones en
computers
• Met dit toestel kunt u enkel normale inkomende oproepen
ontvangen. Bel-apps voor smartphones en computers worden
niet ondersteund.
Het toestel opladen
• Dit toestel kan alleen opgeladen worden via USB.
• Tijdens het opladen kunt u dit toestel niet inschakelen en kunt u
evenmin de BLUETOOTH- en geluidsonderdrukkingsfunctie
gebruiken.
• U kunt het toestel gebruiken door de bijgeleverde
hoofdtelefoonkabel aan te sluiten, zelfs tijdens het opladen van
het toestel.
• Als u het toestel langdurig niet gebruikt, lukt het mogelijk niet
om de batterij tot de normale capaciteit op te laden. Na de
batterij verschillende keren na elkaar te hebben opgeladen en
geleegd, zult u deze opnieuw volledig kunnen opladen.
• Als u het toestel ergens langdurig opbergt, dient u de batterij
minstens elke zes maanden op te laden om overmatige
ontlading te voorkomen.
• Als u het toestel beduidend minder lang kunt gebruiken, moet u
de oplaadbare batterij vervangen door een nieuwe. Neem
hiervoor contact op met uw dichtstbijzijnde Sony-verdeler.
Opmerking over statische elektriciteit
• Door toenemende statische elektriciteit in uw lichaam kunt u
prikkelingen in uw oren voelen. Dit effect kan worden beperkt
door kleren te dragen die gemaakt zijn van natuurlijke
materialen.
Als het toestel niet correct werkt
• Reset het toestel (afb. ).
Druk tijdens het opladen tegelijk op de knoppen en NC/
AMBIENT. Het toestel wordt gereset. De koppelingsinformatie
wordt niet gewist.
• Als het probleem blijft aanhouden, zelfs na het toestel te hebben
gereset, initialiseert u het toestel als volgt.
Koppel de micro-USB-kabel los van de micro-USB-poort, schakel
het toestel uit en houd de knoppen en NC/AMBIENT langer
dan 7seconden tegelijk ingedrukt. De indicator (blauw) knippert
4keer en de fabrieksinstellingen van het toestel worden hersteld.
Alle koppelingsinformatie wordt gewist.
• Na het initialiseren van het toestel kan het mogelijk geen
verbinding maken met uw iPhone of computer. Wis in dat geval

Wat is geluidsonderdrukking?
• Het geluidsonderdrukkingscircuit registreert omgevingsgeluiden
via ingebouwde microfoons en verzendt een signaal in
tegenfase naar het toestel.
– In een erg stille omgeving is het effect van de
geluidsonderdrukking mogelijk niet erg uitgesproken of hoort
u mogelijk toch geluiden.
– Afhankelijk van de manier waarop u het toestel opzet, kan het
effect van de geluidsonderdrukking variëren of kan er een
pieptoon (gehuil) te horen zijn. Zet in dat geval het toestel af
en zet het vervolgens opnieuw op.
– De geluidsonderdrukkingsfunctie dempt vooral
omgevingsgeluiden met lage frequenties. De
omgevingsgeluiden worden verminderd, maar worden niet
volledig uitgeschakeld.
– Wanneer u het toestel gebruikt in een trein of auto, kan er
geluid hoorbaar zijn afhankelijk van de buitenomgeving.
– Mobiele telefoons kunnen storing en geluiden veroorzaken.
Gebruik het toestel in dat geval uit de buurt van eventuele
mobiele telefoons.
– Bedek de microfoons van het toestel ( ) niet met uw handen.
De geluidsonderdrukkingsfunctie of de omgevingsgeluidmodus
werkt mogelijk niet goed of er kan een pieptoon (gehuil) te
horen zijn. Laat in dat geval de microfoons van het toestel los
(afb. ).
Overige
• Zorg ervoor dat uw vingers tijdens het opvouwen niet geklemd
raken in het toestel.
• Wanneer u het toestel als een bekabelde hoofdtelefoon gebruikt,
mag u alleen de bijgeleverde hoofdtelefoonkabel gebruiken.
Zorg ervoor dat de hoofdtelefoonkabel stevig aangesloten is.
• Als u stickers enz. op het bedieningspaneel van de
aanraaksensor kleeft, werkt de aanraaksensor mogelijk niet
goed.
• Bewaar het toestel niet op een plaats waar het wordt
blootgesteld aan vocht, stof, roet, stoom of rechtstreeks zonlicht.
Laat het toestel niet langdurig in een auto liggen. Dit kan
namelijk storingen veroorzaken.
• Mogelijk zal het BLUETOOTH-apparaat, afhankelijk van de
omstandigheden van de radiogolven en de locatie waar het
apparaat wordt gebruikt, niet werken in combinatie met mobiele
telefoons.
• Een hoog volumeniveau kan uw gehoor beschadigen.
• Voor veiligheid in het verkeer mag u dit apparaat niet gebruiken
tijdens het autorijden of fietsen.
• Gebruik het toestel niet op plaatsen waar het gevaarlijk kan zijn
dat u de omgevingsgeluiden niet hoort, zoals aan een
spoorwegovergang, op een treinperron of op een bouwwerf.
• Plaats geen gewicht op dit toestel en oefen er geen druk op uit.
Dit kan er namelijk voor zorgen dat het toestel vervormd raakt
wanneer het lang wordt opgeborgen.
• Stel het toestel niet bloot aan zware schokken.
• Reinig het toestel met een zachte droge doek.
• Stel het toestel niet bloot aan water. Het toestel is niet
waterdicht.
Volg altijd de onderstaande voorzorgsmaatregelen.
– Laat het toestel niet vallen in een gootsteen of een ander
voorwerp dat gevuld is met water.
– Gebruik het toestel niet op vochtige locaties of in slecht weer,
zoals bij regen of sneeuw.
– Laat het toestel niet nat worden.
Als u het toestel aanraakt met natte handen of het in een nat
kledingstuk bewaart, kan het nat worden en defect raken.
• Als u ongemakken ervaart na het toestel te hebben gebruikt,
mag u het niet langer gebruiken.
• De oorschelpen kunnen verslijten na lang gebruik of een lange
opbergtijd.
• Bij vragen of problemen met betrekking tot dit toestel die niet in
deze gids aan bod komen, kunt u contact opnemen met een
Sony-verdeler bij u in de buurt.

Precauzioni
Comunicazioni BLUETOOTH
• La tecnologia wireless BLUETOOTH opera in un raggio di circa
10m. Il raggio di comunicazione massimo può variare in base
alla presenza di ostacoli (persone, oggetti metallici, pareti e così
via) o all’ambiente elettromagnetico.
• L’antenna è integrata nell’unità, come indicato dalla linea
tratteggiata (Fig. ). È possibile migliorare la sensibilità delle
comunicazioni BLUETOOTH orientando l’antenna integrata verso
il dispositivo BLUETOOTH connesso. In presenza di ostacoli tra
l’antenna del dispositivo connesso e l’antenna integrata di
questa unità, è possibile che si verifichino disturbi o interruzioni
dell’audio o che le comunicazioni siano disabilitate.
• Nelle seguenti condizioni è possibile che le comunicazioni
BLUETOOTH risultino disabilitate o che si verifichino disturbi o
interruzioni dell’audio.
– Presenza di una persona tra l’unità e il dispositivo BLUETOOTH.
Questa situazione può essere evitata posizionando il
dispositivo BLUETOOTH davanti all’antenna dell’unità.
– Presenza di ostacoli tra l’unità e il dispositivo BLUETOOTH,
come elementi metallici o pareti.
– Nei pressi dell’unità è in funzione un dispositivo che utilizza la
frequenza 2,4GHz, ad esempio un dispositivo Wi-Fi, un
telefono cordless o un forno a microonde.
• I dispositivi BLUETOOTH e Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n) utilizzano la
stessa frequenza (2,4 GHz), pertanto possono verificarsi
interferenze a microonde che causano disturbi o deterioramento
del segnale audio oppure l’impossibilità di comunicazione se
l’unità viene utilizzata in prossimità di un dispositivo Wi-Fi. In tal
caso, procedere come indicato di seguito.
– Utilizzare l’unità ad almeno 10m di distanza dal dispositivo
Wi-Fi.
– Se l’unità viene utilizzata entro un raggio di 10m di distanza
dal dispositivo Wi-Fi, spegnere il dispositivo Wi-Fi.
– Posizionare questa unità e il dispositivo BLUETOOTH il più
vicino possibile tra loro.
• Le microonde emesse da un dispositivo BLUETOOTH possono
influire negativamente sul funzionamento delle apparecchiature
mediche elettroniche. Spegnere l’unità e altri dispositivi
BLUETOOTH nei seguenti luoghi, per evitare possibili incidenti:
– in presenza di gas infiammabili, all’interno di ospedali o
stazioni di rifornimento
– in prossimità di porte automatiche o allarmi antincendio.
• Quando si utilizza l’unità su un aereo, seguire le istruzioni degli
assistenti di volo oppure chiedere alla compagnia aerea di poter
volare in condizioni idonee all’uso dell’unità.
Se non si utilizza il cavo cuffie in dotazione, le onde radio
possono influire sulle strumentazioni, provocando incidenti
dovuti a problemi di funzionamento.
Accertarsi di utilizzare il cavo cuffie in dotazione su un aereo.
• A causa delle caratteristiche della tecnologia senza fili, l’audio
riprodotto da questa unità presenta un ritardo rispetto a quello
riprodotto sul dispositivo di emissione. Pertanto, l’immagine e il
suono potrebbero non essere allineati durante la riproduzione di
un filmato o lo svolgimento di un gioco.
• Questa unità supporta funzionalità di sicurezza conformi allo
standard BLUETOOTH per garantire una connessione sicura
quando è in uso la tecnologia wireless BLUETOOTH; tale
sicurezza potrebbe tuttavia essere insufficiente a seconda
dell’impostazione. Prestare attenzione durante la comunicazione
con la tecnologia wireless BLUETOOTH.
• Sony non si assume alcuna responsabilità per l’eventuale
divulgazione di informazioni durante le comunicazioni
BLUETOOTH.
• La connettività a tutti i dispositivi BLUETOOTH non è garantita.
– È necessario un dispositivo dotato della funzione BLUETOOTH
per conformarsi allo standard BLUETOOTH specificato da
Bluetooth SIG, Inc. e per ottenere l’autenticazione.
– Anche se il dispositivo connesso è conforme allo standard
BLUETOOTH citato, alcuni dispositivi potrebbero non essere
connessi oppure potrebbero non funzionare correttamente a
seconda delle funzioni o delle caratteristiche tecniche del
dispositivo.
– Durante le comunicazioni telefoniche in vivavoce, a seconda
del dispositivo o dell’ambiente di comunicazione è possibile
che si verifichino disturbi.
• A seconda del dispositivo da connettere, l’avvio delle
comunicazioni potrebbe richiedere tempo.
Se il suono salta spesso durante la riproduzione
• La situazione può essere migliorata impostando la modalità di
qualità del suono su “priorità alla stabilità della connessione”. Per
i dettagli, consultare la Guida.
• La situazione può essere migliorata modificando le impostazioni
della qualità di riproduzione wireless o impostando la modalità
di riproduzione wireless SBC sul dispositivo trasmittente. Per i
dettagli, consultare le istruzioni per l’uso in dotazione con il
dispositivo trasmittente.
• Se si utilizza uno smartphone, la situazione potrebbe essere
migliorata con lo spegnimento delle applicazioni non necessarie
o con il riavvio dello smartphone.
Uso delle app di chiamata per smartphone e computer
• Questa unità supporta esclusivamente le normali chiamate in
arrivo. Le app di chiamata per smartphone e computer non sono
supportate.
Ricarica dell’unità
• Questa unità può essere ricaricata esclusivamente tramite USB.
• Durante la ricarica non è possibile né accendere l’unità né
utilizzare le funzioni BLUETOOTH e di eliminazione del rumore.
• È possibile utilizzare l’unità collegando il cavo cuffie in dotazione,
anche durante la ricarica dell’unità.
• Se l’unità rimane inutilizzata per lungo tempo, la batteria
ricaricabile potrebbe non essere in grado di mantenere una
carica sufficiente. La batteria sarà in grado di mantenere
correttamente la carica dopo aver eseguito diversi cicli di
scaricamento e ricarica.
• Se l’unità deve rimanere inutilizzata per lungo tempo, è
consigliabile ricaricare la batteria ogni sei mesi per evitare che si
scarichi eccessivamente.
• Se il tempo d’uso dell’unità diventa estremamente breve, è
necessario sostituire la batteria ricaricabile con una nuova.
Rivolgersi al rivenditore Sony di zona per la sostituzione della
batteria.
Nota sull’elettricità statica
• L’elettricità statica che si accumula nel corpo può causare un
lieve formicolio nelle orecchie. L’effetto può essere ridotto al
minimo indossando abiti realizzati in tessuti naturali.
Se l’unità non funziona correttamente
• Reimpostare l’unità (Fig. ).
Premere contemporaneamente i pulsanti e NC/AMBIENT
durante la ricarica. L’unità viene reimpostata. Le informazioni di
associazione non vengono eliminate.
• Se il problema persiste dopo avere eseguito l’operazione di
reimpostazione sopra indicata, procedere all’inizializzazione
dell’unità come indicato di seguito.
Scollegare il cavo micro USB dalla porta micro USB, spegnere
l’unità, quindi tenere premuti contemporaneamente i pulsanti
e NC/AMBIENT per almeno 7 secondi. La spia (blu) lampeggia 4
volte e l’unità viene reimpostata alle impostazioni di fabbrica.
Tutte le informazioni di associazione vengono eliminate.
• Una volta inizializzata l’unità, potrebbe non essere possibile
connetterla all’iPhone o al computer in uso. In questo caso,
eliminare le informazioni di associazione all’unità dall’iPhone o
dal computer, quindi eseguire nuovamente la procedura di
associazione.
Che cos’è l’eliminazione del rumore?
• Il circuito di eliminazione del rumore rileva realmente i rumori
esterni con dei microfoni incorporati, e invia un segnale di
eliminazione uguale e contrario all’unità.
– L’effetto dell’eliminazione del rumore potrebbe non risultare
marcato in un ambiente molto silenzioso, oppure si potrebbe
sentire del rumore.
– A seconda di come si indossa l’unità, l’effetto di eliminazione
del rumore potrebbe variare oppure potrebbe percepirsi un
segnale acustico (ululato). In tali casi, spegnere l’unità e quindi
riaccenderla.
– La funzione di eliminazione del rumore opera principalmente
sui rumori nella banda delle basse frequenze. Anche se il
rumore viene ridotto, non viene eliminato completamente.
– Quando si utilizza l’unità in un treno o in un’auto, potrebbe
verificarsi del rumore, a seconda delle condizioni della strada.
– I telefoni cellulari possono provocare delle interferenze e del
rumore. Qualora si verifichi questa eventualità, allontanare
ulteriormente l’unità dal telefono cellulare.
– Non coprire i microfoni dell’unità ( ) con le mani. La funzione
di eliminazione del rumore o la Modalità suono ambiente
potrebbero non funzionare correttamente, oppure potrebbe
percepirsi un segnale acustico (ululato). In tali casi, tenere le
mani lontane dai microfoni dell’unità (Fig. ).
Altro
• Prestare attenzione a non ferirsi le dita quando le cuffie vengono
piegate.
• Quando l’unità viene utilizzata come cuffie cablate, utilizzare

• Se si incollano adesivi o elementi simili sul pannello di controllo
del sensore a sfioramento, il sensore potrebbe non funzionare
correttamente.
• Non collocare l’unità in ambienti esposti a umidità, polvere,
fuliggine, vapore o luce diretta del sole. Non lasciare l’unità in
auto per lungo tempo. Potrebbero verificarsi problemi di
funzionamento.
• Il dispositivo BLUETOOTH potrebbe non essere utilizzabile con i
telefoni cellulari, a seconda delle condizioni delle onde radio e

Óvintézkedések
A BLUETOOTH-kommunikáció
• A BLUETOOTH vezeték nélküli technológia körülbelül 10 méter
sugarú körben működik. A maximális kommunikációs tartomány
az akadályoktól (emberi testtől, fémtől, falaktól stb.) és az
elektromágneses környezettől függően változhat.
• Az antenna a pontozott vonal által ábrázolt helyen van beépítve
az egységbe ( . ábra). A BLUETOOTH-kommunikáció
érzékenysége javul, p2-ha a beépített antenna irányát a
csatlakoztatott BLUETOOTH eszköz felé fordítja. Ha akadályok
vannak a csatlakoztatott eszköz antennája és az egység
beépített antennája között, zajos vagy szakadozott lehet a
hangminőség, vagy megszűnhet a kommunikáció.
• A következő feltételek esetén fordulhat elő a BLUETOOTH-
kommunikáció megszűnése, illetve zajos vagy szakadozott
hangminőség.
– Egy emberi test van az egység és a BLUETOOTH eszköz között.
Ez a helyzet javítható, p2-ha a BLUETOOTH eszközt az egység
antennája felé fordítja.
– Az egység és a BLUETOOTH eszköz között akadály, például fém
vagy fal található.
– Az egység közelében 2,4 GHz frekvenciát használó eszközt
használnak, például Wi-Fi eszközt, vezeték nélküli telefont vagy
mikrohullámú sütőt.
• Mivel a BLUETOOTH eszközök és a Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n)
ugyanazt a frekvenciát használják (2,4 GHz), mikrohullámú
interferencia léphet fel, ami zajt, szakadozást vagy a
kommunikáció megszűnését okozhatja, p2-ha ezt az egységet egy
Wi-Fi eszköz közelében használják. Ilyen esetben tegye a
következőket.
– Ezen egységet legalább 10 méter távolságra használja a Wi-Fi
eszköztől.
– Ha az egységet 10 méteres távolságon belül használja egy
Wi-Fi eszköztől, kapcsolja ki a Wi-Fi eszközt.
– Ezen egységet és a BLUETOOTH eszközt a lehető legközelebb
helyezze el egymáshoz.
• A BLUETOOTH eszközök által kibocsátott mikrohullámok hatással
lehetnek az elektronikus orvosi eszközök működésére. Kapcsolja
ki az egységet és más BLUETOOTH eszközöket a következő
helyeken, mert balesetet okozhatnak:
– ahol gyúlékony gáz található, kórházban, vagy benzinkútnál
– automatikus ajtók vagy tűzjelző rendszer közelében.
• A készülék repülőgépen való használatakor kövesse az
utaskísérők utasításait, vagy érdeklődjön az érintett
légitársaságnál a készülék használatára vonatkozó feltételekről.
Ha nem a mellékelt fejhallgató-kábelt használja, a rádióhullámok
befolyásolhatják a műszereket, ami a hibás működésből adódó
balesetet okozhat.
Repülőgépeken mindenképpen a mellékelt fejhallgató-kábelt
használja.
• A vezeték nélküli technológia jellemzői miatt az egységen
hallható hang késik a küldő eszközön lejátszott hanghoz képest.
Ez azt eredményezheti, hogy filmnézés vagy játék közben a hang
elcsúszhat a képhez képest.
• Az egység a BLUETOOTH szabványnak megfelelő biztonsági
lehetőségeket támogat, amelyek biztonságos kapcsolatot
tesznek lehetővé a BLUETOOTH vezeték nélküli technológia
használatakor, de a beállítástól függően lehet, hogy nem
elegendő a biztonság. Legyen körültekintő, amikor BLUETOOTH
vezeték nélküli technológia használatával kommunikál.
• Nem vállalunk felelősséget a BLUETOOTH-kommunikáció során
fellépő esetleges adatszivárgásért.
• Nem garantálható a kapcsolat minden BLUETOOTH eszközzel.
– A BLUETOOTH funkcióval rendelkező eszközöknek meg kell
felelniük a Bluetooth SIG, Inc. által meghatározott BLUETOOTH
szabványnak, és hitelesíteni kell azokat.
– Ha a csatlakoztatott eszköz meg is felel a fent említett
BLUETOOTH szabványnak, az eszköz jellemzőitől vagy műszaki
adataitól függően lehet, hogy néhány eszköz nem csatlakozik
vagy működik megfelelően.
– Kihangosítóval történő telefonálás közben az eszköztől vagy a
kommunikációs környezettől függően zaj fordulhat elő.
• A csatlakoztatni kívánt eszköztől függően a kommunikáció
elindulása eltarthat egy ideig.
Ha a hang gyakran megugrik a lejátszás során
• A helyzet javítható, p2-ha a hangminőség üzemmód beállításakor a
„stabil kapcsolat elsőbbsége” lehetőséget választja. További
részleteket a Súgóútmutatóban olvashat.
• A helyzet a vezeték nélküli lejátszás minőségi beállításainak
módosításával, vagy az átviteli eszközön a vezeték nélküli
lejátszás módjának SBC módban történő rögzítésével javítható.

útmutatóban olvashat.
• Ha okostelefont használ, a helyzet a szükségtelen alkalmazások
leállításával vagy az okostelefon újraindításával javítható.
Okostelefonos vagy számítógépes telefonalkalmazások
használata
• Ez az egység csak a normál bejövő hívásokat támogatja. Az
okostelefonos vagy számítógépes telefonalkalmazások nem
támogatottak.
Az egység töltése
• Az egység kizárólag USB használatával tölthető.
• Az egység nem kapcsolható be, illetve az eszköz BLUETOOTH és
zajszűrő funkciói sem használhatók töltés közben.
• A mellékelt fejhallgató-kábel csatlakoztatásával töltés közben is
használhatja az egységet.
• Ha hosszú ideig nem használja az egységet, előfordulhat, hogy
az újratölthető akkumulátor nem képes elegendő töltést
megőrizni. Az akkumulátor akkor lesz képes megfelelő töltést
megőrizni, p2-ha egymás után számos alkalommal lemeríti és
feltölti.
• Ha sokáig tárolja az egységet, cserélje ki az akkumulátort fél
évente egyszer, hogy megakadályozza a túlzott lemerülést.
• Ha az egység használati ideje különösen lerövidült, az
újratölthető akkumulátort cserélje le egy újra. Az akkumulátor
cseréjéhez vegye fel a kapcsolatot a legközelebbi Sony-
forgalmazóval.
Megjegyzés a sztatikus elektromosságról
• A testben felhalmozódott sztatikus elektromos töltés miatt
előfordulhat, hogy bizsergést érez a füleiben. Ez a hatás
természetes anyagokból készült ruhák viselésével csökkenthető.
Ha az egység nem működik megfelelően
• Állítsa alaphelyzetbe az egységet ( . ábra).
Töltés közben nyomja meg egyszerre a és az NC/AMBIENT
gombokat. A készülék ezzel alaphelyzetbe lesz állítva. A
párosítási információk nem törlődnek.
• Ha a probléma a fent leírt alaphelyzetbe állítás után is fennáll, a
következők szerint inicializálja az egységet.
Húzza ki a micro-USB kábelt a micro-USB csatlakozóból,
kapcsolja ki az egységet, majd tartsa egyszerre lenyomva a és
a NC/AMBIENT gombokat legalább 7 másodpercig. A jelzőfény
(kék) 4-szer felvillan, az egység pedig visszaáll a gyári
beállításokra. Az összes párosítási információ törlődik.
• Előfordulhat, hogy az egység az inicializálás után nem fog
kapcsolódni iPhone készülékéhez vagy számítógépéhez. Ebben
az esetben törölje az egység párosítási információit az iPhone
készülékről vagy számítógépről, majd próbálja őket újra
párosítani.
Mi a zajszűrés?
• A zajszűrő áramkör beépített mikrofonokkal érzékeli a külső zajt,
és azzal azonos, de ellentétes fázisú kioltó jelet küld az
egységnek.
– Nagyon csendes környezetben előfordulhat, hogy a zajszűrés
nem észlelhető, vagy kis zaj hallható.
– Attól függően, hogy hogyan viseli a készüléket, a zajszűrés
hatása változhat, vagy sípolás (búgás) lehet hallható. Ilyen
esetben vegye le, majd helyezze vissza a készüléket.
– A zajszűrő funkció elsősorban az alacsony frekvenciás sávban
működik. Bár csökkenti a zajt, de teljesen nem tudja
megszüntetni.
– Ha az egységet vonaton vagy autóban használja, az
útviszonyoktól függően zajt hallhat.
– A mobiltelefon zavarást vagy zajt okozhat. Ilyen esetben
helyezze messzebbre az egységet a mobiltelefontól.
– Ne takarja el a készülék mikrofonjait ( ) a kezével.
Elképzelhető, hogy ekkor a zajszűrő funkció vagy a környezeti
hang üzemmód nem működik megfelelően, vagy sípolás
(búgás) lehet hallható. Ilyen esetben vegye le a kezét a
készülék mikrofonjairól ( ábra).
Egyebek
• Ügyeljen arra, hogy ne csípje be az ujjait az egység
összehajtásakor.
• Ha az egységet vezetékes fejhallgatóként használja, csak a
mellékelt fejhallgató-kábelt használja. Győződjön meg róla, hogy
a fejhallgató-kábel megfelelően csatlakozik.
• Ha matricákat stb. ragaszt fel a vezérlőpanel érintésérzékelőjére,
előfordulhat, hogy az érzékelő nem fog megfelelően működni.
• Ne helyezze az egységet párás, poros vagy kormos helyre, ne
tegye ki gőz vagy közvetlen napfény hatásának. Ne hagyja
sokáig egy autóban az egységet. Ez meghibásodást okozhat.
• A BLUETOOTH eszköz a készülék használatának helyétől és a
rádióhullámok körülményeitől függően nem minden esetben
működik mobiltelefonokon.
• A nagy hangerő károsíthatja hallását.
• A közlekedés biztonsága érdekében vezetés és kerékpározás
közben ne használja.
• Ne használja az egységet olyan helyen, ahol veszélyes lehet, p2-ha
nem hallja a környezeti hangokat, például vasúti átjárókban és
peronokon, illetve építési területeken.
• Az egységre ne helyezzen súlyt és ne gyakoroljon nyomást, mert
hosszú tárolás esetén deformálódhat.
• Az egységet óvja az erős rázkódástól.
• Az egységet száraz, puha ruhával tisztítsa.
• A készüléket óvja a nedvességtől. A készülék nem vízálló.
Tartsa be az alábbi óvintézkedéseket.
– Ne ejtse bele a készüléket mosogatóba vagy más, vízzel teli
edénybe.
– Ne használja a készüléket párás helyeken és rossz időjárás
esetén, például esőben vagy hóban.
– Ne érje nedvesség a készüléket.
Ha nedves kézzel fogja meg a készüléket, vagy beteszi egy
nyirkos ruha zsebébe, akkor a készülék nedves lesz, és az
meghibásodáshoz vezethet.
• Ha rosszul érzi magát az egység használatát követően, azonnal
szüntesse be az egység használatát.
• Hosszabb ideig tartó tárolás vagy használat esetén a fülpárnák
minősége romolhat.
