Natural Vent Gas Stove
โ Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
โ WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
โข Do not try to light any appliance.
โข Do not touch any electrical switch; do
not use any phone in your building.
โข Immediately call your gas supplier
from a neighborโs phone. Follow the gas
supplierโs instructions.
โข If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the fire department.
โ Installation and service must be performed
by a qualified installer, service agency or
the gas supplier.
โ In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
a carbon monoxide (CO) detector shall
be installed in the same room as the
appliance.
WARNING: If the information in these
instructions is not followed exactly, a fire or
explosion may result causing property damage,
personal injury or loss of life.
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket,
permanently located, manufactured home or
mobile home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the types of gas
indicated on the rating plate. A conversion kit is
supplied with the appliance.
INSTALLER: Leave this manual with the appliance.
CONSUMER: Retain this manual for future reference.

Installation Requirements for the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY
A LICENSED MASTER OR JOURNEYMAN
PLUMBER OR GAS๎FITTER WHEN
INSTALLED IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF
MASSACHUSETTS.
MA Approval Code G3-0817-12
1. If there is not one already present, on each
floor level where there are bedroom(s),
a carbon monoxide detector and alarm
shall be placed in the living area outside
the bedroom(s). The carbon monoxide
detector shall comply with NFPA 720
(2005 Edition).
2. A carbon monoxide detector shall:
a) Be located in the room that houses the
appliance or equipment;
b) Be either hard-wired or battery
powered or both; and
c) Shall comply with NFPA 720 (2005
Edition).
3. A Product-approved vent terminal must
be used, and if applicable, a Product-
approved air intake must be used.
Installation shall be in strict compliance
with the manufacturerโs instructions. A
copy of the installation instructions must
remain with the appliance or equipment
at the completion of the installation.

SAFE INSTALLATION AND EFFICIENT, DEPENDABLE OPERATION
OF YOUR GAS STOVE. PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN
THEIR ENTIRETY AND MAKE THEM AVAILABLE TO ANYONE
USING OR SERVICING THIS APPLIANCE.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ALTER OR MODIFY THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THIS APPLIANCE OR ITS COMPONENTS. ANY

It is normal for smoke and odor to occur during
the initial stages of operation, depending upon
temperatures generated over time. This โcuringโ
condition can be alleviated by promoting fresh
