Operation
Battery Installation/Replacement
Using a coin or a screwdriver, turn the battery compartment cover a quarter turn to the left. Remove the
cover and install/replace the battery observing the proper polarity.
Taking Temperature Measurements
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the thermometer ON. The digital display will begin to indicate
temperature. If the display does not operate, replace the battery.
2. Press the oF/oC button to select the desired temperature units.
3. Place the sensor disk flat against the surface to be measured and read the temperature on the
display.
Considerations
๏‚ท For best results, the probe disk should be held flat against the surface and the surface are should
be free of any dirt or substance that will inhibit thermal contact.
๏‚ท The thermometer should not be placed inside any oven or microwave.
๏‚ท Remove the battery from the thermometer if it is not to be used for an extended time period.
