INTRODUCING THE VS SASSOON
3Q HAIRDRYER
Experience the premium salon quality standard in hair dryers with the dryer
that proves not all hot air is the same.
The VS Sassoon 3Q features a breakthrough EC Digital Motor technology to
dry smarter for ultra-fast drying & styling for the ultimate salon blow dry at
home.
ULTRA-FAST DRYING â 70% FASTER*
POWERED BY DIGITAL MOTOR TECHNOLOGY BEST FOR HAIR
PROTECTION - HEAVY DUTY â 10X LONGER MOTOR LIFE^
ABOUT ADVANCED SMART EC DIGITAL MOTOR TECHNOLOGY:
âą Most dryer motors use carbon brushes that wear out over time causing the mo-
tor to stop working. This next generation smart EC Digital Motor (also known as
Brushless) uses magnets & electronics to drive the motor, extending the life of the
dryer by 10x^.
âą Ultra âfast airïŹow delivers superior drying power to reduce drying time.
âą Lighter & quieter operation with patented noise reduction technology for up to
40% less noise.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
âą Wash, condition & towel dry your hair
âą Make sure the switch is set to the off (â0â) setting before plugging
into a suitable power outlet.
âą Use the high heat & high speed setting for initial drying or drying
thick, hard to dry hair.
âą Switch to the low speed setting as the hair begins to dry & for styling
& scrunch drying.
âą If your hair is very ïŹne & damaged, it may be best to use the low
heat setting.
âą To ïŹnish, use the cold shot button to rapidly cool the hair & set the
style in place.
CAUTION: Take care not to direct the airïŹow directly onto the skin
(e.g. scalp, neck ears, face, etc.) as hot air from the hairdryers can,
particularly if held too close, cause discomfort or even burns.
IMPORTANT: Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically
treated should only use the low heat settings on this product. Please
consult your hairdresser on using heated appliances if you have any
concerns about the condition of your hair.
ULTRA-FAST SMARTER
DRYING POWER
Up to 70%* faster controlled airïŹow to reduce
drying time, even when used on a lower
temperature to minimise heat damage.
QUIETONE NOISE
REDUCED
SpeciïŹcally designed air intake system for up to
40% less noise#.
EC DIGITAL MOTOR
New generation motor uses magnets & electronics
to drive the motor to deliver high velocity airïŹow &
heavy-duty long life performance (up to 5,000hrs
vs 500hrs for a standard AC motor dryer) for 10x
longer motor life^. Built to last salon performance
with a 5 year warranty.
FRIZZîFREE RESULTS
Ionic Conditioning System releases frizz controlling
active ions to eliminate static & dramatically
reduce frizz. Active ions surround the hair to
smooth hair & give an ultimate shine boost as you
dry.
CERAMIC
TECHNOLOGY
Generates full spectrum, infra-red heat which
works to help minimise heat damage with fewer
hot spots than a standard dryer for better long-
term protection of your hair & smooth styling
CONTROLLED STYLING
6 speed & heat combinations & true cold setting
with an ultra-slimline concentrator for precision,
styling & smoothing.
CONCENTRATOR Used to direct the airïŹow along the length of your
hair & help you to style with greater precision.
DIFFUSER Build life, volume & dry your natural curls.
Scrunch dry to create texture &loose waves.
THE ATTACHMENTS
Concentrator
Concentrator nozzles are designed to direct the airïŹow from your hair dryer to
just where you want it, to ease styling & straightening. Nozzles also help you
to direct the airïŹow along the length of the hair from roots to ends. This is
important because it helps to smooth the outer surface or cuticle of the hair
giving your hair style a smoother ïŹnish. For additional control try using one of
the lower speed setting with a higher heat.
Care should be taken not to direct the air ïŹow directly onto the skin (e.g. the
scalp, neck, ears & face). Never rest the concentrator nozzle on the hair & brush
to hold it in place! You should always leave a 2cm to 3cm gap between the end
of the nozzle & the hair around the brush.
Diffuser
The volumising diffuser attachment is designed to build life & volume into short
to medium length hair, for drying any length of naturally curly hair & for scrunch
drying to build & enhance curl in wavy & loose curly hair.
The diffuser works by softening the air ïŹow from the hairdryer & should always
be used on the lowest speed & heat setting to enable it to operate at its most
efïŹcient. Cup the weight of your hair into the bowl of the diffuser & cup the
edges of the diffuser with your free hand to prevent your hair blowing around.
IONIC CONDITIONING
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact with man-made
ïŹbers & air pollution add to the build-up of static electricity in your hair. Even
simply brushing & towel-drying your hair can increase these levels. This static
charge causes the scales, or cuticles of the hair, to push hair strands apart, resulting
in a rough hair surface. Consequently, your hair may have a dull appearance.
High levels of static charge cause your hair to become âïŹyawayâ & difïŹcult to
style. The advanced internal ionic generator conditions hair by emitting frizz
controlling active negative ions to reduce static, leaving your hair silky & shiny
with reduced frizz.

STYLE TIPS
STRAIGHT
// Create a smooth straight look by using your dryer with the ultra-slim
concentrator nozzle. Divide your hair into sections & hold the hair taut
using a brush whilst directing the airïŹow down the hair shaft.
VOLUME
// Create tousled natural-looking waves with lots of volume by using your
dryer without the nozzle. Flip your head upside down.
Grasp your hair at the roots & scrunch between your ïŹngertips
whilst drying. When dry, ïŹnger comb to arrange your hair as required.
Remember to keep it casual & tousled for maximum volume.
CURLS
// Enhance your natural curls by using your dryer with the diffuser on
the lowest speed setting & lowest heat setting: it literally diffuses &
softens the airïŹow, which helps to form, not frizz, your curls.
EXPERT TIP
// Set your style by ïŹnishing with the cold shot or setting.
Finish with a spritz of light hold hair spray, for extra hold if needed.

CORD STORAGE
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. After use NEVER wrap the cord tightly
around the dryer as this creates stress on the internal cord wires at the high ïŹex
point of entry, causing it to rupture & short circuit. Coil cord loosely by the side
of the appliance in storage.
STORAGE
Unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning. Ensure that the
appliance is switched off & has cooled down before storing.
USER MAINTENANCE
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dryer to overheat. The rear
ïŹlter should be checked & cleaned on a regular basis. To help maintain optimum
performance & prevent overheating of your hairdryer:
âą Ensure that your styler is switched off, unplugged from the power outlet & has
cooled down.
âą Holding the handle of your styler ïŹrmly, twist & pull the rear ïŹlter down to
remove.
âą Using a soft brush, clean any hair & other debris that may build up in the ïŹlter.
âą Replace the rear ïŹlter by pushing & twisting back into position.
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the dryer or the heat
off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the dryer or heat turns off, unplug
the cord & allow the dryer to cool for 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure
the air vents are 100% clean.
