Remote Control RC-22

Description

The RC-22 remote control is designed to work with

Jablotron’s controllers (UC-216, UC-222, UC-230) and/or the

JA-60 & 65 wireless security systems. It can be used in two

different modes: a two button remote controller or as a panic

button.

A high level of radio security is insured by sophisticated

radio coding with a rolling code. The red LED located at the

upper left corner of the RC-22 indicates activation of the

controller.

Installation

Open the plastic cover (see Fig.1). Install the remote control in

the desired location. You can use either screws, double sided

adhesive tape or glue.

Note: Do not install the RC-22 on a metal surface. This could

lead to significant reduction of the working distance.

Enrolling the RC-22 to the receiver

First read carefully the receiver unit instruction manual

(receiver UC-216 or UC-222, control panel JA-60 etc.). Select the

learning mode on the receiver and then activate the RC-22 remote

control by pushing the button.

Enrollment remarks:

�Receiver modules UC-216, UC-222 and UC-230 can operate

in several different modes. Select the desired mode when

enrolling the RC-22 (button A or B) to define the reaction of

the receiver to the RC-22’s intended use.

�To enroll the RC-22 into the JA-60 control panel you should

first select the learning mode on JA-60. Then, you have to

remove the RC-22’s plastic cover and simultaneously press

both buttons (A and B) for approximately 5 seconds. The

RC-22 is usually used with the JA-60 system as a panic

button (see bellow)

�You can enroll a RC-22 to multiple receiving units. This way

you can operate several devices simultaneously.

�Each RC-22 transmits its own unique identification code. If

you want to use multiple remote controls with a receiver,

enroll all of the remote controls one by one.

Panic button mode

The factory default setting of the

RC-22 is for a two channel remote

control. This means that pressing the

button on one or the other side initiates

the corresponding transmission of one of

the two different codes (tact switches A

or B inside). This way you can operate

different devices.

Additionally, the RC-22 remote

control can also work as a panic

button. In this mode the pressing of

any button will cause a special panic

signal transmission. This signal is

mostly used by JA-60 & 65 wireless

systems for silent panic alarm initiation.

How to switch to the panic button mode:

1. open the cover and take out the battery

2. press and hold pressed any of the tact switches (A or B)

3. while holding the tact switch, insert the battery

4. wait for 2 flashes of the LED indicator (indicates

successful switching to the panic mode)

5. release the tact switch

Now the remote control is in the panic mode. The mode will

remain unchanged even after battery replacement.

Note: The RC-22 panic buton must be located in an area

which is protected by an intruder detector with instant reaction.

To cancel the panic button mode you have to repeat the

above mentioned sequence (steps 1 - 5). The remote control

will confirm the switching to standard mode by a single flash of

the LED in the 4th step.

Battery replacement

The battery life time in the remote control is typically one

year. After this period you should replace the battery with a

new one (type L1016).

The RC-22 requires no other specific maintenance. The

product should not be exposed to water. Do not use any

organic solvent for cleaning.

Note: Dispose of batteries safely depending on the type of

the batteries and local regulation. Although this product does not

contain any harmful materials we suggest you to return the

product to the dealer or directly to the producer after usage.

Trasmettitore RC-22

Descrizione

Il trasmettitore RC-22 è progettato per lavorare con le

centrali Jablotron (UC-216, UC-222, UC-230) e/oppure con i

sistemi di sicurezza senza fili JA-60, 63 e 65. Può essere

usato in due modi diversi: trasmettitore a due pulsanti oppure

come pulsante antipanico.

Un’alto livello di sicurezza è assicurato dal sofisticato

codice radio con codice variabile. La luce rossa situata

nell’angolo superiore sinistro del RC-22 indica l’attivazione del

trasmettitore.

Installazione

Aprire il coperchio di plastica (vedere fig.1). Installare il

trasmettitore nella posizione desiderata. Si può utilizzare a piacere

viti, nastro adesivo bi-incollante o colla.

Note: Non installare l’RC-28 su superficie metalliche. Questo

potrebbe ridurne la distanza di lavoro.

Apprendimento del trasmettitore RC-22

Prima leggere attentamente il manuale d’istruzioni del

trasmettitore (trasmettitori UC-216 o UC-222, centrale JA-60 ecc.).

Selezionare la modalità apprendimento nel trasmettitore e poi

attivare il trasmettitore RC-22 premendo il pulsante.

Osservazioni autoapprendimento:

�I trasmettitori UC-216, UC-222 e UC-230 possono operare in

diversi modi. Selezionare la modalità desiderata quando si

esegue l’autoapprendimento nel RC-22 (pulsante A o B) per

definire la reazione del trasmettitore.

�Per apprendere l’RC-22 nella centrale JA-60 bisogna prima

selezionare la modalità nell’unità JA-60. Quindi, rimuovere il

coperchio e simultaneamente pigiare i pulsanti (A e B) per

circa 5 secondi. Normalmente l’RC-22 è usato con il sistema

JA-60 come pulsante di antipanico (vedere sotto)

�È possibile apprendere l’RC-22 per multipli trasmettitori. In

questo modo diversi apparecchiature possono operare

simultaneamente.

�Ciascun RC-22 trasmette il suo esclusivo codice

identificativo. Se si desidera usare multipli trasmettitori con il

ricevitore, apprendere tutti i trasmettitori singolarmente.

Modalità pulsante antipanico

Di costruzione il default del’RC-22 è

un bicanale. Questo significa che

premendo il pulsante in una o l’altra

parte (su o giù) inizia la trasmissione

corrispondente di uno dei due differenti

codici (microinteruttori A o B all’interno).

In questo modo è possibile operare

diverse apparecchiature.

In aggiunta, il trasmettitore RC-22

può anche funzionare come pulsante

antipanico. In questa modalità

premendo qualsiasi pulsante delle

causerà la trasmissione di un segnale

speciale di antipanico. Questo segnale

e per lo più usato dai sistemi senza filo,

JA-60, 63 e 65, per dare inizio

all’allarme di antipanico silenzioso.

Come usare la modalità pulsante antipanico:

1. aprire il pannello e rimuovere le batterie

2. premere e tenere premuto qualsiasi dei micropulsanti (A

o B)

3. mentre si tengono premuti i micropulsanti, inserire le

batterie

4. attendere per i 2 lampeggi dell’indicatore LED (indica il

cambiamento nella modalità antipanico)

5. rilasciare il micropulsante

Ora il trasmettitore è nella modalità antipanico. La modalità

rimarrà tale anche dopo la sostituzione delle batterie.

Per cancellare la modalità antipanico ripetere i passaggi

sopra descritti (passaggi da 1 a 5). Il trasmettitore confermerà

il cambiamento alla modalità normale con un singolo

lampeggio del LED nel 4° passaggio.

Sostituzione batterie

La durata delle batterie nel trasmettitore è tipicamente di 1

anno. Trascorso questo periodo bisogna sostituire le batterie

(tipo L1016).

L’unità RC-22 non richiede altre manutenzioni specifiche. Il

prodotto non deve essere esposto all’acqua. Non usare

solventi organici per la pulizia.

Popis

Bezdrátový plošný ovlada RC-22 je za ízení ur ené   

k dálkovému ovládání výrobk firmy Jablotron (UC-216,

UC-222, UC-230, JA-60 a JA-65). Výrobek mže být použit

jako dvoutla   ítkový ovláda , nebo jako tís ového tla ítko

(speciální provozní režim).

RC-22 vysílá rádiový signál kódovaný systémem

plovoucího kódu, což zaru  uje vysokou bezpe nost (za ízení

nelze obelstít kopií již užitého signálu).

V levém horním rohu tla  ítka je umíst na indika ní LED,

která indikuje aktivaci ovlada e.

shod se základními požadavky a dalšími píslušnými

ustanoveními sm rnice 1999/5/ES (NV . 426/2000Sb.). Originál  

Montáž:

Upozornní: ovlada nemontujte na kovové pedmty (mohou

negativn ovlivnit pracovní dosah).

� otevete víko ovladae (slabým šroubovákem jej odmá-

knte v míst otoného epu - viz obr. 1) 

� ovlada namontujte na vybrané místo; lze p ipevnit pomocí 

vrut (i na elektroinstalaní krabici), nebo pilepit

Piazení ovladae k pijímai:

Prostudujte si nejprve manuál pijímací jednotky (modul UC,

ústedna JA-60 atd.). Potom pijímací jednotku uvete do u ícího 

režimu a aktivujte ovláda RC-22. Podrobnosti o piazování

naleznete v manuálu pijímací jednotky.

Poznámky k piazení ovladae:

�pijímací jednotky UC-216, UC-222, UC-230 mají r zné 

druhy ( ísla) u ících režim  . Nauením tlaítka ovladae (A

nebo B) do vybraného režimu definujeme, jak bude pijíma

pozdji na stisk tohoto tlaítka reagovat.

�k ústedn systému JA-60 se ovlada RC-22 p i azuje tak,

že p i zapnutém u ícím režimu úst  edny stisknete a podržíte

ob tlaítka ovladae (A i B) po dobu cca 5sec. (kryt

ovladae musí být oteven). S úst ednou JA-60 se ovlada 

užívá obvykle v režimu tísového tlaítka (viz. další popis).

�ovlada RC-22 m že být sou asn  p iazen i více

�každý ovlada RC-22 generuje svj vlastní unikátní

identifikaní kód, podle kterého jej pijíma jednoznan

rozezná. Pokud chcete k pijímai piadit více ovlada,

musíte každý ovláda nauit samostatn. Na signál jiného,

nenaueného ovladae nebude pijíma reagovat.

Režim tís ového tla ítka 

Ovlada RC-22 je z výroby 

nastaven tak, že p i stisku tla ítka A  

nebo B (stisknutím hmatníku na jednu

  i druhou stranu) vyšle dv r zné

instrukce. Tak m že být ovlada užit

s p ijíma i ady k ovládání    UC

spot ebi i jiných za ízení.   

Ovlada   však m že pracovat

v . V tomto režimu tís ového tla ítka 

režimu stisknutí hmatníku na jednu i

druhou stranu vyšle speciální tísový

signál. Tento režim je uren zejména

pro použití v bezdrátovém systému

JA-60 (65) pro vyvolání tichého

tís ového poplachu. Postup p epnutí 

ovláda   e do režimu tís ového tla ítka je následující:

1. otev  ete ovlada a vyjm te jeho baterii

2. stiskn te a držte stisknuté jedno z tla ítek (A nebo B)

3. tlaítko držte stále stisknuté a zapojte baterii

4. cca po 3 sekundách blikne 2x LED ovladae (potvrzuje

p epnutí do režimu tís ového tla ítka)  

5. uvoln te tla ítko

Od tohoto okamžiku je ovlada v režimu tís ového tla ítka a  

z stane v n m i po pípadné vým n  baterie.

Upozornní: Tísové tlaítko RC-22 musí být

v zabezpe eném prostoru chrán no sníma em s nastavenou 

okamžitou reakcí.

Zrušit režim tísového tla ítka je možné zopakováním

výše uvedeného postupu (kroky 1 až 5). Ovlada potvrdí

p echod do základního režimu jedním bliknutím LED(v kroku 4). 

Vým na baterie a údržba: 

Životnost baterie v ovlada i je cca 1 rok. Po této dob 

doporu ujeme baterii vym nit za kvalitní novou (typ L1016).

Ovlada nevyžaduje žádnou údržbu. Chra te jej p ed  

vlhkostí a p ed organickými rozpoušt dly.

Poznámka: Po použití baterie (akumulátor) nevhazujte do

koše, ale odevzdejte do sb rného místa. Výrobek, a koliv

neobsahuje žádné škodlivé materiály, nevyhazujte do

odpadk  , ale p edejte prodejci nebo p ímo výrobci.

Fjärrkontroll RC-22 (S)

Beskrivning

RC-22 är konstruerad för att användas tillsammans med

Jablotron’s signalmottagare (UC-216, UC-222) och/eller

larmsystem JA-60. RC-22 kan användas två olika sätt, som två

knappars fjärrkontroll eller som panikbrytare.

En hög nivå på säkerheten garanteras genom sofistikerad

radiokodning med flytande koder och antiscannings funktion.

Installation

Öppna fjärrkontrollens vippbrytare (se Fig.1). Montera

fjärrkontrollen på vald plats med de medföljande skruvarna eller

dubbelhäftande tape.

Obs: Montera EJ RC-22 på ytor av metall, det kan påverka

sändningen negativt

Inlärning av RC-22 till signalmottagare

Förbered dig med att läsa installationsmanualen till aktuell

mottagare ( UC-216 eller UC-222, centralenhet JA-60 etc.). Välj

inlärningsläge på signalmottagaren, aktivera därefter fjärrkontroll

RC-22 genom att trycka och hålla in någon av dess knappar.

Inställningar:

�Signalmottagare UC-216 och UC-222 har flera olika

funktionsmöjligheter. Välj aktuell funktion vid inlärning av RC-

22 (knapp A eller B) för att definiera mottagarens reaktion på

signaler från fjärrkontroll RC-22.

�För inlärning av RC-22 till centralenhet JA-60, väljer du

inlärningsläge i centralnheten JA-60. Tag därefter av

vippbrytaren från fjärrkontrollen RC-22, tryck och håll in båda

knapparna (A and B) i ca 5 sekunder. RC-22 används som

panikbrytare i larmsystem JA-60 (se nedan)

�Man kan använda RC-22 till flera signalmottagare samtidigt.

Detta gör att man kan utföra flera funktioner med en RC-22.

�Varje RC-22 sänder sin egna unika kod. Om man önskar

flera RC-22 till en motagare måste alla läras in en efter en.

Inställning som panikkontakt

Funktionen i RC-22 är

fabriksinställd till två knappars

fjärrkontroll. Med denna funktion sänds

olika signal om man trycker på

vippbrytarens övre eller nedre del

(knapp A eller B). På detta sätt kan

man utföra flera funktioner.

RC-22 kan dessutom användas

som panikkontakt, i denna funktion

sänds en speciell paniksignal

oberoende av vilken del av

vippbrytaren som trycks på. Denna

funktion används när man t.ex. sänder

paniklarm till centralenhet JA-60.

Omställning till panikkontakt funktion:

1. Tag bort vippbrytaren och tag ur batteriet

2. Tryck och håll in knapp (A eller B)

3. Håll knappen intryckt och sätt tillbaka batteriet.

4. Håll knappen intryckt tills det blinkar 2 gånger i LED

lampan (detta bekräftar omställningen till panik funktion)

5. Släpp knappen och sätt tillbaka vippbrytaren.

Nu är fjärrkontrollen i panik funktion. Denna funktion

behålls även vid batteri byte.

För att avbryta panikfunktionen och återgå till

tvåknappars funktion gör om ovanstående instruktion (steg 1

- 5). Fjärrkontrollen kommer vid steg 4 att blinka 4 gånger för

att bekräfta ändringen till tvåknappars funktion.

Batteri byte

Batteriet livslängd i fjärrkontrollen är ca 1 år. Efter denna tid

skall batteriet ersättas med ett nytt. När det nya batteriet är

installerat tryck på knapp A eller B vilket får lampan att kraftigt

blinka och bekräfta att batteriet är korrekt installerat, (denna

blinkning kommer enbart att ske de 10 första tryckningarna

efter batteri byte). Alla övriga knapp tryckningar kommer att

bekräftas med en svag blinkning för (energi spar funktion).

RC-22 kräver inget regelbundet underhåll, men skall ej

utsättas för väta eller tvättas med starka rengöringsmedel.

Tänk på att använda batterier ska lämnas till batteri återvinning!
