WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING
OPERATIONS.
Fitting the Cartridge Filter - Vacuuming Dry Matter
The cartridge lter should come pre-assembled onto the vacuum unit.
However it is still a good idea to check that it has not come loose
during transport and is still properly tted before use.
For dry vacuum cleaning always
use the cartridge lter. Mount
the lter so that no air is sucked
through the lter cage without
rst being ltered.
1. Press the at end of the
cartridge lter onto the lter
cage until it is stopped by the
step in the lid part.
2. Place the lter lid on the
bottom of the lter and turn
the handle clockwise to lock it
into place.
3. To remove the lter, turn the lter lid handle anti-clockwise to
release it. Remove both the lter lid and cartridge lter.
NOTE: Do not use the foam lter when vacuuming dry matter.
Fitting the Foam Filter - Vacuuming Liquid
For wet-vacuuming, slip the
supplied foam lter over the lter
cage.
NOTE: Do not use the cartridge
lter when vacuuming liquid.
WARNING! SWITCH OFF THE EQUIPMENT IF LIQUID
OR FOAM IS EMITTED WITH THE EXHAUST AIR
WHEN WET VACUUM CLEANING.
WARNING! THE WET & DRY VACUUM IS NOT
SUITABLE FOR THE VACUUMING OF COMBUSTIBLE
LIQUIDS.
WARNING! WHEN WET VACUUMING, THE
SAFETY FLOAT STOPS THE VACUUM SUCTION
AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY
IS REACHED. TURN OFF THE VACUUM & EMPTY
THE TANK BEFORE CONTINUING TO VACUUM.
Draining Liquids From The Tank
Spills and puddles can be vacuumed directly into the tank with the
foam lter tted for easy clean up and disposal.
Note: When vacuuming large quantities of liquid, do not immerse the
nozzle completely into the liquid, leave a gap at the nozzle/tool to
allow air inow.
1. Hold the vacuum over a laundry sink or household drain.
Note: Only dispose of liquid waste into household sinks & drains
if safe to do so. Improper disposal of hazardous waste can cause
pollution and harm.
2. Turn the drain outlet cap
anti-clockwise to loosen and
remove it.
3. Allow any collected liquid
in the tank to ow out.
Tip the vacuum slightly
to allow any liquid at the
bottom of the tank to ow
out too.
4. Rinse out the tank if
necessary and replace the
drain outlet cap.
