WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING
OPERATIONS.
Fitting the Pleated Filter - Vacuuming Dry Matter
For dry vacuum cleaning always
use the pleated lter. Mount the
pleated lter, so that no air is
sucked through the lter cage
without being ltered.
1. Press the open end of the
pleated lter onto the lter
cage.
2. To remove the lter, grasp the
hard plastic base of the lter
and pull it o the lter cage.
NOTE: Do not use the foam lter when vacuuming dry matter.
Fitting the Foam Filter - Vacuuming Liquid
For wet-vacuuming, slip the
supplied foam lter over the lter
cage.
NOTE: Do not use the pleated
lter and/or dust bag when
vacuuming liquid.
WARNING! SWITCH OFF THE EQUIPMENT IF LIQUID
OR FOAM IS EMITTED WITH THE EXHAUST AIR
WHEN WET VACUUM CLEANING.
WARNING! THE WET & DRY VACUUM IS NOT
SUITABLE FOR THE VACUUMING OF COMBUSTIBLE
LIQUIDS.
Fitting a Dust Bag - Vacuuming Dry Matter
For vacuuming ne, dry dirt it is recommended that you t a 35 litre
dust bag. This will ensure that the pleated lter does not clog up so
quickly and help maintain the vacuuming power. A dust bag is suitable
for dry vacuuming only. Using the dust bag makes it easier to dispose
of the dust that has been collected.
1. To attach, slip the dust bag
over the vacuum inlet on the
inside of the tank.
Draining Liquids From The Tank
Spills and puddles can be vacuumed directly into the tank with the
addition of the foam lter for easy clean up and disposal.
1. Hold the vacuum over a laundry sink or household drain.
Note: Only dispose of liquid waste into household sinks & drains
if safe to do so. Improper disposal of hazardous waste can cause
pollution and harm.
2. Turn the drain outlet cap
anti-clockwise to loosen and
remove it.
3. Allow any collected liquid in the tank to ow out. Tip the vacuum
slightly to allow any liquid at the bottom of the tank to ow out too.
4. Replace the drain outlet cap and rinse out the tank if necessary.
2. FILTER SELECTION 3. WASTE DISPOSAL
WARNING! NEVER USE THE WET AND DRY VACUUM
CLEANER WITHOUT A FILTER. ALWAYS ENSURE
