it ISTRUZIONI GENERALI PER LA SICUREZZA

• Nei casi in cui la spina, il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso

risultino danneggiati, o in presenza di danni visibili o perdite di acqua

dall’apparecchio, non mettete in funzione il ferro da stiro. In tali casi

dovrà essere controllato dal personale autorizzato Hotpoint-Ariston, al

nedievitaresituazionipericolose.

• Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio sia caduto non mettetelo in funzione.

• Non è previsto che l’apparecchio venga utilizzato da persone (bambini

compresinoa8anni)conridottecapacitàsiche,sensorialiomentali,

da persone inesperte o che non abbiano familiarità con il prodotto, a

meno che non vengano sorvegliate da una persona responsabile del-

la loro sicurezza o non abbiano ricevuto istruzioni preliminari sull’uso

dell’apparecchio.

• Ibambinidevonoesseresorvegliatiafnchénongiochinoconl’appa-

recchio.

• Quando la spina è inserita nella presa elettrica, non lasciate mai l’ap-

parecchio incustodito.

• Dopo ogni utilizzo dell’apparecchio, durante le fasi di riempimento e

svuotamento del serbatoio dell’acqua, nonché durante le operazioni

di pulizia, impostate il regolatore di vapore in posizione Off; quindi col-

locate l’apparecchio in posizione stabile, utilizzando l’apposita base di

appoggio, e scollegate la spina dalla presa elettrica.

• L’apparecchiodeveessereutilizzatoecollocatosopraunasupercie

stabile, piana e orizzontale. Si consiglia l’utilizzo di un asse da stiro.

• Per la vostra sicurezza, ogni eventuale riparazione o intervento sull’ap-

parecchio deve essere eseguito esclusivamente dal personale autoriz-

zato Hotpoint-Ariston.

• Tenete l’apparecchio e il cavo elettrico fuori dalla portata dei bambini di

età inferiore agli 8 anni quando il ferro è collegato alla presa elettrica o

quando si sta raffreddando.

• La pulizia del prodotto e la sua manutenzione non devono essere effet-

tuate da bambini senza supervisione.

• Quando il ferro viene appoggiato utilizzando l’apposita base di appog-

gio,assicuratevichesiacollocatosuunasuperciestabile.

• La spina deve essere rimossa dalle presa elettrica prima di riempire il

serbatoio con l’acqua.

en GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not operate the iron in case of damaged plug, power cord or

appliance, or in the presence of visible damage or water leaks from

the appliance. In such a case the appliance must be inspected by

the Hotpoint authorized technical staff in order to avoid dangerous

situations.

• If the appliance was dropped, do not operate it.

• The appliance is not intended to be used by individuals (children

includedupto8yearsofage)withimpairedphysical,sensoryormental

capabilities, inexpert individuals or individuals who are not familiar with

the product, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety, or by individuals who have not received preliminary instructions

on the use of the appliance.

• Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

• Never leave the appliance unattended when the plug is connected into

the electrical socket.

• Aftereachuseoftheappliance,whenllingandemptyingthewater

reservoir, as well as when cleaning the appliance, set the steam

regulator to Off. Then place the appliance in a stable position, using the

stand, and disconnect the plug from the electrical socket.

• The appliance must be used and placed on a stable, at horizontal

surface. The use on an ironing board is recommended.

• For your safety, all repairs or maintenance operations must be carried

out exclusively the the Hotpoint authorized technical staff.

• Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of

age when it is energized or cooling down.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without

supervision.

• When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the

stand is placed is stable.

• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water

reservoirislledwithwater.

• This steam iron is equipped with the safety device Power off system.

When the plug has been connected, move the iron to switch it on.
