Ifyouareunabletocorrecttheleakbytightening

anemptygascylindertoafullonemakesure

obstructionstogasow.
Ifre-ignitionisnecessarywhiletheapplianceis
stillhot,youmustwaitforaminimumof
5minutesbeforecommencingtore-ignite

Preheating
Itmaybenecessarytopreheattheappliancefor
atleast15minutesbeforecookingcertainfoods,
dependingonthetypeoffoodandthecooking
temperature.Foodthatrequiresalowcooking
temperature,needsashorterperiodofpreheating
Cooking Temperatures
‘HIGH’setting-Usethissettingonlyforfastwarm
upandforsearingsteaksandchops.Rarely,if
ever,doyouusethe‘HIGH’settingforextended
cooking.
‘MEDIUM’setting(mid-waybetween‘HIGH’
and‘LOW’).Usethissettingformostgrilling,and
forcookinghamburgersandvegetables.
‘LOW’setting-Usethissettingwhencookingvery
leancutssuchassh.
Thesetemperaturesvarywithoutsidetemperature
andtheamountofwind.

Thistypeofreisknownas‘FLASH-BACK’and
cancauseseriousdamagetoyourbarbecueand
createanunsafeoperatingconditionfortheuser.
Althoughanobstructedburnertubeisnottheonly
causeof‘FLASH-BACK’itisthemostcommon
causeandfrequentinspectionandcleaningofthe
burnertubesisnecessary.

Ifreoccursinandaroundtheburner,
immediatelyturnoffgasatitssourceandturnthe
burnercontrolto‘OFF’,waituntilthebarbecuehas
cooled,thencleantheburnertubesandburner
ports.Theopeningsatthebaseoftheburner

In the case of balconies, at least 20% of the
total wall area shall be and remain open and
unrestricted.
