Please read theîentire instruction manual before using and save it for future use. We apologise for

Theîproduct is rated IP44 and is suitable for outdoor use. Installation should only be carried out
by aîqualiïŹed electrician. Do not use aîmore powerful bulb than theîlight ïŹtting is intended for.
Theîlight should be connected to anîearthed 230 V power point. For best results and your own
safety, we kindly ask you to follow these instructions carefully. Do not try to modify theîproduct in
any way.
Positioning
When choosing aîplace to mount theîlight it is important to see that theîlight is not more than
± 4° from theîhorizontal lengthways (see ïŹg. A). Theîlight must NOT be fastened to or pointed
towards aîïŹammable surface. (see ïŹgs. B and C).
Installation
Installation should only be carried out by aîqualiïŹed electrician.
Before beginning any electrical work, make sure that theîelectric cables are not live by turning off
theîpower and theîrespective fuse for theîcircuit.
1. Use theîwall bracket as aîtemplate for marking out theîscrew holes. Use aî8 mm drill bit and
drill to aîdepth of about 4 cm. Mount theîwall bracket using suitable screws and wall plugs.
Attach theîlight temporarily to theîbracket. If you are working from below theîlight, it might be
easier to attach theîlight upside down whilst completing step 2 and 3, below.
2. Remove theîcover plate from theîconnection box on theîback of theîlight and feed in theîpower
cable through theîcable gland in theîbottom of theîconnection box. Pass theîcable under
theîcable clamp and connect theîcable to theîterminal block as follows:

3. Tighten theîcable clamp/strain relief and then theîcable gland for aîwatertight seal. It might
be necessary to apply aîsealant to help stop moisture from getting into theîlight ïŹtting.
REMARKS
If you have turned theîlight upside down it is now time to turn it theîright way up. Make sure
that theîcable enters theîlight ïŹtting from below. If necessary, make aîU-bend in theîcable
before it enters theîlight ïŹtting.
4. Insert theîlight bulb as follows: Undo theîscrews on theîtop of theîlight and open theîfront.
Insert theîbulb in theîspring-loaded bulb holder and make sure that theîbulb makes aîgood
contact with theîterminals. Do not touch any part of theîbulb with your bare hands. If theîbulb
should accidentally touch your hands it must be cleaned using methanol and aîlint-free cloth.
Close theîlamp cover and tighten theîscrews. Do not tighten theîcover too much, theîglass
might crack.
5. Adjusting theîbeam angle: undo theînuts on theîside, adjust theîlight beam to theîdesired
angle and tighten theînuts again.
6. Replace theîfuse and turn theîpower back on.
Warning: Do not touch theîlight until it has cooled down.
