USING THE TRIMMER WITHOUT
THE COMB GUIDE
1. The trimmer blades can be used to edge and
detail or to get a much closer cut.
2. To remove a comb guide, gently press up on
the back of the comb to release it from the back
of the blade (see Fig. 5).
3. Lift the comb away (see Fig 6).
GETTING STARTED
OUTLINING YOUR BEARD
1. It is always best to begin with a clean, slightly
damp beard (NOT WET).
2. After you have combed through your beard in
the direction it grows naturally, you will want to
outline the desired shape, beginning under your
jawline.
3. Begin defining your beard’s shape under your
chin and work upward on each side of your face
toward your ears. Then define the upper outline
of your beard across your cheeks, past your
sideburns, and toward your hairline.
TRIMMING YOUR BEARD
1. The trimmer includes a 5-position comb for
use with the hair trimming blade (2–10mm),
which provides lengths of 3/32" (shortest) to 3/8"
(longest).
2. To use the 5-position comb, slide the unit over
the trimmer blade and snap it down into position.
At first, until you become familiar with the
adjustments, use the longest trim setting
ATTACHING THE COMB GUIDES
TO THE TRIMMER
1. Slide the trimmer blade into the space under
the comb guide (see Fig. 1).
2. Click the guide into position by gently pressing
the back of the guide down onto the back of the
blade (see Fig. 2).
3. The comb guide should click under the back of
the metal blade.
5-POSITION COMB GUIDE
1. Slide the trimmer blade into the space under
the comb guide (see Fig. 3).
2. Click the guide into position by gently pressing
the tail of the guide down onto the back of the
blade (see Fig. 4).
3. The comb guide should be clicked under the
back of the metal blade.
4. To remove the 5-position comb guide, push up
the comb attachment to release.

MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
OILING THE BLADES
(OIL NOT INCLUDED)
1. Oil the trimmer blades once a month.
2. Turn the trimmer ON.
3. Hold and point the blades downward.
4. Spread one drop of oil across the blades.
5. Turn the trimmer OFF and wipe away any
excess oil.
NOTE:
1. Do not over-oil the blades, as this can damage
the motor.
2. Do not oil the motor bearing, as it is
permanently lubricated.
3. KEEP OIL AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
REMOVING THE BLADE SET
1. Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
2. Place your thumb against the smaller cutter
and push up to remove the blade set.
REPLACING THE BLADE SET
1. Make sure the trimmer is
in the OFF position.
2. Align the back prong of
the trimmer blade with the
guide slot on the trimmer
housing, place your thumb
on top of the blade, and
snap into place.

Before using the USB charging cord, read the
instructions carefully. Use supplied USB charging
cord. Connect the USB cord to a computer or USB
adapter with 5.0V DC, 1000mA output.
CAUTION
1. Ensure type C USB cord is plugged into the
trimmer unit before plugging the adapter into the
outlet.
2. Do not operate any appliance that has a damaged
output cord or housing.
3. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or when
not in use.
4. Dry location use only. Do not expose to liquids,
vapor, or rain.
TRIMMER OPERATING
PRECAUTIONS
This trimmer has a built-in rechargeable
lithium-ion battery. Do not throw into fire, apply
heat, or charge, use, or leave in a high-temperature
environment.
CAUTION: Any changes or modifications
not expressly approved by Conair LLC, the
manufacturer of this product and the party
responsible for compliance, could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your rechargeable trimmer does not seem to be
taking a charge, take the following troubleshooting
steps before returning it for repair:
1. Be sure the electrical outlet is working by
plugging in another appliance to test the outlet.
2. Make sure the electrical outlet is not connected
to a switch that turns power off when lights are
turned off.
3. Make sure the type C USB cord is inserted into the
trimmer properly and all the connections are secure.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING/CORDLESS OPERATION
1. Before using the trimmer for the first time,
charge continuously for 3 hours. Maximum
battery capacity will be reached only after 3
charging and discharging cycles.
2. To charge the trimmer, first make sure it is
switched off. Insert the type C USB cord into
the bottom of the trimmer, then insert the USB
cord into the USB adapter with output 5.0V DC,
1000mA. Plug the adapter into any wall outlet
at the voltage listed on the label affixed to the
adapter. Unplug adapter when not in use.
3. The adapter may become warm while charging.
This is normal.
4. Once the appliance is fully charged, the
charging light will stop flashing, but remain on.
Unplug the adapter from the outlet, then the
appliance, and prepare for use.
NOTE: As an extra safety feature, this trimmer
is designed to not operate while charging.
5. A full charge will supply 60 minutes of cordless
runtime.
6. To maintain optimum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, it is highly recommended to
fully discharge and then recharge the trimmer for
3 hours every 6 months.
WARNING: If the charging light suddenly starts
to flash rapidly, the appliance is faulty. If this
happens, stop charging, remove the adapter from
the outlet and contact our Customer Care Center
for further advice (see the Warranty section of this
information booklet).
TRIMMER CHARGING
PRECAUTIONS
• Avoid charging the battery at temperatures
below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C).
• Avoid charging the battery in direct sunlight or
near a radiating heat source.
(you can always go back and make your beard a
little shorter).
3. Begin trimming your beard using smooth,
even strokes. Start with your sideburns and work
downward toward your chin (never attempt to trim
against the natural growth of your beard because
the hair will be cut too short).
4. If you decide you want a closer trim, you can
now adjust the 5-position comb attachment to
a shorter setting (such as 3/32" or 5/32") and
go over your beard again until you achieve the
desired length.
TRIMMING YOUR MUSTACHE
1. Start with a clean, slightly damp mustache
(NOT WET).
2. Comb through your mustache in the direction
it grows.
3. Start with the 5-position attachment comb on
the longest setting, as you can always go back
and shorten the length as desired.
4. Trim your mustache from the top down; finish
by outlining the bottom of your mustache.
BLENDING THE JAWLINE
1. The three jawline attachments will help you to
achieve a neat, finished trim under your chin. To
use one of the attachments, press it down over
the trimmer blade until it clicks into position.
2. Hold the trimmer in an upright position and
begin trimming under your jawline, using short,
even strokes.
3. After your beard is blended, turn off the
trimmer and remove the attachment by gently
pulling up on tab.
USING THE DETAILING BLADE
1. To clean up the edges around your cut (e.g.,
neckline and sideburns), detach the comb guides.
2. Hold the appliance upside down, so the front of
the trimmer is facing toward your head.

2. Peine la barba en dirección del crecimiento
antes de empezar a darle forma.

la quijada y subiendo hacia la oreja, en cada lado
de la cara. Luego, de forma al área de la mejilla, a
las patillas y a la línea de nacimiento del cabello.
CÓMO CORTAR LA BARBA
1. El aparato incluye una guía de 5 posiciones para

pelo de 3/32in (2mm) a 3/8in (9.5mm).

DE USO
INSTRUCCIONES DE CARGA
1. Cargue el aparato continuamente por 3 horas
antes del primer uso. La batería recargable
alcanzará su capacidad máxima después de 3
ciclos de carga/descarga.
2. Antes de cargar el aparato, compruebe que esté
apagado. Enchufe el enchufe USB-C en la parte
inferior del aparato, luego conecte el cable USB a
un adaptador USB (salida de 5V DC, 1000mA).
Enchufe el adaptador (compruebe el voltaje
indicado en la etiqueta del adaptador primero) en
la toma de corriente; Desenchufe el adaptador
cuando no esté en uso.
3. Puede que el adaptador se caliente ligeramente
durante la carga; esto es normal.
4. Una vez cargada la batería, la luz de carga
permanecerá encendida sin parpadear.
Desenchufe el adaptador de la toma de corriente,
y luego desconéctelo del aparato. El aparato está
listo para su uso.
NOTA: Como medida de seguridad, este aparato
ha sido diseñado para no poder encenderse
durante la carga.
5. Una carga completa proporcionará aprox. 60
minutos de uso inalámbrico.
6. Para mantener la capacidad óptima de la
batería recargable, es muy recomendable dejar
que el aparato se descargue completamente cada

PRECAUCIONES DE CARGA
• Evite cargar el aparato en temperaturas

3. Empiece a cortar la barba usando pasadas

hasta que encaje.

pelo usando pequeños movimientos uniformes.
3. Después de terminar, apague el aparato y quite
la guía.
USO DE LA CUCHILLA DE

1. Para delinear el corte y dar el acabado en la

2. Sostenga el aparato al revés, de tal manera
que la parte delantera del mismo apunte hacia su
cabeza.
3. Sostenga el aparato verticalmente contra las
sienes o la nuca, presionando ligeramente la
cuchilla de acabado contra la piel, y deslícelo
lentamente hacia abajo. Esto proporcionará un
acabado limpio y preciso.

unit free of charge for 24 months from the date of
purchase if the appliance is defective in workman-
ship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the

purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for
shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase
receipt, the warranty period shall be 24 months
from the date of manufacture.

BATTERY REMOVAL
1. Remove blade head attachment.
2. Remove the screws from housing.
3. Detach top housing.
4. Remove inner parts and screws to access and remove used lithium battery.
NOTE: The product you have purchased contains a rechargeable battery. The battery is recyclable.
At the end of its useful life, under various state and local laws, it may be illegal to dispose of this

3. Hold the trimmer blade straight on your sideburns
or neckline and move the trimmer blade downward.
This will give you a clean, smooth finish.
HOW TO GET THE STUBBLE LOOK
This trimmer includes 5 stubble combs. These
combs allow you to achieve 5 different looks of
stubble or shadow with your existing growth.
Attach comb #1 to trim closest to skin for lightest
stubble, and comb #5 to leave the most stubble.
The stubble combs fit on the blade just like the
jawline combs.
USING THE NOSE & EAR TRIMMER
1. Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
2. Insert the pin of the trimmer body into the
hexagonal hole of the nose and
ear trimmer head as shown
(Fig. 7).
3. Press and snap the trimmer
head onto the body as shown
(Fig. 8).
4. Use trimmer in a circular
motion. Insert no more than
1/4" into nostril or ear canal.
5. To detach the nose and ear
trimmer: Hold the trimmer as
shown (Fig. 9), with the thumb
pressing the top, front part of the
trimmer head, and snap it off.
CLEANING &
MAINTENANCE
1. To maintain optimal performance, the appliance
should be cleaned after each use.
2. Remove the comb guide after use. Rinse comb
under running water and dry thoroughly before
storage or use.
3. Remove the trimmer head after use. The heads
are washable and clean easily. Rinse under running
water and dry thoroughly before storage or use.
4. Do not disassemble the blades.
5. For optimal cutting performance, we highly
recommend oiling the blades after every
use. Please refer to OILING THE BLADES for
instructions.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
1. This device contains one 14500 lithium-ion
battery.
2. Battery is not to be removed by the consumer
unless instructed by the manufacturer.
3. Since the battery is sensitive to high
temperatures, when storing the device, keep it
in a cool, dry place.
4. Never put batteries into a fire.
5. Switch off device after use.
6. Keep batteries away from children, especially
the batteries that are small enough to ingest.
7. If a battery is ingested, seek immediate
medical help. The National Battery Ingestion

8. Never open, crush, puncture or disassemble

9. Dispose of battery according to any state and
local regulations.

CÓMO CONSEGUIR UN EFECTO
“BARBA DE 3 DÍAS”
Esta cortadora incluye 5 guías para barba corta,
los cuales permiten crear 5 estilos de barba corta.
La guía n.° 1 corta al ras, para un efecto “barba
de 1 día”; la guía n.° 5 deja el pelo lo más largo.
Las guías para barba corta se instalan sobre la
cuchilla de la misma manera que las guías para
la quijada.
USO DEL RECORTADORA DE
NARIZ/OREJAS
1. Compruebe que el aparato esté apagado
(“OFF”).
2. Introduzca el árbol del motor de la cortadora
en el orificio hexagonal del
recortador de nariz/orejas
(Fig.7).
3. Presione el recortador para
fijarlo (Fig.8).
4. Mueva el recortador en forma
circular. No inserte el cabezal
más de ¼in (0.5cm) dentro de
la nariz o del canal del oído.
5. Para sacar el recortador de
nariz/orejas: Sostenga el aparato
como se indica (Fig.9), con
el pulgar presionando la parte
superior delantera del cabezal, y
empuje hasta que el cabezal se
desprenda.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Para mantener un rendimiento óptimo, limpie el
aparato después de cada uso.
2. Retire la guía después de cada uso. Enjuáguela
en agua corriente y séquela bien antes de
guardarla o usarla otra vez.
3. Retire el cabezal después de cada uso. Los
cabezales
son lavables, para una fácil limpieza.
