HCP-1000 Planum
Antec’s High Current Pro Planum series is the pinnacle of power supplies. High Current Pro Planum
is fully modular with a revoluonary 20+8-pin MBU socket for the needs of tomorrow. By using a PSU
that is 80 PLUS® PLATINUM cered & ErP Lot 6: 2013, operang up to 94% eî… cient, you can reduce
your electricity bill by up to 25% when compared to many other power supplies. HCP Planum’s
innovave 16-pin sockets create a new level of exibility by doubling the modular connecvity,
supporng two dierent 8-pins connectors and even future connectors of 10, 12, 14 or 16-pins. Backed
by a 7-year warranty and lifeme global 24/7 support, the HCP-1000 Planum embodies everything a
power supply can accomplish today.
STANDARDS AND FEATURES
The connectors and power specicaons of the HCP-1000 Planum PSU are all compable with
ATX12V v2.32 and EPS12V v2.92 specicaons. The HCP-1000 Planum features Universal Input, which
automacally senses when you connect the power supply to any AC power source between 100 - 240V
without seng a voltage switch. This power supply also features Acve Power Factor Correcon (PFC),
which improves the power factor value of the power supply by altering the input current wave shape,
helping to power transmission across the grid.
SYSTEM PROTECTION
A variety of industrial-grade safety circuitry will help protect your computer: Over Current Protecon
(OCP), Over Voltage Protecon (OVP), Under Voltage Protecon (UVP), Short Circuit Protecon (SCP),
Over Power Protecon (OPP), Over Temparature Protecon (OTP), Surge & Inrush Protecon (SIP), No
Load Operaon (NLO) & Brown-Out Protecon (BOP). Somemes the PSU will “latch” into a protected
state. You will need to power o the PSU and clear the fault before it will funcon again. There are no
user-replaceable fuses in your HCP-1000 Planum.

MODULAR CABLE JACKS
There are six 5-pin black jacks and ve 16-pin black jacks on the back of your HCP-1000 Planum PSU.
These jacks are for the oponal cables that come with your power supply.
Cauon: Please connect only cables provided with this HCP-1000 Planum. Other cables may not be
compable!
20+8-pin MBU connecon
You can connect 1 or 2 modular 8-pin cables into any of the 16-pin sockets
OC Link™ System Installaon
Connect the included OC Link™ cable to two Antec HCP Planum power supplies. You can use any
combinaon of models such as 850 + 1000 or 1300 + 1300. You can connect any system component to
either PSU without restricons. Please read the chapter “INSTALLATION” for general installaon help.
Please turn the “I/O” switch on both power supplies to “I” (On). Aer compleon of set-up, simply turn
on the system.
