with the introduction of the BTSC 1700 Bluetooth® 3.0 Hands-free Car
Kit. Slim and unobtrusive, the compact unit simply hooks on to the sun
visor. With Voice Control, this is a True Hands-free unit. Perfect for
Hands-free use while driving.
When the phone rings, the Uniden BTSC 1700 will announce the name
of the caller or their phone number. To handle the call, just say:
"ANSWER" or "IGNORE". The BTSC 1700 has a 46mm wide OLED
display which shows the Caller's name or phone number when you
receive a call.
Bringing further innovation to the hands-free communications
experience, the new car kit utilises the latest noise and echo
cancellation technology for enhanced call clarity, as well as Bluetooth®
3.0 for faster transmission speeds and lower power consumption. Up 2
devices can be paired at the same time.

SMS messages via Text to Speech technology. You can also check

An audio alert will tell you when you receive a new text message or the
BTSC 1700 will announce "You have a new (message)(email). Please
say CHECK or IGNORE."
