The Polycom® KIRK® 60-Handset Series is ruggedized and durable in harsh conditions
– no matter if they are humid, dusty, or dirty. Moreover, the KIRK 60-Handset Series
offers features to improve the safety of your workforce.
The ruggedized KIRK 6020 and KIRK 6040 Handsets combine maximum
functionality, ease of use, and elegant design with high durability. The handsets are
designed to meet the needs of a mobile workforce in industrial and manufacturing
environments.
The robust design of the IP64-compliant handsets ensures that they are resistant
to dirt, dust, and splashing water. The handsets come with a complete set of
specialized features prepared for third-party applications, which can be tailored to
meet any organizations individual needs, e.g.:
• Receive a notification the minute a machine failure occurs and reduce
production downtime
• Immediate arrangement of assistance or coordination in order to improve
operational efficiency
The KIRK 60-Handset Series offers a range of safety features. The integrated
alarm button and specially designed color-coded alarm icons ensure immediate
reaction in critical situations. The high-quality TFT color display provides a clear
view from all angles, and the unique alarm color icons ensure that users easily can
determine the type of emergency – even if the phone is sitting in a belt clip.
To improve communication in noisy environments, the KIRK 60-Handset Series has
a headset jack with amplifier for industrial headsets and a vibrator option, which
make the handsets ideal for environments where a ringtone may not be enough to
detect incoming calls and messages.
The KIRK 60-Handset Series is supported on Microsoft® LyncTM Server 2010. Use
your KIRK 60-Series Handset to connect to Microsoft UC environments in a KIRK
Wireless Server 6000 Lync set-up.
KIRK 6020 Handset
The KIRK 6020 Handset is highly durable, designed specifically for manufacturing
environments, and comes with a range of features such as alarm button, color
display, and manufacturing specific alarm icons. The easily recognizable icons in the
display ensure that communication is clear and immediately understood. The KIRK
6020 Handset meets the needs of manufacturing staff working in rough and noisy
environments.
KIRK 6040 Handset
The KIRK 6040 Handset extends the capabilities of the KIRK 6020 Handset.
Automatic alarms such as man down, no movement, and running detection
ensure maximum safety for your workforce. Lone workers and people at risk
can immediately get help as automatic alarms, triggered by the handset’s motion
detectors or tear-off string, allow fast response. The expanded safety features of
the KIRK 6040 Handset makes it ideal for lone workers and personnel in high-risk
environments.
