Always clean Grooming System attachments regularly to ensure maximum
performance and a proper operating life. The trimmer is washable so it can be
used in the shower or rinsed under water during cleaning. Therefore, to maintain
performance of cutters, oil after rinsing.
Cleaning Cautions
â– The handheld unit should be detached from the power supply cord before
cleaning.
â– Only the attachments and combs may be removed for cleaning.
â– Cleaning should be done with a soft brush.
â– Only use a light-grade oil like sewing machine oil. These oils will not evaporate
or slow down the blades.
â– Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their cutters.
â– Do not apply pressure or hard objects to cutters.
â– Do not disassemble cutter assembly.
â– There are no user serviceable parts.
CLEANING TRIMMER ATTACHMENTS WITH BRUSH / WATER
â– Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from cutter system, attachment,
and handle.
â– Rinse the attachment under warm running water. Do NOT use extremely hot
water as this might cause damage to components.
CLEANING FOIL SHAVER
â– Do NOT oil foil shaver attachment as this is permanently lubricated.
â– Press release buttons inward at sides of screen head.
â– Remove head and shake out clippings. Blow off cutter assembly.
â– Replace head, snapping in place to secure.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
FOIL SHAVER ATTACHMENT
1. Trim hair to shortest length (no comb) with either the Detail or Vertical Trimmer.
2. Pull skin taut with your free hand to force the trimmed hairs to stand on end.
3. Use short, circular strokes with the Foil Shaver Attachment over desired area. For
best results only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving.
4. Always position the shaver foil so the center of the foil is in contact with the skin.
5. Due to the varying direction body hair grows the Foil Shaver may require multiple
passes to remove all hair.
OILING BLADES & CAUTIONS
â– Rinsing attachments under water requires lubricating the cutting blades.
Using only light-grade oils (e.g. sewing machine oil), simply spread 1-2 drops
lightly over cutters with fingertip. Wipe away all excess.
â– Use only light-grade oils as these will not evaporate nor slow down speed of
cutting blades.
â– Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent as these
too will evaporate.
NOTE: Always recycle or properly dispose of batteries according to Local and
State requirements.
1. Unplug groomer from outlet to avoid risk of electrical shock.
2. Pry (2) screw covers from rear end of unit on either side of the
charge socket and remove screws.
3. Remove attachment from the unit if applicable.
4. Under the attachment on main body remove (2) screws either
side of motor shaft and remove the plastic cover.
5. Remove (2) screws from chrome ring and pry ring free of main body.
6. Remove (2) screws from behind chrome ring.
7. Press the Extendable Handle Release Button and slide the Extendable Handle to
the extended position.
Product Disposal
8. Separate the handle end of the unit from the attachment end at the remaining
chrome ring.
9. Using wire cutters disconnect the battery from the circuit.
10. Remove battery and insulate battery ends by (1) placing battery into a plastic
bag or (2) covering the terminals of the battery with plastic or non-conductive
electrical tape.
11. Dispose in accordance with state and local regulations.
THIS DEVICE USES EITHER NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE (NiMH), OR NICKEL CADMIUM

CAUTION: ALL RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED
OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS. Do
not put in fire or mutilate, as the battery may burst or release toxic materials. Do
not short-circuit, as this may cause burns.
