NOTICE: Stated data has been measured in accordance with the international flashlight
testing standards ANSI/NEMA FL1 using an integrated and fully charged 3.7V 1800mAh
rechargeable Li-ion battery under laboratory conditions. End-user results may vary due to
individual usage habits and environmental conditions.
*Runtime for turbo mode is calculated based on theoretical arithmetic.
Operating Instructions
Dual Switches
The power switch controls the white light, and the R switch controls the red light.
White Light Illumination
With the light turned off, press the power switch to turn the white light on.
1. Within 3 second intervals, pressing the power switch repeatedly to cycle through
Low-Mid-High-Standby.
2. Pressing the power switch when no action is taken after 3 second will turn the light off.
Access to Turbo
With the light turned on, hold down the power switch for 1 second to enter turbo mode
(400 lumens)
Note: The NU30’s turbo output diminishes after 30 second to prevent overheating.
White Auxiliary LEDs
With the light turned off, hold down the power switch for 1 second to activate the 2
onboard white auxiliary LEDs for flood illumination. Pressing the power switch again to
turn the white auxiliary LEDs off.
Red Auxiliary LEDs
With the light turned off, press the R switch to turn the red auxiliary LEDs on. Press the R
switch repeatedly within 3 seconds interval to cycle through Red illumination-Flashing red
illumination-Standby. Pressing the R switch when no action is taken after 3 second will
turn the red auxiliary LEDs off.
Special Modes (SOS/Location Beacon)
With the light turned off, hold down the power switch for 3 seconds to enter SOS; press
the power switch again within 3 seconds and switch to beacon mode. To exit special
mode, press the power switch when the NU30 is in beacon mode, alternatively, press the
power switch when no action is taken after 3 second.
Lockout/Unlock
With the light turned off, hold down both the power switch and the R switch
simultaneously until the built-in red indicator blink once to enter lockout mode. All LEDs
will be rendered inoperative in lockout mode. To unlock, hold down both switches until the
red indicator blinks once again.
Power Tips
With the light turned off, hold down the R switch for 1 second to activate the built in red
power indicator. The indicator will blink to give an approximation for remaining battery
level: 3 blinks represent battery level above 50%, 2 blinks represent battery level below
50%, 1 blink represents battery level below 10%.
Note: Recharge the product when output appears to be dim or unresponsive.
Recharge
This product comes with USB recharge capability. Raise the micro USB port cover to
expose the charging port, connect the port to a power supply with a USB cord to initiate
the charging process. Fully chargings the product takes approximately 3.5 hours.
Warranty Details
All NITECORE products are warranted for quality. Any defective /malfunctioning
NITECORE product can be repaired free of charge for a period of 12 months from the
date of purchase. Beyond 12 months, a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of
labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts. The
warranty is nullified in either or both of the following situations:
1. The product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized
parties.
2. The product(s) is/are damaged through improper use.

When the product is connected to a power supply,the
built-in red power indicator will be lit to indicate
charging in progress, and will turn green when
charging completes.
