This Video Cassette Recorder is based on the D-VHS and VHS formats. Only video cassette tapes with the
mark or the mark may be used with this model. However, D-VHS recordings are possible
only with cassettes marked .
D-VHS tapes recorded on video products not using the D-VHS MTP/NTSC standard cannot be played
back on this unit.
