AP1014i
Single-radio, Dual-stream 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Access Point
Entry-level Enterprise Wired and Wireless Connectivity
For more information about the AP1014i, visit www.merunetworks.com
The AP1014i is an 802.11b/g/n wireless access point
with a 2x2:2 MIMO design. Its single radio operates
over the 2.4 GHz band to support data, voice, and
video applications for in-room wireless access in
hospitality settings and in small branch oces.
The AP1014i provides a data rate of up to 300 Mbps
and features five 10/100BASE-T Fast Ethernet
ports. Four of the ports deliver connectivity for
wired devices such as IP set-top boxes and IP
phones, with an additional port for network uplink.
Built-in TLS-VPN tunneling provides secure
IP connectivity for remote oce applications,
eliminating the need for separate VPN devices.
The AP1014i supports multiple high-bandwidth
applications simultaneously, increasing productivity
for end users. Plug-and-play deployment makes
it easy to expand capacity, reducing IT workload.
The access point supports multiple operating
modes. Centralized mode simplifies deployment
in large campuses. VPN tunnel mode coupled
with distributed mode allows selected trac to be
bridged locally and is ideal for remote branch oces.
Mesh mode allows coverage to be cost-eectively
extended to hard-to-wire places.
As with other Meru access points, the AP1014i
integrates seamlessly with the System Director
wireless operating system and Meru management
tools to bring intelligent management and resilient
wireless services to your network.
