even easier and faster to programme the remote control and discover all the potential offered

by the DIGITAL 2 SMART.

S E T - U P

Read these instructions carefully before programming your remote control!

Thanks to its large database and numerous functions the remote control is ideal forDIGITAL 2 SMART

replacing up to 2 remote controls of any brands for (digital terrestrial or satellite decoder).TV - STB

PROGRAMMING USING THE BRAND CODE

F I T T I N G T H E B A T T E R I E S

Before programming and using the remote control,

fit the batteries.

To display and make a note of the code memorized by means of the search,

follow the instructions described in the paragraph CURRENT CODE DISPLAY.

ADDITIONAL CHECK

Check that some of the other functions used on your original remote control are working correctly. If the

commands function incorrectly or erratically, you have probably entered a code for a similar remote control

but not the right one. In this case, repeat the search procedure starting from , entering the codepoint 3

previously used (e.g. 0025).

The keys can be programmed according to your requirements, following the procedure describedTV - STB

below.

The quickest and easiest way to programme the remote control is

by consulting the website www.meliconi.com/guide.

Warning: programme one appliance at a time!

• Change the batteries if the light indicator starts to flash

during use. The batteries are low.

• Make a note of the codes for your appliances on the

adhesive label inside the battery cover in case you have

to reprogramme your remote control.

• This remote control has a permanent memory and does

not lose the programmed codes or functions when the

batteries are removed.

The remote control requires 2 new batteries. Insert the batteries as shown:AAA/LR03

1. Switch ON the appliance you wish to program and select

a program.

2. Search for the brand of your appliance in the list of brands

at the end of this booklet. Record the code indicated

alongside (

e.g. PHILIPS 0025

). Warning: if the brand is

not shown in the list then programming can be per-

formed using the code 0099.

3. Hold down the selection key for the appliance to be

programmed for 5 seconds.

4. When the key is released, it will start to flash. Enter the

brand code previously identified within 15 seconds (

e.g.

0025

).The selection key flashes more quickly to indicate

that the remote control is ready for the search.

5. Point the remote control towards the appliance. Press

and slowly release the key several times, ON/OFF stopping

when the appliance responds correctly to the command.

6. When the appliance responds correctly, press the keyOK

to confirm. indicate that the search operationThree flashes

has been completed correctly.

N.B. THE LIGHT INDICATOR STOPS FLASHING

The remote control exits programming mode and the light indicator stops flashing:

• if no keys are pressed for 14 seconds

• if an invalid brand code is entered

• if a key other than is accidentally pressedON/OFF

• if the end of the code search list has been reached. In this case, consult the website

The quickest and easiest way to programme the remote control is

by consulting the website www.meliconi.com/guide.

This operation can take up to 20 minutes and should be carried out if you have not succeeded in programming

the remote control by means of the method described above.

code 0000 within 15 seconds; the selection key flashes

more quickly to indicate that the remote control is ready

for the search.

when the appliance responds correctly to the command.
