USER INSTRUCTIONS
CHRISTMAS TREE GENIE M XXL DELUXE &
READ BELOW INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE CHRISTMAS TREE STAND.
ONLY USE THE KRINNER CHRISTMAS TREE STAND AS IT IS DESCRIBED IN THE FOLLOWING USER INSTRUCTIONS.
KRINNER STANDS ARE FOR NATURALLY GROWN TREES ONLY.
To prevent oor damage due to possible leakage, please check water reservoir for cracks and holes yearly before tree setup.
1. Do not use the tree stand for any other purpose like sign
plates, clothes dryers, ag poles or sunshades etc. KRINNER
will not cover any damage done by misuse of this Christmas
tree stand. This Christmas tree stand is for indoor use only.
2. Before putting up your Christmas tree, ensure that your
tree stand has a secure base. A thick carpet is not a secure
base! Only use the tree stand on a solid, level and even
surface. Uneven or inclined surfaces cause reduced stability
and enhance the risk of the tree to fall.
3. While pushing down the foot lever with your feet, ensure
that there are no hands or other body parts in between the
clamps and the trunk as it can cause serious injuries by
squeezing. Watch your children! The Christmas tree stand
is not a toy! Do not allow children to operate or use it.
4. This Krinner Christmas tree stand is a safety product. Do
not alter the construction of the Krinner Christmas tree stand.
THIS WILL VOID WARRANTY: also do not use the Krinner
Christmas tree stand if it shows any damage.
5. If electric lighting is used, do not allow this electric ligh-
ting to burn unattended. Caution! Water is a conductor.
Ensure that electric wires are in a safe distance to the water
tank of the Christmas tree stand.
6. A fresh and green Christmas tree not only looks better but
also reduces the re hazard. The trunk must have a fresh,
clean and even cut to absorb water. Therefore always keep
sufcient water in the tree stand. Only ll in tab water.
7. Caution! Adding too much water will lead to overowing
and may cause damage to the surface underneath. For the
correct lling strictly follow the instructions under chapter
‘llingthe Christmas tree stand with water.’
8. Keep your tree away from replaces and open ames.
9. Ensure that the tree is securely fastened, well balan-
ced and positioned in the middle of the tree stand before
applying decorations and lighting.

OPENING AND PREPARATION OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE STAND
You receive Your Christmas tree stand closed and the red foot pedal lock (g. 1) in secured position. To(A)
release the Christmas tree stand, rst slide the red foot pedal lock (g. 1) into the green unlocked position. Lift the foot pe(A) -
dal (B) (g. 2) upwards several times to open the clamping mechanism. The clamps will open step by step. CAUTION: The
foot pedal must be lifted with suitable foot wear. To avoid injury do not place any body parts (ngers) in area of the clamps.
CAUTION: To prevent possible damage to your carpet or oor, the use of a heavy plastic sheet underneath
the Christmas tree stand is recommended. Always place the Christmas tree stand on a at, even surface.
!
CAUTION: The trunk must have an even cut and may not be drilled in the middle. If the cut is inclined or
the trunk is drilled, re-cutting the trunk is necessary. An uneven or inclined cut causes reduced stability and
enhances the risk of the tree to fall.
!
Set the trunk of the tree into the middle of your Christmas tree stand onto the spike. Do not use a trunk that has a drilled hole
in the middle.
Pump the foot pedal several times (B) (g. 3) with your foot (wear suitable footwear) until you feel rm contact of the claws
to the trunk. This preliminary setting allows the tree to stand by itself without any danger of tilting while permitting ne
adjustment to be made. Step back and check if your tree is standing straight and adjust if necessary.
PUTTING UP THE TREE
After having securely anchored the tree in the stand, add water to keep your tree fresh. Always keep the inner container
lled with tap water. Slowly ll with tap water (g. 6) until the level indicator (g. 7) is well visible. Stop adding water. (D)
Overlling can damage the seal and create recurrent leaking, and may cause damage to your oor covering.
FILLING THE CHRISTMAS TREE STAND WITH WATER
To drain the stand after having removed your Christmas tree, tip the stand towards the opening at the level indicator into
a sink. Residual Water remaining in the stand will eventually dry out by itself. After use, wash the inside and outside of the
stand with a soft cloth or sponge and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly (g. 8). Do not use any chemicals or abrasive (D)
cleaners. Dry completely prior to storage. Push down the foot pedal and put the red lock back into secured position.
DRAINING AND CLEANING THE CHRISTMAS TREE STAND AFTER USE
To take out the Christmas tree slide the lock (g. 1) into the green unlocked position. Before lifting the foot pedal (A) (B)
(g. 2) several times ensure that you are holding the tree in an upright position. When lifting the foot pedal (B) (g. 2) the
clamps will open step by step into the vertical position. Now you can take out the Christmas tree.
TAKING OUT THE TREE
CAUTION: The foot pedal must be lifted with suitable foot wear. To avoid injury do not place any body
parts (ngers) in area of the clamps. Watch your children!
!
SECURING THE CHRISTMAS TREE STAND
Pump the foot pedal until you hear the ‘DING’ of the bell inside the foot pedal. The claws now have optimal contact to the
trunk and the tree stand is now secured.
Pump the pedal with your hand and as the claws begin to come into the closed position, push down on 2 claws so that the other
2 claws can fold in on top of the 2 other. Press the button (this is the bell mechanism) on the underside of the foot pedal when
claws have come to a closed position (you will be able to reach this button when pedal is at middle or upper position rather than
it‘s lowest position), this engages the automatic lock. You can then press the pedal into horizontal position for storage in the box.
