Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers

5. This product may have sharp edges. Be careful to avoid
cuts and abrasions during installation and cleaning.
6. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not dam-
age electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.
7. Ducted fans must always be vented to the outdoors.
8. Use only metal ductwork.
9. Do not use this unit with any other solid-state speed
control device.
10. This unit must be grounded.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A RANGE TOP GREASE FIRE:
1. Never leave surface units unattended at high settings.
Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may
ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
2. Always turn hood ON when cooking at high heat or
when๎˜ƒcooking๎˜ƒ๎™ฐaming foods๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ(i.e. Crรชpes๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒSuzette,๎˜ƒCher-

3. Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not be

6. The bottom of the hood MUST NOT BE LESS than 24โ€ and
at a maximum of 30โ€ above cooktop for best capture of
cooking impurities.

part of this product that fails due to a defect in
material or workmanship will receive free repair
or replacement if repair proves impossible. The

of any painted or bright metal part.

bright metal part of this product will be replaced

to cool down before removing them.
This๎˜ƒrange๎˜ƒhood๎˜ƒrequires๎˜ƒtwo๎˜ƒincandescent๎˜ƒbulbs๎˜ƒ(Type
B10, 120V, 40W Max,๎˜ƒcandelabra).
To install or change bulbs:
1. Remove grease filter by pushing in the metal latch
and tilting filter down.
2. -If non-duct filter is installed, remove filter by turn
ing filter mounting tabs.
3. Remove and discard bulb. Replace with new bulb.
4.๎˜ƒ Re-install๎˜ƒnon-duct๎˜ƒfilter๎˜ƒ(if๎˜ƒapplicable).
5. Re-install grease filter.
