GARANTÍA LIMITADA POR TRES AÑOS
HoMedics vende sus productos con la intención de que no tengan defectos de fabricación
ni de mano de obra por un plazo de tres años a partir de la fecha de compra original, con
las siguientes excepciones. HoMedics garantiza que sus productos no tendrán defectos de
material ni de mano de obra bajo condiciones de uso y servicio normales. Esta garantía se
extiende únicamente a consumidores y no a distribuidores.
Para obtener servicio para su producto HoMedics, envíe por correo el producto y su recibo de compra
fechado (como comprobante de compra), con franqueo pago, a la siguiente dirección:

producto. Un producto que requiera modificaciones o adaptación para habilitar su funcionamiento en
cualquier país que no sea aquél para el que fue diseñado, fabricado, aprobado y/o autorizado, o la
reparación de productos dañados por estas modificaciones no están cubiertos bajo esta garantía.

Thermometer. This product, along with the entire HoMedics

Please read these instructions carefully to ensure proper and
safe operation.
IMPORTANT PRODUCT NOTICES
AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your thermometer, basic precautions should
always be followed. Please read and follow all instructions
and warnings before using this product. Save these
instructions for future reference.
Please note that this product is intended for household use
only and should not serve as a substitute for the advice of a
physician or medical professional. Do not use this device for
diagnosis or treatment of any health problem or disease.
Measurement results are for reference only. Contact your
physician if you have or suspect any medical problem.
• Use the HoMedics No-Touch Thermometer only for its
intended use.
• The thermometer should only be used under supervision of
an adult.
• Prolonged high fever requires medical attention — especially
in young children.
• Do not expose thermometer to extreme high or low
temperatures, very high humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Handle product with care and avoid dropping.
• Do not immerse thermometer in water or other liquids.
• Do not dissemble or attempt to repair unit.
• When not in use, keep thermometer in storage bag and out
of the reach of children.
• Never attempt to insert anything into lens or sensor area.
• Avoid touching lens or sensor area.
• Batteries:
• Batteries can be harmful to thermometer if leakage
occurs. If thermometer will not be used for an extended
period of time (three months or more), remove the
batteries.
• A worn battery should be replaced immediately with a
new one.
• Align battery polarities properly when changing
