1. Make sure the Smar t Finder Card bat t er y is fully charg ed.
2. Pres s the f unct ion but ton once to p ower o n your Smart
Finder. You will hear a c hime.
3. Open the Apple Find My app on your suppor t ed
iPhone or iP ad.
4. Tap +, then “Add Other ltem”.
5. Once your 6ACTAG1 is lo cate d, tap “Connect ”.
6. Enter a name, s elect a n emoji f or your S mart Finder
and ta p “Co ntinue’’.
7. Tap “Agree” t o add the Smar t Finder to your Apple ID.
8. Tap “Finish” and yo ur Sma rt Fi nder wil l be set up and
read y to be use d.
Loc ate yo ur Sm art F inder whe n it is nearb y
- Open t he Apple Find My app and select t he “Items” tab.
- Tap on your Smart Finder from t he list.
- Tap “Play Sound” t o make your Smart Finder beep.
- Tap “Stop S ound ” to sto p the beeps.

- Open th e Apple Find My app and select t he “Items” t ab.
- Tap on your Smart Finder from t he list.
- Your Smar t Finder’s lo cat i on will a ppear o n the map
with a t ime stamp.
- To navigat e t o the lo cat ion, tap “Directions” to o pen
Apple Maps.
Notify W hen L ef t Beh ind
- Open th e Apple Find My app and select t he “Items” t ab.
- Tap on your Smart Finder from t he list.
- Under “ Not i ïŹca t ion s” enable the “Not i fy When Left
Behind” toggle.
- You will receive a notiïŹcation when you leave your Smart
Finder behind and it is no longer in range of your device.

- Under “ Not i ïŹca t ion s”, enable the “Not if y When
Found” toggle.
- When your Smar t Finder is se en by ano ther Find
