LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRIC BLANKET
ENGLISH
EN fIttING your bLaNkEt
1 Make sure that the ECONO-HEATâ„¢ eCareâ„¢ low voltage electric blanket is the correct size for your mattress. Do not use an over
sized electric blanket and tuck it in.
2 Place the electric blanket directly on the mattress with the label at the top end of the bed facing upward.
3 Starting at the foot end of the bed î‚¿t the electric blanket to the mattress with the elastic bands provided. Then secure the top end. At
the top end there might be a small overlap of the electric blanket, depending on the length of the mattress. The exible elastic bands
will ensure that the electric blanket ts all mattresses. Ensure that electric blanket is at on the mattress with no folds or creases.
4 Carefully t the bottom sheet over the electric blanket, ensuring that the electric blanket remains at.
opEratING your bLaNkEt
1 Ensure that the exible lead from the control switch is rmly plugged into the socket of the electric blanket.
2 Plug the AC/DC adaptor (Part No. ZBHWX-A290020-A) into the wall socket and switch ON. A green LED light on the adaptor will
indicate that the adaptor is working.
3 Move the slider switch on the controller to the desired heat setting recommended for continuous use: Position I – Low (±25°) or
Position II – Medium (±30°). The red LED light will indicate that the blanket is ON. Position III (Boost, ±35°) is not recommended for
continuous use.
4 PUSHBUTTON boost settings (see pictorial diagram below):
a) SINGLE TAP BOOST MODE (20 minute preheat timer): to preheat the electric blanket, set the control slide switch to the
desired setting recommended for continuous use – Position I or II and press the PUSHBUTTON ONCE. The green LED light
will indicate that the electric blanket is in boost mode. After 20 minutes the green LED light will turn OFF and the control switch
will automatically revert to the pre selected heat setting.
b) DOUBLE TAP BOOST MODE (1 hour auto OFF timer): To activate the 20 minute boost and 1 hour auto OFF timer, preset
the control slide switch to the desired setting recommended for continuous use – Position I or Position II and press the
PUSHBUTTON TWICE. The ashing green LED light will ash indicating that the electric blanket will preheat (boost) for 20
minutes and then automatically switch to the pre selected heat setting. The electric blanket will remain ON for a further 40
minutes and then automatically switch OFF. To switch the electric blanket ON again move the control slide switch to position
O - OFF and back to the desired heat setting recommended for continuous use:
Position I – Low or Position II – Medium.
5 AUTOMATIC ENERGY SAVER 10 HOUR SWITCH OFF: The control switch is designed to automatically switch OFF after 10 hours
of continuous use. If the electric blanket is still required move the control slide switch to position O – OFF and back to the desired
heat setting recommended for continuous use: Position I – Low or Position II – Medium.
6 Unplug the AC/DC adaptor from the wall socket when not in use.

utilisation continue : Position I – Bas (±25°) ou Position II Moyen (±30°).
