Safety Notes
These Safety Notes include important information about installation, use, and maintenance.
• To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the
product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.
• DO NOT look at the light source when the product is on.
• CAUTION: When transferring product from extreme temperature environments, (e.g. cold truck to warm humid
ballroom) condensation may form on the internal electronics of the product. To avoid causing a failure, allow
product to fully acclimate to the surrounding environment before connecting it to power.
• CAUTION: This product’s housing may be hot when lights are operating.
• Mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces.
• DO NOT leave any flammable material within 50 cm of this product while operating or connected to power.
• USE a safety cable when mounting this product overhead.
• DO NOT submerge this product (IP67). Temporary outdoor operation is fine.
• DO NOT operate this product if the housing, ports, or cables appear damaged.
• DO NOT connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat.
• ONLY connect this product to an ÉPIX Flex Drive, an ÉPIX Flex Boost, or another ÉPIX Flex 20.
• In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.
• The maximum ambient temperature is 113 °F (45 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures.
• The minimum ambient temperature is -4 °F (-20 °C). Do not operate the product at lower temperatures.

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
Mounting
Before mounting this product, read the Safety Notes. Use 1 of the included brackets every 1.6 ft (0.5 m).
Mounting Diagram
Cutting to Length
Each ÉPIX Flex 20 can be cut to length to accommodate custom installations. Any ÉPIX Flex 20 that is cut to length must
be used as the last product linked to an output port of the ÉPIX Flex Drive.
Termination Kit
After cutting an ÉPIX Flex 20 to length, seal the included end cap to the exposed end of the product with the included
silicone glue:
Handling Warnings
• Never twist the ÉPIX Flex 20.
• Never coil the ÉPIX Flex 20 sideways. If necessary, it is recommended to store the product on a reel or drum.
• Always retain the ÉPIX Flex 20 on the included spool when it is not installed. The ÉPIX Flex 20 should never
be folded, placed un-spooled in a box or any other carrying case or stored in any manner other than around
the included spool.
• DISCONNECT the product from power before cutting to length.
• DO NOT cut across electrical components.
• Any ÉPIX Flex 20 that is cut to length must be used as the last product linked to an output port of
the ÉPIX Flex Drive.
1. Disconnect the product from power.
2. Apply the silicone glue to the exposed end of the product.
3. Insert the exposed end of the product into the end cap.
4. Wipe away any excess glue.
5. Allow to dry before reconnecting to power.
The end cap must be sealed completely to maintain the IP67 rating of the product.
