EN55022/CISPR22 Class A ITE (Information Technology Equipment)
Class A ITE is a category of all other ITE which satisfies the class A ITE limits b ut not the class B ITE limits. Such equi pment sho u ld not
be restricted in its sale but the following warning shall be included in the instructions for use:

required to take adequate measures.
Guaran tee and Compensation
Barco provides a guarantee relating to perfect man ufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of guarantee. On receipt, th e pu rchaser
mu st immediately inspect all delivered good s for damage incu rred during transport, as well as for mater ial and manufacturing fa ults Barc o
must b e informed immediately in writing of any c o mplaints.
The period o f guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of specia l systems and software on the date of c omm issioning,
at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the event of justified notice of com plaint, Barco can r ep air the fault or p rovide a replacement
at its own disc retion within an appropriate period. If this m easure prov es to be impossible or unsuccessful, the purchaser can d emand a
reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of the contract. All other claims, in particular those relating to compensation for direct or
indirect damage, and also damage a ttributed to th e operation of s oftware as well as to other services provided by Barco, being a compon ent
of the system or independent s ervice, will be deemed in valid prov ided the dam age is n ot pro ven to be attributed to the absence of proper ties
guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence o r p art o f Barco.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out modifications or repairs on goods delivered by B arc o, or if the goods are handled inc orrectly,
in particular if the systems are commissio ned operated in correctly or if, after the transfer of risks , the goods a re s ubjec t to influences not
agreed upon in the contract, all guarantee claims of the purchaser will be rendered invalid. Not included in the guarantee coverage are
system failures which are attributed to programs o r special electronic circuitry pr ovided by the pur cha ser, e.g. inte rfaces. Normal wear as
well as norma l main tenance a re not subject to the guara ntee provided by Barco e ither.
The environmental conditions as well as the servi cing and m ainten ance reg ulations specified in the this m anual must be complied with by
the customer.
