V. Montage
Wichtige Hinweise:
1. Vor der Montage prĂŒfen Sie bitte die Einstellung des Fensters bzw. der FenstertĂŒr.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Fenster/die FenstertĂŒr einwandfrei öffnen und schließen
lÀsst.
2. Messen Sie auch nach, ob die in Abb. 1 angegebenen Mindestmaße an Ihrem Fenster/
Ihrer FenstertĂŒr vorhanden sind.
3. Die Bohrlochtiefen bzw. die SchraubenlĂ€ngen mĂŒssen auf die örtlichen Gegebenheiten
abgestimmt werden.
4. Austreten des Bohrers bzw. der Schrauben auf der RĂŒckseite vermeiden!
Ggf. mit Bohranschlag arbeiten oder die vorhandenen Schrauben kĂŒrzen.
Beim Bohren keine beweglichen Teile, Dichtungen oder Glasscheiben verletzen.
Montage des Schlosskastens:
Abdeckhaube (4) vom Schlosskasten (1) durch Druck auf Rastpunkte auf der RĂŒckseite
entfernen. Riegel ausschließen.
Schlosskasten (1) in gewĂŒnschter Position auf FensterflĂŒgel bzw. TĂŒrblatt anhalten,
Abstand zur FlĂŒgelkante 2 mm (s. Abb. 3).
Bohrposition E und F (nur bei Kunststofffenstern und -tĂŒren zusĂ€tzlich G) anzeichnen und
vorbohren lt. Bohrtabelle (s. Abb. 4 + 5).
Schlosskasten (1) anschrauben. Bohrungen (je nach Falzhöhe) Schrauben 4,2 x 16 mmE
oder 4,2 x 9,5 mm (Schraubendreher mit Magnetspitze verwenden). FĂŒr Bohrungen F G ( )
Schrauben 5,5 x 60 mm (s. Abb. 4 +7).
Montage des Schließkastens:
Schlosskasten (1) und Schließkasten (2) mĂŒssen auf gleicher Ebene liegen (s. Abb. 3).
Zum Ausgleich der unterschiedlichen Falzhöhen wird der Schließkasten (2) unterlegt.
Hierzu dienen die Anschraubleiste (3) und/oder die Unterlagen (7).
Falzhöhe: ab 14 mm [mit Anschraubleiste (3) und ggf. Unterlagen (7)].
Anschraubleiste (3) (14 mm hoch) mittig auf gleiche Höhe und im parallelen Abstand
von 3 mm zum Schlosskasten (1) anhalten (s. Abb. 3). Auf richtige Lage der Anschraub-
leiste (3) achten (s. t Abb. 3).
Bohrpositionen A anzeichnen und vorbohren (s. Abb. 8, und Bohrtabelle).11, 12
Anschraubleiste (3) bei Bedarf (Falzhöhe grĂ¶ĂŸer 14 mm) mit Unterlagen (7) unterfĂŒttern.
Mit Schrauben 5,5 x 60 mm festschrauben (s. Abb. 10).
Durch die schrÀgen Schraubenlöcher im gleichen Winkel zur Wand hin schrÀg vor-C
bohren (s. Bohrtabelle). Wenn dieses nicht möglich ist, so kann auch senkrecht gebohrt
werden. Dann in Bohrungen die beiden keilförmigen Unterlegscheiben (6) einlegenC
(s. Abb. 14 +15).
In Bohrungen weitere Schrauben 5,5 x 60 mm einschrauben.C
Abdeckhaube (5) vom Schließkasten (2) durch Druck auf Rastpunkte auf der RĂŒckseite
entfernen.
Schließkasten (2) mit 3 Schrauben (12) M6 x 25 mm auf die Anschraubleiste (3) in die
Löcher B schrauben (s. Abb. 16).
Falzhöhe: 0 bis 13 mm (ggf. mit Unterlagen).
Abdeckhaube (5) vom Schließkasten (2) durch Druck auf Rastpunkte auf der RĂŒckseite
entfernen.
Schließkasten (2) mittig auf gleicher Höhe und im parallelen Abstand von 3 mm vom
Schlosskasten (1) anhalten (s. Abb. 3).
Bohrposition D1 bis D3 anzeichnen (s. Abb. 9) und vorbohren (s. Bohrtabelle).
Schließkasten (2) bei Bedarf mit Unterlagen (7) unterfĂŒttern und mit 3 Schrauben (8)
5,5 x 60 mm festschrauben.
Funktion prĂŒfen: Riegel mĂŒssen beim Einschließen in den Schließkasten (2) frei laufen.
Bei Montage von FTS 96: beide Abdeckhauben (4 +5) aufdrĂŒcken.

VI. Bedienung
FTS 96 lĂ€sst sich ohne SchlĂŒssel durch Drehen des Knopfes verschließen.
Zum Öffnen wird mit SchlĂŒssel entriegelt und der Drehknopf zurĂŒckgedreht.

I. General instructions
The universal window lock FTS 96 is recognised as complying with the strict test require-
ments of DIN 18 104-1 and VdS 2536. FTS 96 is certified by DIN Certco as “BURGLAR
RETARDANT DIN tested”. FTS 96 offers additional protection from unauthorised intruders
in your rooms. DIN 18 104-1 recommends that an additional security device should be
fitted on the left and right for every meter in height (per window).
The police and insurance companies also give the same recommendation.
Optimum protection can be achieved by proceeding according to these installation and
operation instructions. To prevent the risk of overtightening, the fastening screws should by
screwed in using a suitable tool and tightened by hand. Only use ABUS fastening material.
The manufacturer does not assume any liability for possible injuries or damages caused
during installation and/or by incorrect handling!
II. Application
FTS 96 is mounted on the handle side of the window or French door and is suitable for all
common windows/French doors openingto the inside with turn or turn-and-tilt hard-
ware (fig. 1). The lock can be fitted to wood, PVC or aluminium. The windows/French doors
can open to the right or left.
FTS 96 is always fitted on the inside, with the lock case on the casement and the striking
plate on the frame.
In poor fixture conditions (soft or hollow or foam base and PVC windows with and without
metal inlay and wooden windows) and/or good possibilities for intrusion from the outside,
more security devices and additional fastenings should be used (composite mortar or
fixing bolts). If the frame itself is too weak for sensible retrofitting, it may be necessary for
example to reinforce the frame.
To do so, please use the or alternatively for PVC frames, the ABUS fixing bolt BA ABUS
fastening set IM 100. For IM 100 you need a suitable composite mortar, e.g. Fischer,
Hilti or similar. ABUS BA and ABUS IM 100 are available from retail stores together with
composite mortar.
The ABUS products (FAS) shown in fig. 2 are also available from retail stores.

I. Conseils d’ordre gĂ©nĂ©ral
La serrure de fenĂȘtre universelle FTS 96 satisfait aux exigences de contrĂŽle sĂ©vĂšres des
normes DIN 18104-1 et VdS 2536. Le certificat DIN indique que FTS 96 a obtenu la
qualification «anti-effraction DIN». FTS 96 offre en plus une protection contre les intrusions
par effraction dans votre logement. Selon la norme DIN 18 104-1, il est recommandé de
monter une sĂ©curitĂ© complĂ©mentaire par mĂštre de hauteur de fenĂȘtre, Ă  gauche comme Ă 
droite (par fenĂȘtre). La police et les compagnies d’assurance le recommandent Ă©galement.
Pour un effet de protection optimal, suivez les instructions de ce manuel d’installation et
d’utilisation. Afin d’éviter un serrage abusif, vissez et serrez les vis de fixation Ă  la main
et avec un outillage adéquat. Utilisez exclusivement des accessoires ABUS.
Le fabricant n’assume aucune responsabilitĂ© pour d’éventuels blessures ou dĂ©gĂąts causĂ©s
pendant l’installation et/ou par suite de manipulations inappropriĂ©es!
L’ensemble doit ĂȘtre accessible de l’extĂ©rieur afin de l’ouvrir au moyen d’une clĂ©.
II. Application
FTS 96 est montĂ© du cĂŽtĂ© de la poignĂ©e de la fenĂȘtre ou de la porte-fenĂȘtre et convient pour
toutes les fenĂȘtres/portes-fenĂȘtres courantes, ouvrant vers l’intĂ©rieur et pourvues de
quincaillerie battante ou oscillo-battante (schĂ©ma 1). L’installation peut ĂȘtre effectuĂ©e sur
des chĂąssis en bois, en PVC ou en aluminium. Les fenĂȘtres/portes-fenĂȘtres peuvent s’ouvrir
Ă  gauche ou Ă  droite.
FTS 96 est montĂ© en principe du cĂŽtĂ© intĂ©rieur, la gĂąche sur l’ouvrant et la serrure sur le dor-
mant. En cas de possibilitĂ©s de fixation dĂ©favorables (fenĂȘtres en bois ou en PVC), plusieurs
sĂ©curitĂ©s et des fixations supplĂ©mentaires (plots d’ancrage ou mortier) doivent ĂȘtre prĂ©vues.
Pour cela, utilisez l’ancre de fixation ABUS BA (pour fenĂȘtres en PVC, en bois tendre ou en
aluminium) ou l’ensemble de fixation ABUS IM 100 (pour fenĂȘtres en PVC). Pour IM 100,
un mortier approprié est requis, par exemple de la marque Fischer, Hilti ou un produit
similaire. ABUS BA et ABUS IM 100 ainsi que le mortier de fixation sont disponibles dans
le commerce.
Les produits ABUS complémentaires illustrés en schéma 2 (FAS) sont également disponibles
dans le commerce.

V. Installation instructions
Installation:
1. Before installation, please check the setting of the window or French door. If necessary,
readjust the fittings so that the window (French door) opens and closes perfectly.
2. Also check whether your window/French door complies with the minimum dimensions
shown in fig. 1.
3. The depths of the drilled holes and screw lengths must be adjusted to the local
conditions.
4. Avoid the drill or screws from coming out at the back!
Possibly work with drill stopper or shorten the existing screws.
When drilling, do not damage any moving parts, seals or glass panes.
Fitting the lock case:
Remove the cover cap (4) from the lock case (1) from below by pressing on the catch
points (see fig. 5). Undo the locking bolt.
Hold the lock case (1) in the required position against the window casement or door,
at a distance of 2 mm to the edge (see fig. 3).
Mark and pre-drill hole position and (for PVC windows and doors also E F G)
(see fig. 7 and drilling table).
Screw on lock case (1). For holes (depending on rebate height), use screws 4.2 x 16 mmE
or 4.2 x 9.5 mm (screwdriver with magnetic tip). Holes ) screws 5.5 x 60 mmF G (
(see fig. 4+7).
Fitting the striking plate:
The lock case (1) and striking plate (2) must be on the same level (see fig. 3).
To compensate for the differing rebate heights, the striking plate (2) is lined, using the
screw-on strip (3) and/or the spacers (7).
Rebate height: from 14 mm [with screw-on strip (3) and possibly shims (7)].
Hold the screw-on strip (3) (14 mm high) on the same level and at a parallel distance
of 3 mm to the lock case (1) (see fig. 3). Ensure that the screw-on strip (3) is in the right
position (see t fig. 3).
Mark and pre-drill bore holes (see fig. 8, and drilling table).A 11, 12
Line screw-on strip (3) with spacers (7) if necessary (rebate height larger than 14 mm).
Screw tight with screws 5.5 x 60 mm (see fig. 10).
Drill in the middle through the slanting screw holes at the same angle to the wallC
(see drilling table). If this is not possible, drill vertically. Then place the two wedge-shaped
washers (6) in holes (see fig. 14 +15).C
Screw 2 more screws 5.5 x 60 mm into holes C.
Remove the cover cap (5) from the striking plate (2) from below by pressing on the catch
points.
Screw striking plate (2) to screw-on strip with 3 screws M6 x 25 mm (see fig. 16).
Rebate height: 0 to 13 mm (possibly with shims).
Remove the cover cap (5) from the striking plate (2) from below by pressing on the catch
points.
Hold striking plate (2) centrally on the same level and at a parallel distance of 3 mm
to the lock case (1) (see fig. 3).
Mark and pre-drill holes position D1 to D3 (see fig. 9) (see drilling table).
Line striking plate (2) with spacers (7) if necessary and screw tight with 3 screws (8)
5.5 x 60 mm.
Check function: Locking bolt must run freely into the striking plate (2) when closing.
When installing the FTS 96: Press on both covers (4+ 5).
When installing the FTS 96 E: See reverse side!
VI. Operation
FTS 96 can be locked without a key by turning the knob.

V. Instructions de montage
Indications importantes:
1. Avant l’installation, contrĂŽlez le rĂ©glage de la fenĂȘtre ou de la porte-fenĂȘtre.
Assurez-vous que la fenĂȘtre/porte-fenĂȘtre ouvre et ferme parfaitement.
2. VĂ©rifiez si votre fenĂȘtre/porte-fenĂȘtre comporte les dimensions minimales indiquĂ©es
en schéma 1.
3. Les profondeurs de perçage ou les longueurs de vis doivent ĂȘtre adaptĂ©es aux
conditions locales.
4. Evitez le dépassement de perçage ou de vis sur la face arriÚre!
Utilisez le cas échéant une butée de perçage ou raccourcissez les vis de fixation.
Lors du perçage, Ă©vitez d’endommager les Ă©lĂ©ments mobiles, les joints ou les vitres.
Montage du boĂźtier:
DĂ©posez le cache du boĂźtier (1) par le bas en appuyant sur des points d’appui
(voir schĂ©ma 5). DĂ©verrouillez les pĂȘnes.
Maintenez le boĂźtier (1) dans la position dĂ©sirĂ©e sur le vantail ou sur l’encadrement
la fenĂȘtre. Distance du bord 2 mm (voir schĂ©ma 3).
Tracez et prĂ©forez les fixations de vis et (et , uniquement sur des fenĂȘtresE F G
et portes-fenĂȘtres en PVC) (voir schĂ©ma 7 et tableau de perçage).
Fixez le boĂźtier (1). Fixations de vis : (en fonction de la hauteur de rainure)E
vis de 4,2 x 16 mm ou de 4,2 x 9,5 mm (utilisez un tournevis Ă  tĂȘte aimantĂ©e).
Fixations de vis ): vis de 5,5 x 60 mm (voir schéma 4 +7).F G (
Montage de la gĂąche:
Le boĂźtier (1) et la gĂąche (2) doivent se trouver Ă  la mĂȘme hauteur (voir schĂ©ma 3).
Pour Ă©galiser les diffĂ©rentes hauteurs du recouvrement la gĂąche (2) doit ĂȘtre rehaussĂ©.
C’est à cela que servent la platine de fixation (3) et/ou les entretoises (7).
Recouvrement: supérieure à 14 mm [avec platine de fixation (3) et éventuellement
des entretoises (7)].
Maintenez la platine de fixation (3) (d’une hauteur de 14 mm) centrĂ©e, Ă  la mĂȘme
hauteur et Ă  une mĂȘme distance de 3 mm en parallĂšle au boĂźtier (1) (voir schĂ©ma 3).
Assurez-vous de la bonne position de la platine de fixation (3) (voir t schéma 3).
Tracez et préforez les fixations de vis (voir schéma 8, tableau de perçage).A11, 12 et
Rehaussez selon les besoins (profondeur de rainure supérieure à 14 mm) la platine
de fixation (3) au moyen des entretoises (7). Fixez-la avec des vis de 5,5 x 60 mm
(voir schéma 10).
PrĂ©forez de biais dans le mĂȘme angle et au travers des fixations de vis dans la paroiC
(voir tableau de perçage). Si cela s’avùre impossible, forez dans le sens perpendiculaire.
Dans ce cas, posez les entretoises coniques (6) dans les trous de fixation C
(voir schéma 14 +15).
Installez d’autres vis de 5,5 x 60 mm dans les fixations C.
DĂ©posez le cache (5) de la gĂąche (2) par le bas en appuyant sur les points d’appui.
Fixez la gùche (2) sur la platine de fixation (3) avec 3 vis M6 x 25 mm (voir schéma 16).
Recouvrement: 0–13 mm (Ă©ventuellement avec entretoises)
DĂ©posez le cache (5) de la gĂąche (2) par le bas en appuyant sur des points d’appui.
Maintenez la platine de fixation (2) centrĂ©e, Ă  la mĂȘme hauteur et Ă  une mĂȘme distance
de 3 mm en parallÚle au boßtier (1) (voir schéma 3).
Tracez les fixations de vis (voir schéma 9) et préforez (voir tableau de perçage).D1 D3à
Ajustez la hauteur de la gĂąche (2) selon les besoins avec des entretoises (7) et fixez-le avec
3 vis (8) de 5,5 x 60 mm.
ContrĂŽlez le bon fonctionnement: Lors de la fermeture, les pĂȘnes doivent coulisser
librement dans la gĂąche (2).
Montage sur la FTS 96: presser sur les deux couverles (4+ 5).
Montage sur la FTS 96 E: voir au verso!
VI. Utilisation
La fermeture de FTS 96 s’effectue sans clĂ©, en tournant le bouton.
Pour l’ouverture, la clĂ© est requise.

I. Allgemeine Hinweise
Das Fenster-Universalschloss FTS 96 ist nach den strengen PrĂŒfanforderungen der
DIN 18 104-1 und VdS 2536 anerkannt. Durch DIN Certco ist FTS 96 zertifiziert
„EINBRUCHHEMMEND DIN-geprĂŒft“. FTS 96 bietet zusĂ€tzlich Schutz gegen unberech-
tigtes Eindringen in ihre RĂ€ume. GemĂ€ĂŸ DIN 18 104-1 wird empfohlen, dass pro 1 Meter
Fensterhöhe rechts und links jeweils eine Zusatzsicherung montiert wird (pro Fenster).
Polizei und Versicherer empfehlen dieses ebenfalls.
Die optimale Schutzwirkung erreichen Sie, wenn Sie entsprechend dieser Montage- und
Bedienungsanleitung vorgehen. Die Befestigungsschrauben sollten zur Vermeidung von
Überdrehung mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug eingeschraubt und von Hand angezogen
werden. Ausschließlich ABUS-Befestigungsmaterial einsetzen.
FĂŒr eventuell auftretende Verletzungen bzw. SchĂ€den, die bei der Montage und/oder
durch unsachgemĂ€ĂŸe Handhabung entstehen, ĂŒbernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung!

II. Einsatzmöglichkeit
FTS 96 wird auf der Griffseite des Fensters oder der FenstertĂŒr montiert und eignet sich
fĂŒr alle gĂ€ngigen nach innen öffnende Fenster/FenstertĂŒren mit Dreh- oder Dreh-Kipp-
BeschlÀgen (Abb. 1). Die Montage kann auf den Werkstoffen Kunststoff, Holz oder Alu
erfolgen. Die Fenster/FenstertĂŒren können nach rechts oder links öffnen.
FTS 96 wird grundsÀtzlich auf der Innenseite montiert, der Schlosskasten auf dem Fenster-
flĂŒgel und der Schließkasten auf dem Rahmen.
Bei schlechten Befestigungsmöglichkeiten (Weichholz- oder Kunststofffenster) sollten
mehrere Sicherungen und zusÀtzlich Befestigungsmittel (Befestigungsanker oder
Verbundmörtel) ABUS-Befestigungs-eingesetzt werden. Hierzu verwenden Sie bitte den
anker BA (Kunststoff-, Weichholz-, Alufenster) oder alternativ das ABUS-Befestigungsset
IM 100 IM 100 (Kunststofffenster). Zu benötigen Sie einen geeigneten Verbundmörtel,
z.B. der Marke Fischer, Hilti oder ein Àhnliches Produkt. ABUS BA und ABUS IM 100 sowie
Verbundmörtel sind im Handel erhÀltlich.
Die in Abb. 2 zusÀtzlich gezeigten ABUS-Produkte (FAS) sind ebenfalls im Handel erhÀltlich.

I. Allgemeines und Batteriehinweise
Es gelten grundsÀtzlich die allgemeinen Hinweise, die Sie umseitig unter Punkt I. finden.
ZusÀtzlich sind folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
Dieses Produkt erfĂŒllt die Anforderungen der geltenden europĂ€ischen und nationalen Richtlinien.
Die KonformitÀt wurde nachgewiesen, die entsprechenden ErklÀrungen und Unterlagen sind beim
Hersteller (www.abus-sc.com) hinterlegt.Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb
sicherzustellen, muss der Anwender diese Installationsanleitung beachten. Das gesamte Produkt darf
nicht geĂ€ndert bzw. umgebaut werden. Das gilt besonders fĂŒr die interne Antenne und den Dreh-
kondensator. Ebenfalls sollte ein Fingerkontakt mit der Platine vermieden werden. Der zugelassene
Einsatztemperaturbereich betrĂ€gt –10 C bis +55 C bei einer maximalen Luftfeuchtigkeit von 90%.° °
Weder der Verfasser noch ABUS-SC kann eine Haftung fĂŒr einen Verlust oder Schaden ĂŒbernehmen,

Batteriehinweise:
Das GerĂ€t wird mit Gleichspannung ĂŒber zwei StĂŒck 1,5V LR03/AAA Alkaline-Batterien versorgt,
die im Lieferumfang enthalten sind.
Beim Einlegen der Batterien ist auf richtige PolaritÀt zu achten. Um eine lange Lebensdauer zu
gewÀhrleisten und BrÀnde und Verletzungen zu vermeiden, sind folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
‱ GemĂ€ĂŸ Batterieverordnung ist die Entsorgung von Batterien ĂŒber den HausmĂŒll verboten,
diese mĂŒssen an gekennzeichneten Sammelstellen abgegeben werden.
‱ Batterien dĂŒrfen weder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung noch anderen WĂ€rmequellen ausgesetzt,
oder an Orten mit sehr hohen Temperaturen aufbewahrt werden.
‱ Batterien gehören nicht in KinderhĂ€nde und sind nicht wieder aufladbar.
‱ Batterien dĂŒrfen nicht
– zerlegt, angestochen oder beschĂ€digt werden,
– verbrannt werden,
– mit Wasser in BerĂŒhrung kommen,
– kurzgeschlossen werden.
II. Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Auch hier gelten die umseitigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten unter Punkt II.
ZusÀtzlich sind folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
Die Montage der FTS 96 E darf, im Gegensatz zur normalen FTS 96, nur auf der senkrechten Griffseite
eines Fensters oder einer FenstertĂŒr erfolgen.
Die Funk-Fenstersicherung FTS 96 E bietet einerseits zusÀtzlich Schutz gegen unberechtigtes Eindringen
in RÀume und kann andererseits eine Zustandsmeldung (Fenster geöffnet oder Fenster verriegelt und
Sicherung im Eingriff) an das separate ABUS Funk-Anzeigemodul FA 01 und/oder einen Einbruchsversuch
an die ABUS-Alarmanlage Secvest und ĂŒber ein Funkerweiterungsmodul auch an die verdrahtete ABUS-
Alarmanlage Terxon melden. Die Funkreichweite im GebÀudeinneren betrÀgt ca. 30 m und ist abhÀngig
von der Bausubstanz des GebÀudes sowie den sonstigen Umweltbedingungen.
Optional besteht die Möglichkeit des Anschlusses eines separaten passiven Glasbruchmelders an
die FTS 96 E (siehe dazu Punkt V. Montage, Einlernvorgang und weitere Anschlussmöglichkeiten).
III. Packungsinhalt
ZusĂ€tzlich zu den umseitig unter Punkt III. aufgefĂŒhrten Einzelteilen (außer Teile 4 und 5) gehören bei
der FTS 96 E folgende weitere Einzelteile zum Lieferumfang:

V. Montage, Einlernvorgang und weitere Anschlussmöglichkeiten
V.1 Montage:
Die Montage der mechanischen Komponenten erfolgt gemĂ€ĂŸ umseitiger Montageanleitung unter
Punkt V. bis zu der gekennzeichneten Stelle.
Danach ist mit der Montage der Elektronikkomponenten wie folgt fortzufahren:
‱Wichtig: Der montierte Schlosskasten (1) muss unverriegelt sein.
‱ Elektronikaufsatz (15) auf den Schlosskasten (1) lagerichtig aufsetzen und festdrĂŒcken (Abb. 19).
‱ Abdeckhaube (17) auf Schließkasten (2) lagerichtig aufdrĂŒcken.
– Bei Montage des Schließkastens (2) ohne Anschraubleiste (3) sind die Überstande der Haube
– entsprechend der Höhe der Unterlagen abzuschneiden (Abb. 20 + 21).
‱ Die Drehknopf-Abdeckhaube darf erst nach dem Einlernvorgang aufgesetzt werden.
V.2 Einlernvorgang:
‱ Batterien polungsrichtig in FTS 96 E einlegen (Abb. 22).
‱ An FA 01, Secvest oder Terxon Funkerweiterung muss die Zone festgelegt werden, auf der die FTS 96 E
eingelernt werden soll (siehe hierzu die Montageanleitung des entsprechenden GerÀtes).
‱ Sabotageschalter von Hand kurz betĂ€tigen und wieder loslassen (Abb. 23).
‱ Durch das Öffnen des Kontaktes wird die FTS 96 E mit einem Funksignal in das Funkanzeigemodul
FA 01, die Secvest oder per Infrarot an die Funkerweiterung der Terxon (hierbei die darauf zu achten,
dass der Abstand der beiden LED’s 10 – 20 mm betrĂ€gt) eingelernt (Abb. 23).
‱ An FA 01, Secvest oder Terxon Funkerweiterung wird das erfolgreiche Einlernen akustisch quittiert.
‱ Drehknopf-Abdeckung (14) lagerichtig auf den Drehknopf aufsetzen und festdrĂŒcken (Abb. 24).
‱Nach dem erfolgreichen Einlernen der FTS 96 E an FA 01, Secvest oder Terxon Funkerweiterung die
Abdeckhaube (18) aufsetzen (Abb. 25).
‱ Zum Einlernen von weiteren FTS 96 E die entsprechenden Zonen auswĂ€hlen, Vorgehensweise ent-
sprechend Punkt 2.
‱ Die eingelernte Zone der FTS 96 E geht bei einem Batteriewechsel nicht verloren.
‱ Es kann nur eine FTS 96 E pro Zone eingelernt werden, jedoch kann eine FTS 96 E sowohl an FA 01
als auch an Secvest oder Terxon Funkerweiterung eingelernt werden.
V.3 Weitere Anschlussmöglichkeiten
V.3.1 Anschluss eines Glasbruchmelders an FTS 96 E:
‱ Ein passiver Glasbruchmelder kann per Kabel an die Anschlussklemme (Abb. 23) der FTS 96 E ange-
schlossen werden. Dazu ist die vorhandene BrĂŒcke zu entfernen.
‱ Der Glasbruchmelder nutzt dann im Alarmfall das Funkmodul der FTS 96 E zur SignalĂŒbertragung an
die Secvest/Terxon.
‱ Die Abdeckhaube (18) fĂŒr die KabeldurchfĂŒhrung des Glasbruchmelders muss an der perforierten Stelle
so ausgearbeitet werden, dass das Kabel gut durchpasst (Abb. 26).
‱ Informationen zur Installation und zur Positionierung eines Glasbruchmelders sind in der Anleitung
des entsprechenden GerÀtes zu finden.
VI. Bedienung und Batteriewechsel
VI.1 Bedienung:
FTS 96 E lĂ€sst sich ohne SchlĂŒssel durch Drehen des Knopfes verriegeln.
Zum Öffnen wird mit dem SchlĂŒssel entriegelt und der Drehknopf zurĂŒckgedreht.
Bei jedem Verriegeln mittels Drehknopf eines zuvor geschlossenen Fensters wird von der FTS 96 E ein
Funksignal abgesetzt, das im separaten ABUS Anzeigemodul FA 01 oder der ABUS-Alarmanlage Secvest/
Terxon verarbeitet wird. Dieses bewirkt entweder eine Änderung der Anzeige am FA 01 (Umschaltung
von roter auf grĂŒne LED) oder eine StatusĂ€nderung „Zone geschlossen“ an der Secvest/Terxon. Bei jedem
Entriegeln der FTS 96 E wird wiederum ein Funksignal von der FTS 96 E abgesetzt und im jeweiligen GerÀt
verarbeitet. Durch das Entriegeln wird am FA 01 die LED von grĂŒn auf rot umgeschaltet oder die Status-
meldung „Zone geöffnet“ an Secvest/Terxon erzeugt. In AbstĂ€nden von etwa 4 Minuten sendet die
FTS 96 E eine Meldung ĂŒber den Status der Fenster und den Batteriezustand an das Anzeigemodul FA 01
oder die Alarmzentrale.
VI.2 Batteriewechsel:
‱ Der Batteriestatus der FTS 96 E wird mit dem Funksignal ĂŒbertragen.
‱ Ein notwendiger Batteriewechsel wird ĂŒber eine Meldung (Low Batt) an FA 01 oder Secvest/Terxon
angezeigt.
‱ Wenn die FTS 96 E in die ABUS Alarmanlage Secvest/Terxon eingelernt ist, muss die Alarmanlage vor
einem Batteriewechsel in den Errichtermodus gesetzt werden, da ansonsten durch den betÀtigten
Sabotagekontakt ein Alarm ausgelöst werden wĂŒrde (siehe dazu Bedienungsanleitung der jeweiligen
Alarmanlage).
‱ Zum Batteriewechsel Abdeckhaube (18) entfernen.
‱ Alte Batterien entnehmen und neue Batterien polungsrichtig einlegen (Abb. 22).
‱ Anschließend Abdeckhaube (18) wieder aufsetzen, wodurch der Sabotageschalter erneut betĂ€tigt
wird und die FTS 96 E wieder an FA 01 oder Secvest/Terxon angemeldet wird (Zonenbelegung bleibt
erhalten).

I. General information and battery instructions
The general instructions, which you can find in Point I., always apply.
In addition, follow the instructions below:
This product meets the requirements in the applicable European and national directives.
The conformity has been proven; the corresponding declarations and documentation are stored with
the manufacturer (www.abus-sc.com). To maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation,
the user must comply with these operating instructions. It is prohibited to change or alter anything
on or in the entire product. That especially applies to the internal antenna and the variable capacitor.
Likewise, avoid finger contact with the printed circuit board. The permitted operational temperature
range is –10 C to + 55 C at a maximum relative humidity of 90%. Neither the author nor ABUS-SC° °
assumes any liability for losses or damages resulting directly or indirectly from these instructions or
which the user claims originated because of them. The contents of these instructions can be revised
without notification.
The VdS approval relates solely to the mechanical section of the FTS 96 E.
The electronic components are not included in this approval.
Battery instructions:
The device is supplied with direct current via two 1.5V LR03/AAA alkaline batteries which are included
in the scope of delivery.
Make sure that you insert the batteries with the correct polarity. To ensure a long service life and to
prevent fires and injuries, follow the instructions below:
‱ According to the Battery Ordinance, disposing batteries through domestic waste is prohibited.
They must be delivered to designated collection points.
‱ Never expose batteries either directly to sunshine or to other heat sources.
Do not store them in places with very high temperatures.
‱ Batteries do not belong in children’s hands and are not rechargeable.
‱ Batteries must not
– be disassembled, punctured or damaged,
– be burned,
– come into contact with water,
– be short circuited.

In addition, follow the instructions below:
The FTS 96 E may be installed, in contrast to normal FTS 96s, only on the vertical handle side of a
window or French window.
The FTS 96 E radio-controlled window lock provides additional protection against unauthorized entry
into rooms and can additionally report a status message (window open or window locked and lock is
engaged) to the separate ABUS radio display module, the FA 01, and/or report an attempted burglary
to the ABUS alarm system, the Secvest and, via a radio-expansion module, also report to a hard-wired
ABUS Terxon alarm system. The radio range in the inside of buildings amounts to ca. 30 m and is
independent of the building substance and other environmental conditions.
Optionally, there is the possibility of connecting a separate passive glass-breakage alarm to the
FTS 96 E (see Point V. Installation, teaching process and other connection facilities about that).
III. Contents of package
In addition to the individual components listed on the reverse side in Point III. (excepting Parts 4
and 5), the following additional individual parts are included in the scope of delivery of the FTS 96 E:

V. Installation, teaching process and other connection facilities
V.1 Installation:
Install the mechanical components in accordance with the installation instructions in Point V, overleaf,
up to the marked point.
After that, continue with the installation of the electronic components as follows:
‱ .Important: The mounted lock casing (1) must be unlocked
‱ Place the electronic adapter cover (15) on the lock casing (1), correctly positioned, and press firmly
(fig. 19).
‱ Press cover (17) onto the lock casing (2) in the correct position.
– When installing the lock casing (2) without an attachment strip (3), cut off the overhangs on the
– cover according to the height of the support (figs. 20 + 21).
‱ Put on the rotary knob cover only the teaching process. after
V.2 Teaching process:
‱ Insert batteries correctly poled in the FTS 96 E (fig. 22).
‱ On FA 01, Secvest or the Terxon radio expansion, the zone needs to be determined for which the
FTS 96 E is to be taught (see the corresponding device operating instructions about this).
‱ Briefly activate the sabotage switch manually and then release it again (fig. 23).
‱ When the contacts are opened, the FTS 96 E is taught via a radio signal in the radio display module,
the FA01, die Secvest or per infrared to the radio expansion in the Terxon (here, ensure that the
distance between both LED’s is 10 – 20 mm) (fig. 23).
‱ On FA 01, Secvest or the Terxon radio expansion, successful teaching is acknowledged acoustically.
‱ Put the rotary knob cover (14) in the correct position on the rotary knob and press firmly (Fig. 24).
‱ After successfully teaching the FTS 96 E, place the cover (18) on the FA 01, Secvest or the Terxon
radio expansion (fig. 25).
‱ To teach additional FTS 96 Es, select the appropriate zones, procedure according to Point V.2.
‱ The taught zone for the FTS 96 E is not lost when replacing the battery.
‱ Only one FTS 96 E can be taught per zone. However, an FTS 96 E can be taught both on the FA 01
and on the Secvest or Terxon radio expansion.
V.3 Other connection facilities
V.3.1 Connecting a glass-breakage alarm to the FTS 96 E:
‱ A passive glass-breakage alarm can be connected via cable to the connection terminal (fig. 23)
on the FTS 96 E. To do that, remove the bridge.
‱ The glass-breakage alarm then uses the FTS 96 E radio module in the case of an alarm to transmit
the signal to the Secvest/Terxon.
‱ The cover (18) for cable routing the glass-breakage alarm must be worked into the perforated points
so that the cable fits through well (fig. 26).
‱ Information about installing and positioning a glass-breakage alarm can be found in the operating
instructions for the corresponding device.
VI. Operation and battery replacement
VI.1 Operation:
FTS 96 E can be locked without a key by turning the knob. To open, it is unlocked with the key and the
rotary knob is turned back.
Every time it is locked with the rotary knob in a previously closed window, the FTS 96 E emits a radio
signal that is processed separately in the ABUS FA 01 display module or the ABUS alarm system,
the Secvest/Terxon. This either causes a change in the display on the FA 01 (switchover from red to
green LED) or a status change “Zone Closed” on the Secvest/Terxon. Every time the FTS 96 E is
unlocked, a radio signal is again emitted from the FTS 96 E and processed in the respective device.
When the FA 01 is unlocked, the LED switches from green to red or the status message “Zone Open”
is generated on the Secvest/Terxon. In intervals of about 4 minutes, the FTS 96 E sends a message
about the window status and the battery condition to the FA 01 display module or the alarm
monitoring station.
VI.2 Battery replacement:
‱ The battery status in the FTS 96 E is transmitted via the radio signal.
‱ If the battery needs to be replaced, that is displayed with a message (Low Batt) on FA 01 or
Secvest/Terxon.
‱ If the FTS 96 E in the ABUS alarm system Secvest/Terxon has been taught, the alarm system
must be put into the set-up mode before replacing the battery; otherwise activating the
sabotage contact will trigger an alarm (see the respective alarm system operating instructions
about that).
‱ To replace the batteries, remove the cover (18).
‱ Remove the old batteries and insert the new batteries with the correct polarity (fig. 22).
‱ Then replace the cover (18), which also activates the sabotage switch again; the FTS 96 E
is once more logged onto the FA 01 or Secvest/Terxon (zone assignment remains applied).

A la diffĂ©rence de la sĂ©curitĂ© normale, la FTS 96, la FTS 96 E ne peut ĂȘtre montĂ©e que sur le cĂŽtĂ© de la
poignĂ©e de la fenĂȘtre ou de la porte-fenĂȘtre.
La sĂ©curitĂ© de fenĂȘtre sans fil FTS 96 E assure une protection optimale contre toute intrusion et peut
Ă©galement transmettre un message d’état (fenĂȘtre ouverte ou verrouillĂ©e et sĂ©curit dans la poignĂ©e)
au module d’affichage sans fil sĂ©parĂ© ABUS FA 01 et/ou une tentative d’infraction Ă  la centrale d’alarme
ABUS Secvest et, via un module d’extension sans fil, Ă©galement Ă  la centrale d’alarme cĂąblĂ©e ABUS Terxon.
La distance de rĂ©ception Ă  l’intĂ©rieur des bĂątiments est d’env.30 m; elle est fonction de la substance des
volumes bĂątis ainsi que des diverses conditions environnementales.
En option, on peut également raccorder un détecteur de bris de verre passif séparé à la sécurité FTS 96 E
(voir à ce sujet le point V. Montage, programmation et autres possibilités de raccordement).

V. Montage, programmation et autres possibilités de raccordement
V.1 Montage:
Le montage des Ă©lĂ©ments mĂ©caniques et le positionnement s’effectuent conformĂ©ment aux instructions
de montage mentionnées au point V. au verso.
Poursuivre ensuite le montage des éléments électroniques comme suit:
‱Important: Ne pas le boĂźtier installĂ© (1). verrouiller
‱ Placer le module Ă©lectronique (15) correctement sur le boĂźtier (1) et appuyer fortement (schĂ©ma 19).
‱ Presser le couvercle (17) sur la gñche (2) dans la bonne position.
– Pour monter la gĂąche (2) sans socle de fixation (3), couper les bords du couvercle qui dĂ©passent,
– en fonction de la hauteur de l’entretoise (schĂ©ma 20 + 21)
‱ N’insĂ©rer le dessus du bouton tournant la programmation. qu’aprĂšs
V.2 Programmation :
‱ InsĂ©rer les piles dans la FTS 96 E en observant la polaritĂ© (schĂ©ma 22).
‱ En cas de raccordement avec le module d’affichage FA 01 et le module d’extension à la centrale
d’alarme Secvest ou Terxon, dĂ©terminer la zone pour laquelle la sĂ©curitĂ© FTS 96 E doit ĂȘtre programmĂ©e
(voir à ce sujet les instructions de montage de l’appareil correspondant).
‱ Actionner briĂšvement le commutateur de sabotage de la main et le relĂącher (schĂ©ma 23).
‱ Suite Ă  l’ouverture du contact, la sĂ©curitĂ© FTS 96 E est programmĂ©e par signal radio dans le module
d’affichage sans fil FA 01, la centrale d’alarme Secvest ou par infrarouge à l’extension sans fil de la
Terxon (observer ici que l’écart entre les deux DEL est de 10 – 20 mm) (schĂ©ma 23).
‱ En cas de raccordement avec le module d’affichage FA 01, le module d’extension des centrales d’alarme
Secvest ou Terxon, la programmation est confirmée par un message acoustique.
‱ InsĂ©rer le dessus du bouton tournant (14) sur le bouton et bien appuyer (schĂ©ma 24).
‱Aprùs la programmation de la FTS 96 E au module d’affichage FA 01 et au module d’extension des
centrales d’alarme Secvest ou Terxon, insĂ©rer le couvercle (18) (schĂ©ma 25).
‱ Pour programmer d’autres sĂ©curitĂ©s FTS 96 E, sĂ©lectionner les zones correspondantes en procĂ©dant
comme indiqué au point V.2.
‱ La programmation de la zone sur la sĂ©curitĂ© FTS 96 E n’est pas effacĂ©e lors d’un Ă©change de piles.
‱ Il ne peut y avoir qu’une seule sĂ©curitĂ© FTS 96 E programmĂ©e par zone, une FTS 96 E pouvant
nĂ©anmoins ĂȘtre programmĂ©e aussi bien au module d’affichage FA 01 qu’au module d'extension sans fil
des centrales d’alarme Secvest ou Terxon.
V.3 Autres possibilités de raccordement
V.3.1 Raccordement d’un dĂ©tecteur de bris de verre au FTS 96 E:
‱ Un dĂ©tecteur de bris de verre peut ĂȘtre raccordĂ© Ă  la borne de raccord (schĂ©ma 23) de la FTS 96 E
à l’aide d’un cñble. Pour cela, enlever le pont existant.
‱ En cas d’alarme, le dĂ©tecteur de bris de verre utilise alors le module radio de la FTS 96 E pour
transmettre le signal à la centrale d’alarme Secvest/Terxon.
‱ Le couvercle (18) pour le passage du cĂąble du dĂ©tecteur de bris de verre doit ĂȘtre tel que le cĂąble
ait suffisamment de place (schéma 26).
‱ Vous trouverez de plus amples informations relatives à l’installation et au positionnement d’un
dĂ©tecteur de bris de verre dans le manuel de service de l’appareil correspondant.
VI. Utilisation et Ă©change des piles
VI.1 Utilisation:
FTS 96 E se verrouille sans clé en tournant tout simplement le bouton.
Pour l’ouvrir, dĂ©verrouiller avec la clĂ© et tourner le bouton dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
Chaque fois qu’une fenĂȘtre qui Ă©tait fermĂ©e auparavant est dĂ©verrouillĂ©e avec le bouton rotatif,
la FTS 96 E Ă©met un signal radio qui est interprĂ©tĂ© dans le module d’affichage sĂ©parĂ© ABUS FA 01 ou dans
les centrales d’alarme ABUS Secvest/Terxon. Cela entraüne soit une modification de l’affichage sur le FA 01
(passage de la DEL du rouge au vert) soit une modification d’état «Zone fermĂ©e» Ă  la centrale d'alarme
Secvest/Terxon. A chaque déverrouillage de la sécurité FTS 96 E, la FTS 96 E émet un signal radio qui est
interprĂ©tĂ© dans l’appareil respectif. Le dĂ©verrouillage entraĂźne le passage de la DEL du vert au rouge ou la
gĂ©nĂ©ration du message d’état «Zone ouverte» Ă  la centrale d’alarme Secvest/Terxon. Environ toutes les
4 minutes, la FTS 96 E envoie un message au module d’affichage FA 01 ou Ă  la centrale d'alarme sur l’état
des fenĂȘtres et sur l’état des piles.
VI.2 Echange des piles:
‱ L’état des piles de la FTS 96 E est transmis par signal radio.
‱ La nĂ©cessitĂ© d’un Ă©change de piles est indiquĂ©e par un message (Low Batt) au module FA 01 ou Ă  la
centrale d’alarme Secvest/Terxon.
‱ Lorsque la FTS 96 E est programmĂ©e dans la centrale d’alarme ABUS Secvest/Terxon, la centrale
d’alarme doit ĂȘtre mise en mode de programmation avant d’echanger les piles, sinon l’actionnement
du contact de sabotage déclencherait une alarme (voir à ce sujet le manuel de service de la centrale
d’alarme respective).
‱ Pour Ă©changer les piles, enlever le couvercle (18).
‱ Retirer les piles usagĂ©es et insĂ©rer des piles neuves en observant la polaritĂ© (schĂ©ma 22).
‱ Remettre ensuite le couvercle (18); le commutateur de sabotage est alors Ă  nouveau actionnĂ©
et la FTS 96 E est Ă  nouveau raccordĂ©e au module FA 01 ou Ă  la centrale d’alarme Secvest/Terxon
(la zone programmée est maintenue).

I. Istruzioni generali
La sicura per cerniere di finestre FTS 96 Ăš conforme ai severi requisiti di controllo della
DIN 18 104-1 e della VdS 2536. Con la DIN Certco essa Ú certificata come «ANTISCASSO
conf. DIN». La FTS 96 garantisce una protezione in piĂč a difesa della Vostra casa.
Secondo DIN 18104-1 si consiglia di montare per ogni metro di altezza della finestra,
una sicura supplementare sul lato destro e una sul lato sinistro (per ogni finestra).
Anche la polizia e le compagnie d’assicurazione consigliano tali misure.
Si puĂČ ottenere una protezione ottimale, procedendo secondo queste istruzioni di
montaggio ed uso. Le viti di fissaggio, per evitarne un serraggio eccessivo, devono essere
avvitate con un utensile adatto e poi serrate a mano. Impiegare esclusivamente materiale
di fissaggio ABUS.
Per eventuali ferimenti e/o danni, che si verificano durante il montaggio e/o per maneggio
indebito, il produttore non si assume alcuna responsabilitĂ !
II. Possibilità d’impiego
La FTS 96 viene montata sul lato della cerniera della finestra o della porta-finestra
ed ù adatta per tutte le normali finestre e porte-finestre che si aprono verso l’interno,
con ferramenti girevoli o girevoli- a bilico (ill. 1). Si puĂČ montare la FTS 96 su legno,
plastica o alluminio. Le finestre/porte-finestre possono aprirsi verso destra o verso sinistra.
Di solito la FTS 96 viene montata all’interno, la lamiera del battente sul battente della
finestra ed il listello del telaio sul telaio.
Se le possibilitĂ  di fissaggio sono scadenti (sottofondo morbido o vuoto o riempito con
espanso e finestre in plastica con o senza inserto metallico e finestre in legno) e le
possibilitĂ  di effrazione dall’esterno sono buone, si dovrebbero utilizzare piĂč sicure e
mezzi di fissaggio supplementari (malta o avvitamento passante bullone di fissaggio).o
Se i telai stessi sono troppo deboli, per poterli allestire adeguatamente in un secondo
tempo, potrebbe essere consigliabile rinforzare, per esempio, i telai stessi.
Allo scopo utilizzare per favore il o come alternativa, nelbullone di fissaggio ABUS BA
caso di telai in plastica, il kit di fissaggio ABUS IM 100. Per il IM 100 serve una malta
adatta, p.e. della marca Fischer, Hilti o un prodotto simile. ABUS BA e ABUS IM 100 come
anche la malta si possono acquistare. I prodotti ABUS mostrati inoltre nel’ill. 2 (FAS)
sono anche reperibili in commercio.

I. Generel information
Vindues-universallÄsen FTS 96 er godkendt i henhold til de strenge prÞvningskrav,
der fĂžlger af DIN 18104-1 og VdS 2536. Gennem DIN Certco er FTS 96 certificeret
„INDBRUDSFORHINDRENDE DIN-testet“. FTS 96 giver tillige beskyttelse mod ulovlig
indtrĂŠngen. I overensstemmelse med DIN 18 104 -1 anbefales det, at der monteres en
ekstrasikring pr. 1 meters vindueshĂžjde til hĂžjre og venstre (pr. vindue). Dette anbefale
ligeledes af politi og forsikringsselskaber. Den optimale beskyttelseseffekt opnÄs, hvis d
gÄr frem efter denne monterings- og betjeningsvejledning. FastgÞrelsesskruerne skal s
i med et egnet vÊrktÞj, som forhindrer overskruning, og spÊndes til med hÄnden.
Anvend udelukkende fastgĂžringsmateriale fra ABUS.
Producenten kan ikke pÄtage sig ansvaret for eventuel personskade eller materiel skad
der mÄtte opstÄ under monteringen og/eller som fÞlge af usagkyndigt udfÞrt arbejde!
Den samlede bygning skal kunne Ă„bnes udefra med en nĂžgle.
II. Anvendelsesmuligheder
FTS 96 monteres pÄ grebsiden af vinduet eller den franske dÞr og egner sig til alle
gĂŠngse vinduer/franske dĂžre med dreje- eller kipbeslag, der Ă„bner indad (fig. 1).
Montering kan foregÄ pÄ materialerne plast, trÊ eller aluminium.
Vinduerne/de franske dĂžre kan Ă„bne til hĂžjre eller venstre.
FTS 96 monteres principielt pÄ den indvendige side, lÄsekassen pÄ vinduesflÞjen og
lukkekassen pÄ rammen.
Er fastgÞrelsesmulighederne dÄrlige (vindue af blÞdt trÊ eller plast), skal der anvendes
flere sikringer og desuden fastgĂžrelsesmidler (fastgĂžrelsesanker eller kompoundmĂžrt
Benyt her venligst (vinduer af plast, blĂždt trĂŠ, aluminium ABUS fastgĂžrelsesanker BA
eller alternativt ABUS fastgĂžrelsessĂŠt IM 100 (plastvinduer).
Til IM 100 skal du bruge en egnet kompoundmĂžrtel, f.eks. af mĂŠrket Fischer, Hilti elle
et lignende produkt.
ABUS BA og ABUS IM 100 samt kompoundmÞrtel fÄs i handelen.
De Þvrige ABUS-produkter, der fremgÄr af fig. 2 (FAS), kan ligeledes fÄs i handelen.

V. Istruzioni per il montaggio
Avvertenze importanti:
1. Prima del montaggio verificare per favore la regolazione della finestra risp. della
porta finestra. Se necessario registrare nuovamente i ferramenti affinché la finestra
(la porta-finestra) si chiuda e si apra perfettamente.
2. Verificare anche che le misure minime indicate nell’ill. 1 esistano nelle vostre finestre/
porte-finestre.
3. Le profonditĂ  per trapanare i fori, risp. le lunghezze delle viti devono essere adattate
alle condizioni particolari.
4. Evitare che la punta del trapano risp. la vite fuoriesca dall’altra parte!
Se necessario lavorare con arresto del trapano o accorciare le viti.
Quando si trapana, non danneggiare parti mobili, guarnizioni o vetri.
Montaggio della scatola della serratura:
Togliere il coperchietto (4) dalla scatola della serratura (1) premendo sui punti di incastro
dal basso (vedi ill. 5). Aprire il chiavistello.
Tenere la scatola della serratura (1) nella posizione desiderata sul battente della finestra
risp. della porta, distanza dal bordo 2 mm (vedi ill. 3).
Disegnare fori di trapanazione e (con finestre e porte in plastica anche ) e trapanareE F G
(vedi ill. 7 e tabella trapanazioni).
Avvitare la scatola della serratura (1). Fori A (secondo altezza d’incastro) viti 4,2 x 16 mm
o 4,2 x 9,5 mm (usare cacciavite con punta magnetica). Fori ) viti 5,5 x 60 mmF G (
(vedi ill. 4 +7).
Montaggio della cassa della serratura:
Scatola della serratura (1) e cassa della serratura (2) devono stare sullo stesso livello
(vedi ill. 3) Per compensare le diverse altezze di incastro, sotto la cassa della serratura (2)
si mettono spessori. Allo scopo si utilizzano il listello da avvitare (3) e/o gli spessori (7).
Altezza d’incassatura: a partire da 14 mm [con listello da avvitare (3) e in caso
spessori (7)].
Avvitare il listello (3) (alto 14 mm) centrato alla stessa altezza e tenere a distanza
parallela di 3 mm rispetto alla scatola della serratura (1) (vedi ill. 3). Fare attenzione alla
giusta posizione del listello da avvitare (3) (vedi t ill. 3).
Disegnare le posizioni da trapanare (vedi ill. 8, tabella trapanazioni).A11, 12 e
Se necessario (altezza d’incastro superiore a 14 mm) mettere sotto il listello da avvitare
degli spessori (7). Avvitare saldamente con viti 5,5 x 60 mm (vedi ill. 10).
Trapanare attraverso i fori obliqui per le viti con la stessa angolatura, obliquamenteC
rispetto alla parete (vedi tabella trapanazioni). Se non fosse possibile, si puĂČ trapanare
anche perpendicolarmente. Poi mettere nei fori le due rondelle a cuneo (6)C
(vedi ill. 14 + 15).
Nei fori avvitare altre viti 5,5 x 60 mm.C
Rimuovere il coperchietto (5) dalla cassa della serratura (2) premendo sui punti di incastro
dal basso.
Avvitare la cassa della serratura (2) con 3 viti M 6x 25 al listello (3) (vedi ill. 16).
ltezza di incastro: da 0 a 13 mm (se necessario con spessori).
Rimuovere il coperchietto (5) dalla cassa della serratura (2) premendo sui
punti di incastro dal basso.
Tenere la cassa della serratura (2) centrata alla stessa altezza e a distanza
parallela di 3 mm dalla scatola della serratura (1) (vedi ill. 3).
Disegnare posizioni di trapanazione da D1 a D3 (vedi ill. 12) e trapanare (vedi tabella
trapanazioni).
Se necessario mettere sotto alla cassa della serratura (2) spessori (7) e avvitare salda-
mente con 3 viti (8) 5,5 x 60 mm.
Controllare il funzionamento: I chiavistelli devono poter scorrere liberamente quando
si chiudono nella cassa della serratura (2).
Per il montaggio del FTS 96: montare le due coperture (4 + 5) facendole incastrare.
Per il montaggio del FTS 96 E: vedi retro!
VI. Uso
FTS 96 si puĂČ chiudere senza chiave, girando il pomello (in caso impostare il codice).
Per aprire, si usa la chiave.

V. Montage-instructies
Belangrijke opmerkingen:
1. Voor de montage dient u de afstelling van het raam resp. deur te controleren.
Stel evt. het beslag opnieuw in, zodat het correct functioneert.
2. Meet ook na of de in afb. 1 aangegeven minimum afmetingen daadwerkelijk
op uw raam/deur beschikbaar zijn.
3. De boordieptes en schroeflengtes moeten aan het gevelelement aangepast worden.
4. Voorkom doorboren en/of -schroeven. Evt. met een booraanslag werken, kortere
schroeven kopen of inkorten. Bij het boren geen bewegende delen, afdichtingen of glas
beschadigen.
Montage van de slotkast:
De afdekkap van de slotkast (1) door druk op de vergrendelingspunten van onder af
verwijderen (zie afb. 5). Schoten uit de slotkast draaien.
Slotkast (1) op de gewenste positie op het raam/de deur plaatsen. Afstand t.o.v. de
raamkant resp. deurkant 2 mm (zie afb. 3).
Boorpositie E en F (bij kunststof ook G) aftekenen en voorboren (zie afb. 7 en boortabel).
Slotkast (1) monteren. Boorgaten (afhankelijk van de opdekmaat) met schroevenE
4,2 x 16 mm of 4,2 x 9,5 mm (schroevendraaier met magneetpunt gebruiken) /
boorgaten F (G) met schroeven 5,5 x 60 mm (zie afb. 4 + 7).
Montage van de sluitkast:
Slotkast (1) en sluitpkast (2) moeten op hezelfde niveau liggen (zie afb. 3).
Ter compensatie van de verschillende opdekmaten wordt de sluitkast (2) opgevuld.
Hiervoor dient de montageplaat (3) en evt. opvulplaatjes (7).
Opdekmaat > 14 mm

Werking controleren: De schoten moeten bij het vergendelen vrij in de sluitplaat (2)
lopen.
Bij de montage van FTS 96: Beide afdekkappen (4 +5) erop drukken.

VI. Gebruik
FTS 96 kan zonder sleutel m.b.v. de draaiknop vergrendeld worden.
Voor het ontgrendelen is de sleutel nodig.

I. Algemeen
Bijzetgrendel voor naar binnen draaiende draai/kiep elementen.
FTS 96 is volgens keuringseisen NEN 5096 SKG gecertificeerd.
De FTS 96 biedt daarnaast bescherming tegen onbevoegd binnendringen van uw woning.
Advies: monteer aan de sluitzijde voor maximale veiligheid 2 stuks per 1 meter raam-
hoogte. Op kunststof zonder metalen kern dient u dit slot in combinatie met ABUS BA
bevestigingsanker te monteren. Optioneel verkrijgbaar, zie voor montage in de handleiding
van BA.
Optimale veiligheid wordt bereikt door nauwkeurig opvolgen van deze montage- en
gebruiksaanwijzing. Om overexpansie of doldraaien van de bevestigingsschroeven te
vermijden, draait u handmatig en met passend gereedschap de schroeven vast.
Voor eventueel verwondingen en/of schade tijdens montage en/of door ondeskundig
gebruik ontstaan, aanvaardt de fabrikant geen aansprakelijkheid!
II. Toepassingsmogelijkheden
De FTS 96 wordt aan de sluitzijde van het raam of deur gemonteerd en is geschikt voor
alle gangbare naar binnen draaiende ramen en deuren met draai(/kiep)-beslag
(afb. 1). De montage kan op de materialen hout, kunststof of aluminium worden
uitgevoerd. De ramen/deuren kunnen naar rechts of links opengaan.
FTS 96 wordt principe uitsluitend ann de binnenkant gemonteerd; de slotkast op het raam
of de deur en de sluitkast op het kozijn.
Bij slechte bevestigingsmogelijkheden (zacht hout of kunststof) dienen meerdere
beveiligingen en extra beveiligingsmaterialen te worden toegepast. Hiervoor kunt u het
ABUS-bevestigingsanker BA (zacht hout, kunststof, aluminium) of de ABUS-bevestigings-
set IM 100 (kunststof) gebruiken. Voor de IM 100 heeft u een geschikt chemisch anker,
bijv. Fischer, Hilti of vergelijkbaar. ABUS BA, ABUS IM 100 en chemische ankers zijn in de
handel verkrijgbaar.
De in afb. 2 weergegeven ABUS-producten (FAS) zijn ook in de handel verkrijgbaar.

V. Montering
Vigtige anvisninger:
1. Kontroller vinduets eller den franske dĂžrs indstilling, fĂžr monteringsarbejdet
pÄbegyndes. VÊr sikker pÄ, at vinduet/dÞren kan Äbnes og lukkes uden problemer
2. MÄl ogsÄ efter, om minimumsmÄlene, som er angivet pÄ fig. 1, passer med dit
vindue/din dĂžr.
3. Dybden pÄ borehullerne samt skruelÊngder skal afpasses forholdene pÄ stedet.
4. Pas pÄ, at bor og skruer ikke trÊnger igennem pÄ bagsiden! Brug evt. et borstop,
eller afkort skruerne. Pas pÄ ikke at beskadige bevÊgelige dele, tÊtninger og glasru
nÄr du borer.
Montering af lÄsekasse:
Tag beskyttelseskappen (4) af lÄsekassen (1) nedefra, idet du trykker pÄ
indgrebspunkterne (se fig. 5). Skyd slÄen ud.
Hold lÄsekassen (1) Þnsket position pÄ vinduesflÞj/dÞrplade, afstand til flÞjkant 2 mm
(se fig. 3).
Afmérk boreposition og (kun ved plastvinduer og – dþre tillige ), (se fig. 7) og boE F G
for i henhold til boretabellen.
Skru lÄsekassen (1) pÄ. Til boringer A (alt efter falshÞjde) skruer 4,2 x 16 mm
eller 4,2 x 9,5 mm (brug skruetrĂŠkker med magnetspids). Til boringer F G ( )
skruer 5,5 x 60 mm (se fig. 4 +7).
Montering af lukkekasse:
LĂ„sekasse (1) og lukkekasse (2) skal vĂŠre i samme niveau (se fig. 3).
Til udligning af de forskellige falshĂžjder lĂŠgges lukkekassen (2) under.
Til det benyttes skruelisten (3) og/eller underlagene (7).
FalshĂžjde: Fra 14 mm [med skrueliste (3) og evt. underlag (7)].
Hold skruelisten (3) (14 mm oppe) centreret i samme hĂžjde og med en parallel afstan
pÄ 3 mm til lÄsekassen (1) (se fig. 3). SÞrg for, at skruelisten er i den rigtige position (3
(skruer t fig. 3).
AfmĂŠrk borepositioner , og bor for (se fig. 8, A11, 12 og boretabel).
Ved behov foretages underforing af skruelisten (3) (falshĂžjde over 14 mm) med under
(7). Skru fast med skruer 5,5 x 60 mm (se fig. 10).
Bor skrÄt for gennem de skrÄ skruehuller i retning mod vÊggen med den samme vinC
(se boretabel). Hvis dette ikke er muligt, kan de i stedet bores lodret. IndlĂŠg herefter d
kileformede mellemlĂŠgsskiver (6) i boringerne (se fig. 14 + 15).C
Skru yderligere skruer 5,5 x 60 mm i boringerne C.
Tag beskyttelseskappen (5) af lukkekassen (2) nedefra, idet du trykker pÄ
indgrebspunkterne.
Skru lukkekassen (2) pÄ skruelisten (3) med 3skruer M6 x 25mm i hullerne (se fig. 16)
FalshĂžjde: 0 til 13 mm (evt. med underlag).
Tag beskyttelseskappen (5) af lukkekassen (2) nedefra, idet du trykker pÄ
indgrebspunkterne.
Hold lukkekassen (2) centreret i samme hÞjde og med en parallel afstand pÄ 3 mm fra
lÄsekassen (1) (se fig. 3).
AfmĂŠrk boreposition D1 D3 til (se fig. 12), og bor for (se boretabel).
Ved behov foretages underforing af lukkekassen (2) med underlag (7), skru fast med
3 skruer 5,5 x 60 mm (8).
AfprÞv funktion: SlÄen skal lÞbe frit ved indskydning i lukkekassen (2).
Ved montering af FTS 96: Tryk de to beskyttelseskapper (4 + 5) pÄ.
Ved montering af FTS 96 E: Se bagside!
VI. Betjening
FTS 96 kan lÄses uden nÞgle ved at dreje knappen.
For at Äbne lÄses op med nÞgle, og drejeknappen drejes tilbage.
