Apple logo.

illuminate brieďŹy, if not, charge your Cover.
3. After charging, turn your Cover on. If the LED status light does not
illuminate, and your keyboard doesnât operate correctly, please contact
ZAGGâs customer support.
4. Forget and re-pair your Cover. On your iPad, select: Settings > General
> Bluetooth > On. If you see âZAGGkeys Coverâ listed as an available
device, touch the arrow to the right of it and choose to have your iPad
forget the device.
5. Push the PAIR button on your Cover and watch for the LED status light
to ďŹash blue.
6. Your iPad should display âZAGGkeys Coverâ as an available device.
Select it.
7. If your iPad gives you an error message, repeat the pairing process.
8. If you still canât get your Cover to pair, it is possible your iPad needs to
have its software updated.
To update your iPadâs software, follow these steps:
1. Plug your iPad into your computer, and open iTunesÂŽ.
2. In iTunes, select your iPad.
3. Choose to check for software updates.

contact ZAGGâs customer support for assistance.
To insert your iPad mini into the Cover,
start with the Coverâs keyboard in portrait
orientation with the hinge closed and on
the left. Then, with your iPad in portrait
mode and the volume control buttons
facing out (the Home button is on the
top), slide it into the hinge channel,
making sure it is ďŹrmly in place. For best
results, always insert your iPad with the
hinge closed and align its edges with your
Coverâs keyboard.
When your iPad is secure in the Cover,
you can open it, and cleverly placed
magnets, will activate your iPadâs
sleep/wake feature to help preserve
battery life. Simply open your Cover to
wake your iPad.
To easily remove your iPad, start with the
hinge closed. Open the hinge slightly
(enough that you can grasp the corner of
your iPad) and while securing the Cover,
pull your iPad away from the hinge.
To insert your iPad using the media mode,
start with the Coverâs keyboard in portrait
orientation with the hinge closed and on
the left. Then, with your iPad also in
portrait orientation (the Home button is
on the bottom), slide your iPad into the
hinge channel, making sure it is ďŹrmly in
place*. You will feel the magnets engage,
securing your device.
*NOTE: When your iPad is in media mode, it is somewhat
less secure in the channel as when in regular mode. Use
care when transporting it in this mode.
