Sound Enclosure Installation Guide

Step 1: To install the sound enclosure, rst you must remove the standard jar pad to access the screw holes on
the upper housing. This jar pad will not t properly with the sound enclosure. To remove it, peel it back,
starting in the corner and working your way over the drive coupling until it is completely off the base unit,
as seen in Figures 1, 2 and 3.
Step 2: Once the standard jar pad has been removed, nd the 3 screw holes located on the left, back and right
side of the upper housing as seen in Figures 4, 5 and 6.
Step 3: Place the base of the sound enclosure on the motor housing so the screw holes on the enclosure line up
with the screw holes on the base. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver and the 3 screws included with sound
enclosure to secure the enclosure to the base unit in the 3 locations as seen in Figures 7, 8 and 9.
Step 4: Once the sound enclosure is secured tightly, select the custom jar pad (included with sound enclosure).
Please note the standard jar pad will NOT t properly with the sound enclosure. The correct custom jar
pad has a recessed area around the outer edge. It also has a curved front with tabs on the sides, as seen
in Figures 10, 11, and 12. This curved area should face the front of the blender.
Step 5: Attach custom jar pad included with sound enclosure onto upper housing with the curve
facing out, as seen in Figure 13. Press tightly around coupling to secure custom jar pad onto
upper housing, as seen in Figures 14 and 15.

Paso 1: Para instalar el recinto de insonorización, primero se debe retirar el cojinete amortiguador estándar, el
cual no es compatible con el recinto. Para retirarlo, alce una esquina y jale hacia arriba, por encima del
acoplamiento de eje y hasta la otra esquina (ver las guras 1, 2 y 3).
Paso 2: Una vez retirado el cojinete estándar, note los oricios para tornillos ubicados en la izquierda, parte de
atrás y derecha de la base (ver las guras 4, 5 y 6).
Paso 3: Coloque el recinto de insonorización sobre la base, haciendo coincidir los oricios para tornillos del
recinto con los de la base. Sujete el recinto sobre la base usando un destornillador cruciforme y los tres
tornillos inclusos con el recinto (ver las guras 7, 8 y 9).
Paso 4: Una vez los tornillos apretados, instale el cojinete especial (incluido con el recinto de insonorización).
Nota: El cojinete amortiguador estándar NO es compatible con el recinto de insonorización. El cojinete
especial tiene un lo acanalado y un lado redondeado con lengüetas en los costados (ver las guras 10,
11 y 12). El lado redondeado debe apuntar hacia el frente del aparato.
Paso 5: Instale el cojinete amortiguador especial sobre la base del aparato, el lado redondeado apuntando hacia
el frente. Presione rmemente alrededor del acoplamiento de eje para sujetarlo (ver las guras 14 y 15).
