Congratulations! Your new long-lasting, high-performance Replacement Battery Cartridge (R.B.C.), properly selected, is designed to extend the life
of your UPS system. All R.B.C.s are valve-regulated and employ spill-proof construction. No special handling is required. R.B.C. cases (constructed
of either ABS plastic, styrene or polypropylene) are non-conductive and have a high resistance to shock, vibration, chemicals and heat. State-of-
the-art design techniques and high quality plate production processes used to construct your R.B.C. provide a battery with an extremely high energy
density and a superior power-to-volume and power-to-weight ratio. All R.B.C.s are certified to provide:
Compatibility with properly selected UPS systems
Completely maintenance-free operation
Rugged construction for long service life
High discharge rate with deep discharge recovery
Wide operating temperature range
Important Safety Instructions
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Read before attempting battery replacement! This manual contains important instructions and warnings that should be followed during the installation
and operation of all Tripp Lite Replacement Battery Cartridges (R.B.C.s).
Follow the original UPS system manufacturers instructions and safety information thoroughly before attempting replacement.
To eliminate high voltage shock hazard, be sure the UPS system is turned off and the power cord is unplugged from the AC outlet prior to battery
replacement. Some manufacturers permit “hot swap” battery replacement while the UPS system is powered. Consult your UPS system’s owner’s
manual for guidance.
Do not dispose of batteries in a re; they may explode.
Do not open or mutilate the battery. Chemicals released are harmful to the skin or eyes and may be toxic. Follow rst-aid procedures for chemical
burns in the event of exposure. Use appropriate protective clothing when handling a leaking battery.
Batteries can present a risk of electrical shock and burn from high short-circuit current. Observe proper precautions. Do not dispose of the batteries
in a re. Do not open the UPS or batteries. Do not short or bridge the battery terminals with any object. Unplug and turn off the UPS before
performing battery replacement. Use tools with insulated handles. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the UPS. Battery replacement should
be performed only by authorized service personnel using the same number and type of batteries (Sealed Lead-Acid). The batteries are recyclable.

Internal Battery Replacement
Under normal conditions, the original batteries in your UPS will last many years. See Safety section before replacing batteries. The batteries are
designed for hot-swap replacement (i.e. leaving the UPS ON), but some qualied service personnel may wish to completely turn the UPS OFF and
disconnect equipment before proceeding.
Recycling
Tripp Lite Replacement Battery Cartridges, as well as the UPS system batteries they
replace, are recyclable. For battery recycling in your area, visit www.tripplite.com/

ADDITIONAL RBC SELECTION
Tripp Lite provides a wide range of additional Replacement Battery Cartridges (R.B.C.s). Consult www.tripplite.com for the
most popular battery recommendations. When making your selection, whether or not your manufacturer and/or UPS system
model number is listed, it is prudent to verify the following information: battery voltage* [example, 12 V (Volts)]; battery
capacity* when optimally charged [example, 7.2 AH (Amp Hours)]; battery dimensions;** and battery quantity.***
* Usually marked on the battery.
** This is important because manufacturers sometimes change battery content without changing model numbers.
*** In multiple battery systems, manufacturers recommend that all batteries be replaced at the same time.
The policy of Tripp Lite is one of continuous improvement. Specications are subject to change without notice.

¡Felicitaciones!
No
