Hinweis zur mitgelieferten Software (Auto synchronizer)
Auto synchronizer ist auf dem Micro Vault Pro vorinstalliert. Damit werden Dokumente auf den
Computerfestplatten (in den angegebenen [My Documents]-Ordnern) automatisch mit dem Micro Vault Pro
synchronisiert. Außerdem können die letzten 10 Änderungen pro Dokument nachverfolgt werden.

Hinweise zur Verwendung

Operating Environment and Driver Installation
This product is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Me.
Under normal circumstances, a device driver is automatically installed when you connect the Micro Vault Pro.
Basic Operation
Note:
Remove the Micro Vault Pro properly following the procedure described in this document. Otherwise, data may
not be recorded correctly.
Setup
Rotate the Micro Vault Pro retractable USB connector so that it is exposed, and then connect it to a USB port of
your computer. When the Micro Vault Pro is connected, a drive icon for it appears. (The drive name varies,
depending on your computer system.) You can now copy and save data on the Micro Vault Pro by dragging
files and folders to the drive icon, just as you would when copying data to a hard disk or a floppy disk.
Disconnection
When running Windows Me or Windows 2000
Click on the Windows taskbar. Click the appropriate command on the shortcut menu. When your computer
prompts you, click [OK] and disconnect the unit.
When running Windows XP
Click on the Windows taskbar. Click the appropriate command on the shortcut menu. When your computer
prompts you, disconnect the unit.
Meanings of the Indicator Light
When the Micro Vault Pro is in use, the indicator light indicates its status as follows.
Indicator Light Status Meaning
Green, lit Micro Vault Pro is on standby.
Orange, flashing Data transfer in progress. (Do not disconnect the Micro Vault Pro while the
indicator light is flashing.)
Off Ready to be disconnected. (When running Windows Me, the indicator light does
not turn off.)
About the Supplied Software (Auto sync)
Auto sync is preinstalled on the Micro Vault Pro. It automatically synchronizes documents on the computer
hard disks (in the specified [My Documents] folders) with the Micro Vault Pro, and keeps track of the last 10
changes per document.
Note:
Refer to “Read_this_First” on the Micro Vault Pro before using Auto sync.
Notes on Use
• To avoid problems with this product, keep it away from magnetic fields such as those around TV’s
loudspeakers and magnets.
• Do not attempt to rotate the retractable USB connector of the unit beyond 180°.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force when it is connected to your computer, as this may damage the
USB connector of the unit and/or the USB port of your computer.
• The Micro Vault Pro may not function correctly if it is connected to the computer when the computer is
restarted, or restored from sleep (standby, hibernation) mode. Always disconnect the Micro Vault Pro from
the computer before performing any of these operations.
• The Micro Vault Pro may not function properly when connected to a USB hub. We recommend that you
connect the unit directly to your computer.
• It is highly recommended that data stored on Micro Vault Pro be regularly backed up using other recording
media. Sony cannot be held responsible for any loss of data.
• Micro Vault Pro is sensitive to excessive shocks and vibrations. For protection, keep the Micro Vault Pro in
its plastic case when it is not in use.
• Do not place the unit in locations that are:
– extremely hot or cold – dusty or dirty
– very humid – vibrating
– exposed to corrosive gases – exposed to direct sunlight
• Cleaning
Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not

Informazioni sul software in dotazione (Auto synchronizer)

Note sull’uso

동작 환경 및 드라이버의 설치
본 제품은 Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me에 대응합니다. 일반 사용 조건에서 Micro Vault
Pro를 연결하면 장치 드라이버가 자동으로 설치됩니다.
기본적인 조작
주의점:
본 설명서에서 설명하는 순서에 따라 Micro Vault Pro를 올바르게 분리하여 주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 데이
터를 정상으로 저장할 수 없는 경우가 있습니다.
셋업
Micro Vault Pro 리트렉터블 USB 커넥터가 보이도록 돌린 후 그것을 컴퓨터의 USB 포트에 연결합니다.
Micro Vault Pro를 연결하면 드라이브 아이콘이 나타납니다. (드라이브명은 사용 컴퓨터 시스템에 따라 다
릅니다.) 이것으로 데이터를 하드 디스크나 플로피 디스크에 복사하는 것과 마찬가지로 파일이나 폴더를 드라
이브 아이콘에 드래그해서 데이터를 복사하고 Micro Vault Pro에 저장할 수 있습니다.
표시등의 의미
Micro Vault Pro의 사용 중에 표시등은 다음과 같이 상태를 나타냅니다.

오렌지색으로 깜박임 데이터 전송 중입니다. (표시등이 깜박이는 동안은 Micro Vault Pro를 분리하
지 마십시오.)
꺼짐 분리할 수 있습니다. (Windows Me에서는 표시등이 꺼지지 않습니다.)
분리
Windows Me 또는 Windows 2000를 사용하는 경우
Windows 작업 표시줄에서 를 클릭합니다. 바로가기 메뉴에서 적절한 명령을 클릭합니다. 컴퓨터에서 지
시가 표시되면 [OK]를 클릭하고 본 제품을 분리합니다.
Windows XP를 사용하는 경우

부속된 소프트웨어(Auto sync)에 대하여
Auto sync는 Micro Vault Pro에 사전 설치되어 있습니다. 이것은 컴퓨터의 하드 디스크에 있는 문서([My
Documents]의 지정 폴더에 있는 문서)를 Micro Vault Pro와 자동으로 동기, 각 문서에 대하여 직전에 실
행한 10회 변경을 기록합니다.
주의점:
Auto sync를 사용하기 전에 Micro Vault Pro의 "Read_this_First"를 참조하여 주십시오.
사용상의 주의
•본 제품에 문제가 생기는 것을 방지하기 위하여 TV의 라우드 스피커와 자석 등의 자기에서 멀리하여 주십
시오.
• ° 본 제품의 리트렉터블 USB 커넥터는 180 이상 돌리지 마십시오.
•본 제품을 컴퓨터에 연결할 때에는 본 제품의 USB 커넥터나 컴퓨터의 USB 포트가 손상될 염려가 있으므
로 무리한 힘을 가하지 마십시오.
•컴퓨터에 Micro Vault Pro를 연결하고 있을 때 컴퓨터를 재시동하거나 슬립(대기, 최대 절전) 모드에서
복귀하면 정상으로 작동하지 않는 경우가 있습니다. 그런 조작을 하기 전에 반드시 컴퓨터에서 Micro Vault
Pro를 분리하여 주십시오.
•Micro Vault Pro는 USB 허브에 연결하면 정상으로 작동하지 않는 경우가 있습니다. 본 제품은 컴퓨터에
직접 연결하실 것을 권장합니다.
•Micro Vault Pro에 저장한 데이터는 다른 저장 매체를 사용해서 정기적으로 백업을 받아 두실 것을 권장
합니다. Sony는 데이터 손실에 대하여 일절 책임지지 않습니다.
•Micro Vault Pro는 강한 충격이나 진동의 영향을 받습니다. Micro Vault Pro를 사용하지 않을 때에는
플라스틱 케이스에 넣고 보호하여 주십시오.
•본 제품은 다음과 같은 장소에 놓지 마십시오.
– 온도가 매우 높거나 낮은 장소 – 습도가 높은 장소
– 부식성 가스가 있는 장소 – 먼지가 많거나 심하게 더러운 장소
– – 진동이 있는 장소 직사광선이 닿는 장소
•청소
본 제품은 마른 부드러운 헝겊이나 중성 세제로 살짝 적신 부드러운 헝겊으로 청소하여 주십시오. 알코올이
나 벤진 등의 용제는 표면이 손상될 염려가 있으므로 사용하지 마십시오.
•당사 제품 보증은 본 사용설명서에 따라 본 제품에 부속된 액세서리(소프트웨어 포함)를 지정 또는 권
장 시스템 환경에서 올바르게 사용하는 것을 조건으로서 USB 저장 매체 본체만 대상으로 합니다. 사용
자 지원 등 당사가 제공하는 서비스도 이 제한의 대상이 됩니다.
