Read this user manual carefully before using the

device for the first time and observe all the

instructions, even if you are familiar with the use of

electronic devices. Keep the manual safe and

always pass it on with the device.

Safety instructions

Intended use

The SilverCrest STL 1.5 A1 multi-function speaker is

used in accordance with its intended purpose when it is

used exclusively for playback of audio files stored on

microSD cards or if it is connected to an audio source

with the 3.5mm audio cable. Any other use is not as

intended.

The manufacturer does not assume any liability if:

 The multi-function speaker is not used as intended.

 The multi-function speaker is damaged, incomplete

or modified prior to connection and use.

This is an electronic entertainment device. It may only

be used for private purposes, but not for industrial or

commercial purposes.

General safety information

 Keep electric devices away from children or persons

with mental or physical limitations! Never let such

persons use electric devices without supervision.

They cannot always recognise possible hazards.

 Small parts can be fatal if swallowed. Also note that

there is a risk of suffocation if air passages are

blocked by the plastic packaging.

 If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual

sounds or smells, turn the multi-function speaker off

immediately. In these cases the device should not be

used until it has been inspected by authorised

service personnel.

Operational safety

 Never use any adapter plugs or extension cables

which are damaged or which do not comply with valid

safety standards.

 To disconnect a cable always hold the multi-function

speaker and pull the plug, not the cable. Ensure that

the cable is not kinked and does not cause an

obstruction.

 If the multi-function speaker is exposed to extreme

temperature fluctuations, condensation can lead to

the accumulation of moisture which can cause a

short circuit. In this case wait until the multi-function

speaker has reached ambient temperature before

use.

Operating environment/Environmental

conditions

 Protect the multi-function speaker against moisture,

vibration, dust, heat and direct sunlight. It could

otherwise become damaged.

Controls and indicators

Function, operation

1 Lower the volume / Previous track; hold the button

down to lower the volume. Press the button briefly to

select the previous track.

source with the 3.5mm jack plug. In this mode

remove any inserted microSD card before switching

the device on. Audio output is switched on and off

with button 3 and the volume is controlled with

buttons 1 and 4.

3 On/o button / Playback / Pause; hold the button

down to switch the device on and off. Press the

button briefly when the device is switched on to

pause or resume playback.

4 Increase the volume / Next track; hold the button

down to increase the volume. Press the button

briefly to select the next track.

5 Headphone connection; insert the 3.5mm jack plug

of headphones into this socket. The loudspeaker (8)

is automatically muted and the audio output is only

heard on the connected headphones.

6 USB connection; insert the smaller plug of the

supplied USB cable (mini-USB to USB cable) into

this socket when the multi-function speaker is

switched off and insert the large plug into a USB

socket on your PC or notebook (switch the PC or

notebook on first). The multi-function speaker is then

charging. The power indicator (10) flashes green

during charging. If you would like to access the

content of a card in the microSD slot (9), the device

must be switched on before it is connected via USB.

The operating system automatically recognises the

device and a free drive letter is assigned. The power

indicator (10) then flashes orange and you can

access the content of the microSD card. In this

operating mode (USB audio mode) the device is

charging and the audio files on your PC or notebook

are output on the multi-function speaker.

Furthermore you can control the Windows

® Media

Player with the buttons of the multi-function speaker.

7 Sound box; you can increase the size of the sound

box. To this purpose turn the upper section of the

multi-function speaker anti-clockwise until the locking

mechanism is released and the sound box is

enlarged. To reduce the size of the sound box, push

the multi-function speaker together and turn the

upper section clockwise until it locks in place.

8 Loudspeaker

9 MicroSD slot; you can play music from a microSD

card. To this purpose push a microSD card into the

slot (pointing towards the loudspeaker with the

contacts facing upwards) until it engages. To remove

the card, press the microSD card lightly. The card is

ejected slightly and can be pulled out.

10 Power indicator (LED);

Lights up orange:

 Device switched on for playback of external audio

sources

Flashes orange:

 Playback from the microSD card

 Operation in USB audio mode

Flashes green:

 Charging

Lights up green:

 Battery fully charged

11 Eyelet; provided for attachment of a strap (not

supplied).

Take care when using headphones.

Listening at full volume for prolonged

periods of time can damage you

hearing.

Troubleshooting

Fault Remedy

The device cannot

be switched on.

 Hold button 3 down for a few

seconds.

 Check the battery status. If

necessary charge the battery.

The device cannot

be charged.

 Check the USB connection.

 Use a different USB socket on your

PC or notebook.

No sound  Check the set volume on the device

or your external audio source.

Increase the volume with button 4

or with the volume control of your

external audio source.

 Remove the microSD card if you

are using the loudspeaker for

playback from an external audio

source.

Audio files on the

microSD card are

not played.

Cleaning

Remove all connected devices before cleaning

the speaker. The multi-function speaker and a

connected device can otherwise become damaged.

If soiled, clean the device with a dry cloth, and moisten

the cloth slightly to remove stubborn dirt. Do not use

any solvents, corrosive or gaseous cleaning agents.

Ensure that no moisture penetrates the housing.

Disposal of old devices

The product bears the symbol of a crossed-out

wheelie bin. It is therefore subject to the

European Directive 2002/96/EC.

All old electrical and electronic devices must be

separated from normal household waste and disposed

of at designated state facilities. For further information

contact your local authorities, waste disposal office or

the shop where you bought the device.

The integrated battery cannot be removed for disposal.

Legal stipulations

 The multi-function speaker meets all relevant

standards in relation to CE conformity. Compliance

with these standards is no longer guaranteed in the

event of unauthorised modifications to the multi-

function speaker.

 If you are not using the device within the Federal

Republic of Germany, you must observe the

regulations and laws in the country of use.

Ustrezna uporaba

Ustrezna uporaba večfunkcijskega zvočnika SilverCrest

STL 1.5 A1 pomeni, da zvočnik uporabite izključno za

predvajanje zvočnih datotek s kartic microSD ali ga s

pomočjo kabla s 3,5-milimetrskim vtičem priklopite na

zvočni vir. Vse druge vrste uporabe niso ustrezne.

Proizvajalec ne jamči za:

 neustrezno uporabo več čfunkcijskega zvo nika;

 uporabo poškodovanega, neustrezno sestavljenega

ali predelanega večfunkcijskega zvočnika.

Naprava spada med zabavno elektroniko. Uporabljati jo

je dovoljeno samo v osebne namene, ne pa tudi v

industrijske ali komercialne namene.

Splošna varnostna opozorila

 Električne naprave niso primerne za otroke ali osebe

z zmanjšano telesno ali duševno zmožnostjo! Tem

osebam nikoli ne dovolite uporabljati električnih

naprav brez nadzora. Ne zavedajo se namreč

možnih nevarnosti.

 Majhni deli so lahko smrtno nevarni, če jih

pogoltnete. Ne pozabite, da obstaja tudi nevarnost

zadušitve, če z embalažno folijo prekrijete dihala.

zaslišite nenavadne zvoke ali zaznate neobičajen

vonj, večfunkcijski zvočnik takoj izklopite. V takšnem

primeru napravo prenehajte uporabljati in jo dajte v

pregled pooblaščenemu servisnemu centru.

Varna uporaba

 Ne uporabljajte adapterskih vtikačev ali kabelskih

podaljškov, ki kažejo znake poškodb ali ne ustrezajo

veljavnim varnostnim standardom.

 Za odklop kabla vedno držite več čfunkcijski zvo nik in

povlecite za vtikač, ne pa za kabel. Pazite, da kabla

ne zvijate in da nikogar ne ovira.

 Velika temperaturna nihanja lahko v večfunkcijskem

zvočniku povzročijo nabiranje vlage zaradi

kondenzacije, ki lahko povzroči električni kratki stik.

V takšnem primeru večfunkcijski zvočnik uporabite

šele, ko je njegova temperatura enaka temperaturi

okolice.

Okolica uporabe/okoljski pogoji

 Več čfunkcijski zvo nik zaščitite pred vlago, tresenjem,

prahom, vročino in neposredno sončno svetlobo.

Tovrstni vplivi lahko namreč povzročijo poškodbe.

Upravljalni in prikazni elementi

Funkcija, upravljanje

1 Znižanje glasnosti/prejšnja skladba: držite tipko

pritisnjeno, da znižate glasnost. Prejšnjo skladbo

izberete tako, da tipko na kratko pritisnete.

2 Avdio priključek: s pomočjo 3,5-milimetrskega vtiča

lahko priključite zunanji zvočni vir. Pri takšni uporabi

najprej odstranite morebitno kartico microSD, preden

napravo vklopite. S tipko 3 lahko vklopite oz.

izklopite zvok, s tipkama 1 in 4 pa uravnavate

glasnost.

3 Tipka za vklop/izklop/predvajanje/premor: držite

tipko pritisnjeno, da napravo vklopite oz. izklopite. Ko

je naprava vklopljena, tipko na kratko pritisnite, da

predvajanje zaustavite oz. nadaljujete.

4 Zvišanje glasnosti/naslednja skladba: držite tipko

pritisnjeno, da zvišate glasnost. Naslednjo skladbo

izberete tako, da tipko na kratko pritisnete.

5 Priključek za slušalke: v ta priključek vključite 3,5-

milimetrski vtič slušalk. Zvočnik (8) bo samodejno

izklopil zvok, ki ga bo mogoče slišati samo še prek

priključenih slušalk.

6 USB-priključek: vključite majhen vtič priloženega

USB-kabla (mini USB na USB-kablu) v ta priključek

izklopljenega večfunkcijskega zvočnika, veliki vtič pa

v USB-priključek vklopljenega osebnega ali

prenosnega računalnika. Večfunkcijski zvočnik se bo

napolnil. Med polnjenjem bo lučka (10) utripala

zeleno. Če želite dostopati do kartice, ki je v reži za

kartico microSD (9), mora biti naprava vklopljena,

preden jo povežete prek USB-ja. Operacijski sistem

bo samodejno zaznal napravo in ji dodelil prosto

č č črko za pogon. Lu ka (10) bo za ela utripati oranžno

in dostopali boste lahko do vsebine na kartici

microSD. Pri tem načinu uporabe (način USB-avdio)

se naprava napaja in predvajanje zvoka se z

osebnega oz. prenosnega računalnika prenaša

neposredno na večfunkcijski zvočnik. Pri tem lahko

predvajalnik Windows® Media Player upravljate s

tipkami na ve funkcijskem zvoč čniku.

7 Resonančno telo: resonančno telo lahko razširite.

Zavrtite zgornji del večfunkcijskega zvočnika v

nasprotni smeri urnega kazalca, da sprostite zaklep

in se resonančno telo razširi. Če želite resonančno

telo zmanjšati, stisnite večfunkcijski zvočnik in

zavrtite zgornji del v smeri urnega kazalca, da

aktivirate zaklep.

8 Zvočnik

9 Reža za kartico microSD: glasbo lahko predvajate s

kartice microSD. Kartico microSD s stikom navzgor

potisnite v režo zvočnika, da se zaskoč Či. e želite

kartico microSD znova odstraniti, jo nežno pritisnite.

Kartica bo nekoliko izskočila, da jo boste lahko prijeli

in izvlekli.

10 Lučka (LED):

Sveti oranžno:

 naprava je vklopljena za predvajanje z zunanjih

zvočnih virov.

Utripa oranžno:

 predvajanje s kartice microSD;

 nač čin uporabe v na inu USB-avdio.

Utripa zeleno:

 polnjenje.

Sveti zeleno:

 polnilna baterija je povsem napolnjena.

11 Ušesce: nanjo lahko pritrdite nosilni paš ek (ni č

priložen).
