Capacity 19 litres – order-no. 317-2000 and 10 litres – order-no. 317-2010
1. General Information
• Carefully read these operating instructions through as they contain important
information for the safe and correct use of the appliance.
• It is advisable to keep the operating instructions in a place where you have them
always ready to hand.
• If you pass the appliance on to a third party, these operating instructions should
be handed on.
• As soon as you have unpacked the appliance, check whether everything is in a
faultless condition. Should anything be damaged, do not connect the appliance as
such, but inform your dealer.
• For the disposal of the appliance follow the regulations applicable in your country.
• The water and wine boiler may only be used to boil water and keeping warm of
coee, tea or glow wine. Improper use can cause damages and lead to the loss of
the warranty.
• In case of fault and/or malfunction, switch the appliance o. Pull the power plug
and inform your dealer. He will carry out the repair with original spare parts.
• Please observe the local regulations concerning accident prevention and
disposal.
• The manufacturer/dealer cannot be made responsible for damages which arise
through not observing these operating instructions. Apart from this, if these
instructions are not observed, the safety of the appliance is no longer guaranteed.

2. Safety Instructions
• The appliance may be connected to a grounded socket only. Do not connect any other
appliance to the same socket. The outlet must be easily accessible, so that the plug can
easily be removed in the case of an emergency.
• Always pull on the plug and not on the cable, if you pull the plug from the socket. Switch
o the appliance before.
• Do not touch the cable and the plug with wet hands.
• The cable must not hang over table edges and/or sharp edges.
• The cable must not come into contact with hot parts of the appliance or with water.
• Regularly check the cable. If it is damaged, it must be exchanged by a qualied
specialist.
• Do not leave the water and wine boiler unattended while it is in use. Children are not able
to realise dangers when handling electronic appliances.
• During operating do not move the appliance and do not remove the lid. Do also not touch
the exterior surface, because it can become very hot.
• Do not switch on the appliance, if it is empty.
• Do not use the water boiler near gas- or electrical ovens or other sources of warmth.
• Before each cleaning or repair allow the appliance to cool. Then switch o the appliance
and pull the plug from the socket. The appliance must not be hosed down with water or
placed into water.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Repairs may only be undertaken by a
qualied specialist.
• Pull the plug from the socket after each use.
• If you do not want to use the appliance for a long time, then pull the power plug from the
socket, clean the appliance and cover it with a air-permeable material.
3. Setting up and operation instructions
• Unpack the appliance carefully.
• Place the appliance on a at, stable and heat-resistand surface.
• Clean the lid and the inside of the appliance with a mild cleaning agent and dry
everrything carefully. The exterior surface wipe o with a moist cloth. Make sure that the
cable and the plug do not become wet.
• Check whether the thermostat (7) stands on zero.
• Remove the lid and ll the container at least to the half of the container with fresh cold
water, in oder to boil water, and/or to heat up or keep warm coee, tea oder glow wine.
• Put the lid back on the container and put the plug into the plug socket.
• Turn the power switch (6) „ON“ and the switch (6) will light up to indicate that the power is
connected.
• Turn the knob of controller (7) to the desired temperature.
• The appliance heats the contents and in this moment the control lamp above the switch
shuts o.
• The control lamp lights up again, if the desired temperature is reached.
• The appliance heats again up automatically, if the desired temperature cools o approx.
5° to 10° C.
• During this time the control lamp is switched o and it lights up again, if the desired
temperature is reached.

• If you turn the the thermostat knob (7) near 100, the appliance always will be maintain the
position of "Boiling Status" and will not stop until the user turns the power switch (6) o or
the thermostat knob will be turned on a lower temperature.
• Switch o the appliance, if the container is nearly empty and/or the level indicator
indicates only little contents.
4. Cleaning and descaling
• It is essential to have the appliance cleaned after each use.
• Before each cleaning and descaling, the appliance has to be switch o and the plug has
to be pulled out of the socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool.
• Pour out the remaining contents of the appliance and clean the inside of the container
well.
• The lid and the exterior surface clean with a soft damp cloth, and if necessary, with a mild
cleaning agent.
• Dry everything carefully.
• The cleaning cloth must not be wet, but only damp. Do not use aggressive detergents,
steel wool or abrasive spongs. The appliance may not be hosed down with water or place
into water.
• In order to keep the appliance in the best condition and prolong the life of it, we
recommend to decalcify the appliance regularly. The periods depend on the degree of
hardness of the water. An indication is, when you nd there are scale sediments on the
bottom of the appliance.
• For descaling of the appliance use an agent, which you get in shops. Please consider the
instructions of the manufacturer.
• After descaling you have to remove the residue. Fill the container with cold water and
rinse it very well.
