NAME OF PARTS ATTACHING THE STRAP(Fig. 1)
1. Insert the loop at the end of the Strap under the
Strap Eyelet.
2. Insert the other end of the Strap through the
loop and tie the Strap onto the Strap Eyelet.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
1. Open the Battery Chamber Cover in the direc-
tion of the arrow by pulling it out.(Fig. 2)
2. Insert the AA-size batteires.checking that(+)
and (-) on the battery are aligned according to
the polarity information Inside the Battery
Chamber.(Fig. 3)
3. Close the Battery Chamber Cover by pushing
it until it latches.

NOTES:
• Do not use Nickel Cadmium batteries.
• With the battery Inserted lncorrectly,the camera
will not work.Make sure the battery is installed
as shown in .Fig.3
• Remove AA batteries from the camera when you
do not expect to use it for a long period time.
• Don't try to break up or recharge the battery or
throw it into fire.
• Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
• Please replace the battery,while flash charging
time is longer than 10 seconds.

HOLDING YOUR CAMERA(Fig. 8)
• Always use both hands to steady your camera.
• When holding the camera vertically always po-
sition it with the flash at the top.
• Be careful not to place your fingers over the lens
or flash.
BATTERY CHECK LAMP(red light)
When the Battery check lamp is blinking, it could
finish at least one 36 exp. film by remaining battery
power. Please replace to new battery when you
finish the last one film.
When the Battery check lamp is turning light. Any
function of this camera will stop work. Please
replace to new battery immediately.
RED-EYE REDUCTION LED
(Fig.10)
SETTING THE FILM SPEED (Fig.4)
1. This camera is designed to use DX-coded films
with ISO ranging from 100 to 400.
2. Your camera automatically sets the correct film
speed by reading black-and-silver patches on
the film cassettes.
LOADING THE FILM
1. Push the Back Cover Lock downward to open
(Fig.5)
2. Load the film cassette into the Film Chamber
and pull out enough film leader to extend past
the film Leader Mark.(Fig.6)
3. Make sure the film stays within the Film Guides
and lies flat.
4. Press the Back Cover shut so that the Back
cover lock returns to its original position.
5. No matter that the lens cover is open or close,
the film will advance to the first exposure frame
automatically and the exposuer counter ad-
vance to"1".
* If the exposure counter does not advance,open
the back cover and reload the film.
* Whether there is film cassette in the camera or
not,can be identified through the Film Check
Window.
This camera is designed to activate Red-eye
Reduction automatically. This makes it possible to
minimize the red-eye effect that sometimes occurs
when taking portrait photographs with flash. Now
it’s easy for anyone to take superior shots of people.
Press the Release button smoothly to half way and
hold there for at least one second to light on the
Red-eye Reduction LED. The Red-eye Reduction
LED only light in 10 sec. max if you keep on press
Release button in half way.
