where a child could grab it.

cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquids.

â– Only use the machine for its intended domestic use.
â– Always make sure everything is thoroughly clean before making ice cream or sorbet.
â– Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
â– Any ice cream or sorbet containing raw ingredients should be consumed within
one week. Ice cream tastes best when fresh.
â– Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to
young children, pregnant women, the elderly or people who are generally unwell.
â– To prevent freezer burn, always ensure that hands are protected when handling the
bowl, especially when rst removed from the freezer.
■If the freezing solution appears to be leaking from the bowl, discontinue use. e
freezing solution is non toxic.
â– Do not place the machine on hot surfaces such as stoves, hotplates or near open gas

BEFORE PLUGGING IN
■Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the electrical rating specied on the
underside of the power unit.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY class 2 USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1 Remove all of the packaging.
2 Wash the parts: see “cleaning”.
3 8-12 hours in advance, place the freezer bowl into a freezer.
4 Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix (see recipe ideas). Allow the mix to cool
in the refrigerator
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
e wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with
the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
e wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
e wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked
with the letter E or coloured GREEN and YELLOW.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be tted. If any other
type of plug is used a 3 amp fuse must be tted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.

1 Fit the power unit into the lid, It will click into place.
2 Fit the paddle into the power unit.

3 Remove the freezer bowl from the freezer.
4 Lower the assembled lid/power unit/paddle onto the freezer bowl and turn
clockwise to lock into position
