GETTING STARTED
MAIN UNIT INSTALLATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities.
3. Press RESET after each battery change.
NOTE Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine or ļ¬re.

REMOTE SENSOR INSTALLATION
1. Slide open the battery door.
2. Slide channel switch to channel 1.
3. Select EU/UK. (RTGN318D only)
4. Insert the battery, matching the polarities (+ / -).
5. Press RESET after each battery change.
6. Close the battery door.
The sensor reception icon shows the status:

NOTE If no sensor is found, press and hold and
on the main unit.
NOTE After every sensor initialisation, the main unit may
take up to 30 minutes to receive the time from the sensor.
STRONG SIGNAL WEAK / NO SIGNAL
NOTE Clock reception is dependent on the successful
transmission of data from remote sensor. If is
displayed, press RESET on sensor and press and
on the main unit and ensure sensor has been
successfully logged.
MANUALLY SET CLOCK
To set the clock manually, disable the clock signal
reception ļ¬rst.
1. Press and hold MODE.
2. Press / to change the settings.
3. Press MODE to conļ¬rm.
The settings order is: time zone, 12/24 hr format, hour,
minute, year, calendar mode (month ā day / day ā month),
month, day and language.
Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 23 hours from the
received clock signal time.
NOTE If you enter + 1 in the time offset setting, this will
give you your local time plus one hour. If you are in the US
(BAR800A) set the clock to:
0 for Paciļ¬c time +1 for Mountain time
+2 for Central time +3 for Eastern time
NOTE The language options are English (E), German
(D), French (F), Italian (I), and Spanish (S).
To select clock display mode:
Press to toggle between clock with seconds, clock MODE
with weekday and calendar.

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
INSTALLAZIONE DELLāUNITĆ PRINCIPALE
1. Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batteria.
2. Inserire le batterie, rispettando le polaritĆ indicate.
3. Premere RESET dopo ogni sostituzione di batteria.
NOTA Non eporre le batterie ad eccessive fonti di
calore, quali sole o fuoco.

1. Aprire il coperchio della batteria facendolo scorrere.
2. Spostare la levetta sul canale 1.
3. Selezionare EU / UK. (solo per il modello RTGN318D).
4. Inserire la batteria rispettando le polaritĆ indicate (+ / -).
5. Premere dopo ogni sostituzione di batteria.RESET
6. Chiudere il coperchio della batteria.

7. Collocare il sensore nella posizione desiderata
mediante il foro per ļ¬ssaggio a parete o con il nastro
biadesivo.
NOTA La ricezione dellāora dipende dalla riuscita della
trasmissione dei dati del sensore remoto. Se viene
visualizzata lāicona , premere sul sensore e RESET
premere e sullāunitĆ principale. Veriļ¬care che il
sensore sia stato correttamente registrato.
IMPOSTAZIONE MANUALE DELLāORA
Per impostare lāora manualmente, disattivare prima la
ricezione del segnale.
1. Tenere premuto MODE.
2. Premere per modiļ¬care le impostazioni. /
3. Premere MODE per confermare.
Lāordine delle impostazioni ĆØ: fuso orario, formato ora 12 /
24, ore, minuti, anno, modalitĆ calendario (mese ā giorno /
giorno ā mese), mese, giorno e lingua.
La differenza di fuso orario imposta lāorologio a + / - 23 ore
dallāora del segnale ricevuto.
NOTA Se si immette il valore +1 nellāimpostazione relativa
alla differenza di fuso orario, verrĆ visualizzata la propria ora
locale piĆ¹ unāora. Se ci si trova negli Stati Uniti (solo per il
modello BAR800A) impostare lāorologio come segue:
0 per lāora del Paciļ¬co +1 per la zona delle montagne
+2 per lāora Centrale +3 per lāora Orientale
NOTA Le opzioni della lingua sono inglese (E), tedesco
(D), francese (F), italiano (I) e spagnolo (S).

Premere per alternare ora con secondi e ora con MODE
giorno della settimana e calendario.
