Intended use of the device
The device is intended to serve exclusively as an insect repellent, to the
extent speciļ¬ed in the technical and operational parameters and functions,
safety and user instructions and external inļ¬uences of the operating
environment.
ORAVA electrical equipment is manufactured in accordance with the
state of the art and recognized safety and technical rules. Nevertheless,
incorrect and unprofessional use or use contrary to the intended purpose
may create a risk of injury or endanger the life of the user or a third party,
resp. damage to equipment and other property.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
ā¢ Before putting the device into operation, we recommend that you carefully
read the operating instructions and operate the device in accordance with
the speciļ¬ed instructions! The insect killers are designed either for indoor
use or for outdoor use, depending on the type of product.
ā¢ By failing to observe the safety instructions and warnings, the
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage to health or property!
ā¢ Always keep the operating instructions with the appliance for future
reference and use by new users.
ā¢ Use the device only for the intended purpose and in the manner speciļ¬ed
by the manufacturer.
ā¢ The device is intended for use in the home and in similar indoor areas
intended for housing without special focus.
ā¢ The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused during transport,
incorrect use, damage or destruction of the device due to adverse weather
conditions.
ā¢ Do not use the device in an industrial or outdoor environment!
ā¢ Do not expose the device to:
- sources of excessive heat or open ļ¬ame
- animals and ļ¬ora,
- aggressive and chemical substances.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
ā¢ Before connecting the appliance to the mains for the ļ¬rst time, make sure
that the mains voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the
mains voltage in your home.
ā¢ The electrical appliance is designed for mains supply 1/N/PE ~ 230 V 50
Hz or USB 5 V depending on the product type.
ā¢ The electrical safety of the device is only guaranteed if it is connected
correctly to the mains.
ā¢ Always connect electrical equipment to an easily accessible power outlet.
In the event of an operating fault, the device must be switched off and
disconnected from the mains as soon as possible.
ā¢ Do not unplug the power cord / power cable by pulling on the cord / cable.
Disconnect by unplugging the power cord.
ā¢ If you use an extension power cord, make sure that the total ampere rating
of all the devices connected to the extension cord does not exceed the
max. extension cable current load.
ā¢ The plug of the deviceās power cord must be compatible with the power
outlet. Never use any adapters or modify the outlet in any other way. Do
not use unsuitable and damaged sockets!
ā¢ Do not bend, squeeze, or otherwise expose the deviceās power cord /
power cable to mechanical stress or external heat. Damage to the power
cord may result in electric shock.
ā¢ If the power cord is damaged, unplug the device and do not continue to
use it.
ā¢ If the supply cord / cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualiļ¬ed persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
