*Conditions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty creates a warranty period as speciļ¬ed in the
aforementioned table, for any product purchased through an authorized NAPOLEON
dealer, and entitles the original purchaser to the speciļ¬ed coverage in respect of
any component replaced within the warranty period, either by NAPOLEON or an
authorized NAPOLEON dealer, to replace a component of such product that has
failed in normal private use as a result of a manufacturing defect. The ā50% offā
indicated in the table means the component is made available to the purchaser at
a 50% discount off the regular retail price of the component for the period
indicated. This Limited Warranty does not cover accessories or bonus items.
For greater certainty, ānormal private useā of a product means that the product:
has been installed by a licensed, authorized service technician or contractor, in
accordance with the installation instructions included with the product and all
local and national building and ļ¬re codes; has been properly maintained; and has
not been used as a communal amenity or in a commercial application.
Similarly, āfailureā does include: over-ļ¬ring, blow not outs caused by
environmental conditions such or inadequate as strong winds ventilation,
scratches, dents, corrosion, deterioration of painted and plated ļ¬nishes,
discoloration caused heat, abrasive chemical cleaners or UV by or exposure,
chipping of by misuse, accident, porcelain enameled parts, damages caused or
hail, grease of such as salt or ļ¬res, lack maintenance, hostile environments
chlorine, alterations, abuse, neglect or parts installed from other manufacturers.
Should deterioration of parts occur to the degree of non-performance (rusted
through or burnt through) within the duration of the warranted coverage, a
replacement part will be provided. The replacement component is the sole
responsibility of NAPOLEON deļ¬ned by this Limited Warranty; in no event will
NAPOLEON be responsible for installation, labor or any other costs or expenses
related to the re-installation of a warranted part, for any incidental, consequential,
or indirect damages or for any transportation charges, labor costs or export duties.
This Limited Warranty is provided in addition to any rights afforded to you by local
laws. Accordingly, this Limited Warranty imposes no obligation upon NAPOLEON to
keep parts in stock. Based on the availability of parts, NAPOLEON may at its
discretion discharge all obligations by providing a customer a prorated credit
towards a new product. After the ļ¬rst year, with respect to this Limited Warranty
NAPOLEON may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respect to this
warranty by refunding to the original warranted purchaser the wholesale price of
any warranted but defective part(s).
The bill of sale or copy will be required together with a serial number and a
model number when making any warranty claims from NAPOLEON.
NAPOLEON reserv the right to have its representative inspect any product es
or part prior to honoring any warranty claim. You must contact NAPOLEON
Cu nstome ervir S ce or a authorized NAPOLEON dealer to obtain the beneļ¬t of
the warranty coverage.

Safe Operaīng Pracīces
ā¢ This gas grill must be assembled exactly according to the instrucīons in the manual. If the grill was
store assembled, you must review the assembly instrucīons to conī®rm correct assembly and perform
the required leak tests before operaīng the grill.
ā¢ Read the enīre instrucīon manual before operaīng the gas grill.
ā¢ Under no circumstance should this gas grill be modiī®ed.
ā¢ Follow lighīng instrucīons carefully when operaīng grill.
ā¢ Gas must be turned oī« at the propane cylinder when the gas grill is not in use.
ā¢ Keep children and pets away from hot grill, DO NOT allow children to climb inside cabinet.
ā¢ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
ā¢ This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabiliīes, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instrucīon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
ā¢ Do not leave the grill unaī©ended while in use.
ā¢ Do not move grill when hot or operaīng.
ā¢ This grill is for household use only.
ā¢ This gas grill must not be installed in or on recreaīonal vehicles and/or boats.
ā¢ This gas grill must only be stored outdoors in a well-venīlated area and must not be used inside a
building, garage, screened -in porch or any other enclosed area.
ā¢ Maintain proper clearance to combusībles 660 mm (26ā) to rear of unit 255 mm (10ā) to sides.
Addiīonal clearance is recommended near vinyl siding or panes of glass.
ā¢ At all īmes keep the venīlaīon openings of the cylinder enclosure free and clear from debris.
ā¢ Do not operate unit under any combusīble construcīon.
ā¢ Do not locate in windy seī«ngs. High winds adversely aī«ect the cooking performance of the gas grill.
ā¢ When the gas grill is stored indoors, the propane cylinder must be disconnected from the grill and
stored outdoors in a well-venīlated area, disconnected cylinders must not be stored in a building,
garage or other enclosed area.
ā¢ Inspect the gas line hose before each use. If there is evidence of excessive abrasion or wear, it must be
replaced before using the gas grill, with a replacement hose assembly speciī®ed by the grill manufacturer.
ā¢ Never store a spare LP gas cylinder under or near this grill.
ā¢ Never ī®ll the cylinder beyond 80 % full.
ā¢ When changing out the gas cylinder, ensure there are no nearby sources of igniīon. Do not smoke.
ā¢ Leak test all connecīons before iniīal use, even if the grill was purchased fully assembled, annually or
whenever any gas component has been replaced.
ā¢ Never use natural gas in a unit designed for liquid propane gas.
ā¢ Never use lighter ī
uid in a gas grill.
ā¢ Use charcoal briqueī©es only with a Napoleon charcoal tray designed for this unit.
ā¢ Burner controls must be oī« when turning supply cylinder on.
ā¢ Do not light burners with lid closed.
ā¢ Do not operate rear burner with main burners operaīng.
ā¢ The lid is to be closed during the preheat period.
ā¢ Do not route hose underneath drip pan - proper hose clearance to boī©om of unit must be maintained.
ā¢ Clean grease tray and sear plates regularly to avoid build-up, which may lead to grease ī®res.
ā¢ Remove warming rack before lighīng rear burner. The extreme heat will damage the warming rack.
ā¢ Ensure sear plates are posiīoned properly according to sear plate installaīon instrucīons.
ā¢ Do not use condiment tray to store lighters, matches or any other combusībles.
ā¢ Keep gas line away from heated surfaces.
ā¢ Keep any electrical supply cord away from water or heated surfaces.
ā¢ Inspect infrared burner venturi tube for spider webs and other obstrucīons periodically. Clean the
tubes completely if you ī®nd any such obstrucīons.
ā¢ The outdoor cooking gas grill and its individual shutoī« valve must be disconnected from the gas supply
piping system during any pressure tesīng of that system at test pressures in excess of 3.5kPa (0.5psi).
ā¢ The outdoor cooking gas grill must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its
individual manual shutoī« valve during any pressure tesīng of the gas supply piping system at test
pressures equal to or less than 3.5 kPa (1/2 psi).
