staī†Ÿon. This grill has been thoroughly inspected by a qualiī„®ed technician before packaging and shipping to ensure
that you, the customer, receive the quality product you expect from NAPOLEON.
Napoleon Gas Grill Presidentā€™s Limited Lifeī†Ÿme Warranty
NAPOLEON warrants that components in your new NAPOLEON product will be free from defects in material and
workmanship from the date of purchase, for the following period:

plus5 indicates a period of extended warranty coverage whereby the replacement part will be made available to the
consumer for an addiī†Ÿonal 5 years at 50% of the current retail price. Accessories and bonus items are not covered
by this warranty.
Condiī†Ÿons and Limitaī†Ÿons
NAPOLEON warrants its products against manufacturing defects to the original purchaser only, provided that
the purchase was made through an authorized NAPOLEON dealer and is subject to the following condiī†Ÿons and
limitaī†Ÿons:
This factory warranty is non-transferable and may not be extended what-so-ever by any of our representaī†Ÿves.
The gas grill must be installed by a licensed, authorized service technician or contractor. Installaī†Ÿon must be done
in accordance with the installaī†Ÿon instrucī†Ÿons included with the product and all local and naī†Ÿonal building and ī„®re
codes.
This limited warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, grease ī„®res, hosī†Ÿle
environments, accident, alteraī†Ÿons, abuse or neglect and parts installed from other manufacturers will nullify this
warranty. Discoloraī†Ÿon to plasī†Ÿc parts from chemical cleaners or UV exposure is not covered by this warranty.
This limited warranty further does not cover any scratches, dents, painted ī„®nishes, corrosion or discoloring by heat,
abrasive and chemical cleaners, nor chipping on porcelain enamel parts, nor any components used in the installaī†Ÿon
of the gas grill.
Should deterioraī†Ÿon of parts occur to the degree of non-performance (rusted through or burnt through) within the
duraī†Ÿon of the warranted coverage, a replacement part will be provided.
Aī…Œer the ī„®rst year, with respect to this Presidentā€™s Limited Lifeī†Ÿme Warranty NAPOLEON may, at its discreī†Ÿon,
fully discharge all obligaī†Ÿons with respect to this warranty by refunding to the original warranted purchaser the
wholesale price of any warranted but defecī†Ÿve part(s).
NAPOLEON will not be responsible for the installaī†Ÿon, labor or any other costs or expenses related to the re-
installaī†Ÿon of a warranted part, and such expenses are not covered by this warranty.
Notwithstanding any provision contained in this Presidentā€™s Limited Lifeī†Ÿme Warranty NAPOLEONā€™s responsibility
under this warranty is deī„®ned as above and it shall not in any event extend to any incidental, consequenī†Ÿal, or
indirect damages.
This warranty deī„®nes the obligaī†Ÿon and liability of NAPOLEON with respect to the NAPOLEON gas grill and any other
warranī†Ÿes expressed or implied with respect to this product, its components or accessories are excluded.
NAPOLEON neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume, on its behalf, any other liabiliī†Ÿes with respect
to the sale of this product.
NAPOLEON will not be responsible for: over ī„®ring, blow outs caused by environmental condiī†Ÿons such as strong
winds, or inadequate venī†Ÿlaī†Ÿon,
Any damages to the gas grill due to weather damage, hail, rough handling, damaging chemicals or cleaners will not
be the responsibility of NAPOLEON.
The bill of sale or copy will be required together with a serial number and a model number when making any
warranty claims from NAPOLEON.
NAPOLEON reserves the right to have its representaī†Ÿve inspect any product or part prior to honoring any warranty
claim.
NAPOLEON shall not be liable for any transportaī†Ÿon charges, labor costs, or export duī†Ÿes.

Safe Operaī†Ÿng Pracī†Ÿces
ā€¢ This gas grill must be assembled exactly according to the instrucī†Ÿons in the manual. If the grill was
store assembled, you must review the assembly instrucī†Ÿons to conī„®rm correct assembly and perform
the required leak tests before operaī†Ÿng the grill.
ā€¢ Read the enī†Ÿre instrucī†Ÿon manual before operaī†Ÿng the gas grill.
ā€¢ This gas grill must be used only outdoors in a well-venī†Ÿlated space and must not be used inside a
building, garage, screened-in porch, gazebo or any other enclosed area.
ā€¢ This gas grill must not be installed in or on recreaī†Ÿonal vehicles and/or boats.
ā€¢ Do not locate unit in windy seī†«ngs. High winds adversely aī„«ect the cooking performance of the gas
grill.
ā€¢ Under no circumstances should this gas grill be modiī„®ed.
ā€¢ Do not operate unit under overhead combusī†Ÿble construcī†Ÿon.
ā€¢ Maintain proper clearance to combusī†Ÿbles 18ā€ (460mm) to rear of unit, 7ā€ (180 mm) to sides).
Addiī†Ÿonal clearance is recommended near vinyl siding or panes of glass.
ā€¢ Gas must be turned oī„« at the propane cylinder or at the natural gas supply valve when the gas grill is
not in use.
ā€¢ Do not aī†©empt to use a cylinder that is not equipped with a QCC1 type connecī†Ÿon.
ā€¢ When the propane cylinder is connected to the appliance, the gas grill and cylinder must be stored
outdoors in a well-venī†Ÿlated space.
ā€¢ When the gas grill is to be stored indoors, the connecī†Ÿon between the propane cylinder and the gas
grill must be disconnected and the cylinder removed and stored outdoors in a well venī†Ÿlated space
out of reach of children. Disconnected cylinders must not be stored in a building, garage or any other
enclosed area. Natural gas units must be disconnected from the supply when being stored indoors.
ā€¢ The pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with the outdoor cooking gas appliance must be
used. Inspect the supply hose before each use. If there is evidence of excessive abrasion or wear or
the hose is cut, it must be replaced prior to using the gas grill with a replacement pressure regulator
and hose assembly speciī„®ed by the grill manufacturer.
ā€¢ Do not route hose underneath drip pan - proper hose clearance to boī†©om of unit must be
maintained.
ā€¢ Leak test the unit before iniī†Ÿal use, annually, and whenever any gas components are replaced.
ā€¢ Follow lighī†Ÿng instrucī†Ÿons carefully when operaī†Ÿng grill.
ā€¢ Burner controls must be oī„« when turning supply cylinder valve on.
ā€¢ Adults and especially children should be alerted to the hazards of high surface temperatures. Young
children should be supervised near the gas grill.
ā€¢ Do not leave grill unaī†©ended when operaī†Ÿng.
ā€¢ Do not light burners with lid closed.
ā€¢ Do not operate rear burner with main burners operaī†Ÿng.
ā€¢ Do not move grill when hot or operaī†Ÿng.
ā€¢ Do not use condiment tray to store lighters, matches or any other combusī†Ÿbles.
ā€¢ Keep any electrical supply cord and fuel supply hose away from any heated surfaces.
ā€¢ Ensure sear plates are posiī†Ÿoned properly according to sear plate installaī†Ÿon instrucī†Ÿons.
ā€¢ Clean grease tray and sear plates regularly to avoid build-up, which could lead to grease ī„®res.
ā€¢ Inspect infrared burner venturi tube for spider webs and other obstrucī†Ÿons periodically. Clean the
tubes completely if you ī„®nd any such obstrucī†Ÿons.
ā€¢ Do not allow cold water (rain, sprinkler, hose, etc.) to come in contact with heated unit. A large
temperature diī„«erenī†Ÿal can cause chipping in the porcelain.
ā€¢ Do not allow cold water (rain, sprinkler, hose, etc.) to come in contact with ceramic burners.
ā€¢ Do not use a pressure washer to clean any part of the unit.
