BATTERYBACKUP

Thisunithas a backupbatteryfacility,which eventprovidespowerinthe of a powercut.
1.Removebatterydoor.
2.  Insert 2 newAAA notsize batteries  (included ) withthecorrectpolarity
3.Refitthebatterydoor.
Ifthereis a powerfailure,thetime    setting, alarm setting and all   the memory setting
willmaintaindueto the the DCpowersupplyby battery.  TheLEDdisplay     will not be illuminated to
savepower.  AfterACpowerresumes,         the unit can function properly immediately according to the
settingbeforethepowerfailure.

Note:When areyou notgoingto theuse unitfor a longperiodoftime,  disconnect the ACpowercord
fromACoutletandremovethebattery.


OPERATINGTHE RADIO

1.PresstheON/OFF button receiving (1) radio.onceto theturnon    Theradiois inFMbandwiththe
FMindicator(10)turnedonand showingtheLEDis thefrequency.
2. SELECTIONPresstheBAND button(3)            for more than 1 second to alternate the radio band that the
radioisreceiving.  Consequently,eithertheFMindicator indicator(10)orMW (13)willbeturned
onto the the to theshow chosenradioband.  After 5 seconds, LEDwillchangeback show time.
3.Whenthe theLEDisshowing time, pressVOLUME + button(9)orVOLUME‐button(8)to
increaseordecrease 16,the to the tovolume  desired volumelevel.  The levelrangesfrom 0 and
the theLEDwillshow volume volumelevelduring 
adjustment.
4.PresstheTUNE LEDbutton(3)once,thenthe willchangebackto theshow 
frequency.
5.WhentheLEDisshowingthefrequency,pressTUNE + (9)orTUNE‐(8)to into thetune  desired
stationbyeitherofthe 2 followingmethods:ξ€€

ForMWtuning,theradiocantunestartingfrom522KHzto1620KHz,each

MIN/TU+button(6)cantuneupby 9 KHz.

ForFMtuning,the toradiocantunestartingfrom87.5MHz 108MHz,each

pressing pressingofHOUR/TU‐button(6) MHzcantunedownby0.1 andeach ofMIN/TU+button
(7)cantuneupby0.1MHz.
Autoξ€€Tuning: 2Pressandholdeitherofthe tuningbutton,HOUR/TU‐button(6)orMIN/TU+(7)for
more performed.than tuning 2 secondsandauto willbe Tuningwillstopautomaticallyuntil a
clearradiosignal byisfound.  Repeatthesameprocedure usingthesamebuttonuntilyour
desired found.stationis 

Note : Insome area where autothe theradio enough,signalisnotstrong   tuningprocessmaynotbe
ableto thestopautomaticallyin desiredstation.  Insuch case, pleaseusetheManualTuning
methodto to the totune  desiredstation according  instruction above.  Thismayhappenmore
probablywhen radiotuningthe inAMband.
6.PresstheON/OFF button (1) radio.onceto theturnoff  

Note1:Thecurrentstation(eitherMWorFM)and levelalsothecurrentvolume 
willbememorizedatthetime     when the radio is turned off.  Once turnyou on
theradioagain,thememorizedstation     will broadcast with the memorized
volumelevel.
Note2:  ForthebestFM reception, extendtheFMantennawiretoitsfull
lengthand signal.varythe to thedirection capture  strongest   Donotconnect
theFMantennawiretoanoutdoorantenna.
Note3:  ForMWreception, a ferrite‐barantennais in. isbuilt‐   Sincethisantenna 

PRESETTINGYOURFAVOURITESTATION

Youcanpreset memories memoriesupto20 20stationsin  foreachband.  These20 
areindicatedaspreset P01,numbers P02,P03,P04,P05,……uptoP20.
1.Duringthe the theradiooperationmode,followstep   4 & 5 inξ€ƒβ€œOperating radio”andtune radio
into the to stationthatyouwish preset.
2. (4)PressandholdthePRESETbutton formorethan 1 seconduntilthelastmemorisedpreset
numberappearsandflashes.
3.Youcanthenchoosethepresetnumber        that you want to memorize this station by pressing‐
button button(8)to thestepdown sequence,orbypressing +(9)to thestepup sequence.
4.Oncethepresetnumberis it willchosen,  keepflashingfor 5 seconds.  Press  PRESETbutton(4)
once seconds,withinthis 5thenthetunedstationwill inbememorized thischosenpresetnumber
and andtheLEDwillstopflashing change then changeto theshow frequency,  to theshow time
after 5 seconds.

