• This device is only suited for a 12 volt system in a vehicle with negative ground.
• The radiated heat while operation requires sufficient air circulation at the place of installation.
• Ensure the accessibility of the fuse and the operating elements after installation.
• The reliability and performance of the device depends on the quality of installation.
• Please treat all parts of the sound system and the components of your vehicle with caution.

INTERCONNECTION
INSTALLATION
First connect the GND terminal of the device to an appropriate ground connection at the chassis. To ensure a good connection, remove ( 3 )
dirt and dust from the connection point. A loose connection may cause malfunctions or interferences noise and distortion.
Use at least a 10 mm2 cross-section for the power and ground connection cable. Suitable cable sets are available at the specialist shop.
Then connect the +12 V terminal of the device with the battery by using an appropriate cable including an in-line fuse. This fuse ( 2 )
should be located very close to the battery; for safety reasons not more than 30 cm away. Only insert the fuse when the installation has
been accomplished.
Then connect the remote turn-on-wire from the head unit with the device‘s REM terminal . A cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm( 1 ) 2 is
adequate.
Choose a suitable location for your device. The permanent temperature of the location should not be lower than 5°C and not higher than
50°C. Protect the device from moisture and humidity. Ensure that your device will not get loose during the drive and hurt someone in the
passenger cabin. Use therefor the included mounting brackets (4 x) and screws (8 x). Then use self-tapping screws (not included) from the
specialist trade, to x the device in your vehicle.
Please observe not to damage any serial components of your vehicle (air bags, wires, gas tank etc.) during the installation of your device
by drilling or any other operations.
POWER SUPPLY AND TURN-ON-CONNECTION
The amplifier detects a voltage rise (6 Volts) with a so called ”DC Offset” over the connected input signal on the HIGH LEVEL input when ( 5 )
the head unit will be switched on. Hence, the amplier will also be turned on. As soon as the head unit will be turned off, the amplier turns
also automatically off. In this case the turn-on connection at REM is not needed, if the switch is in position ON.( 1 ) ( 5 )
Note: The Auto Turn On-function usually works with 90% of all head units, because they are equipped with ”High Power”-outputs. Only with
a few older and still existing head units the Auto Turn On-function is not working.
