Shelf Rails
Before assembling your media unit, you
should decide if you wish to leave out a
shelf to provide room for a large piece of
equipment, such as a television. You can
always remove a shelf later, but you will
need to disassemble and reassemble the
unit to do so.
If you choose to leave out a shelf, you
can install the supplied rails to fill the
empty shelf slots. Simply slide the rails
into the empty slots as shown here.
Connectors
If you have more than one Legare media
unit, you should decide if you wish to
lock two of your units together before
assembling your media tower.
You will need to assemble the shelving
and back panel of the tower so that the
curvature of the edges matches the
edges of the unit you are placing it next
to.
After assembling the two units, simply
pull the units together and insert the
supplied connectors as shown here.
The connectors provide a back-stop for
CD and DVD cases so that they can be
stored like books in a bookcase, instead
of being pushed rearward and lost at the
back of the shelves between the units.
