Spikes-Set
- Gewarnt wird ausdrücklich vor der Benutzung als Steighilfe.
- Der Polstersitz ist mit dem Auszugrohr nicht verschraubt, sondern aufgesteckt
- und festgeklemmt und kann sich beim Anheben evtl. lösen.
- Deshalb: Polstersitz und Fußgestell getrennt transportieren oder Fußgestell und Sitz
- gleichzeitig festhalten.
- Die Parkettschoner sind aus hochwertigem Material und weitestgehend frei von Weichmachern.
- Trotzdem sollte ggf. eine rutschfeste Unterlage unter die Füße gelegt werden, da diese auf
- empfindlichen Böden (z.B. Parkett) Spuren hinterlassen können.
- Die Benutzung optional erhältlicher Spikes (Art.-Nr.14002) führt zu Abdrücken im Boden.
- Sichtprüfung vornehmen, ob alle Teile vorhanden und in Ordnung sind.
- Gängigkeit der beweglichen Teile prüfen.
FUSSGESTELL
- Fußgestell aus Karton entnehmen.
- Füße an den Parkettschonern (1) fassen und auseinander ziehen.
- Untere Schelle bis zum Anschlag (2) des Grundrohres schieben.
POLSTERSITZ
- Sitz aus Karton entnehmen
- Grauen Klemmhebel (3) an der Unterseite des Sitzes öffnen.
- Sitz auf das Auszugrohr (4) stecken und sogleich Platz darauf
-nehmen (5) (dieses “aufpressen” führt zu einer festeren Ver-
-bindung von Sitz und Rohr).
- Grauen Klemmhebel (6) wieder schließen.

SAFETY TIPS
- Max. 100 kg load capacity.
- Make sure the floor is suitable, sustainable, and level.
- The possibility to fold and to adjust the product bears the danger of
- squeezing. For this reason, cautious and considerate handling when
- setting up, using, and taking down is essential.
- The pull-button must always be locked in position.
- The grey clamping levers must be locked.
- The three legs must be folded out completely.

Spikes set
- We are warning expressively to not climb up on the stool.
- The upholstered seat is not screwed to the extension rod but stuck on and clamped and might
- come off when being lifted. Therefore: Carry seat and leg construction separately, if not, hold
- both leg construction and seat at the same time.
- The rubber end caps are made of non-marring material. However, if necessary, a non-slip mat
- should be placed under the legs since they might leave marks on sensitive floors (for example,
- parquet).
- The use of optionally available spikes (Art.-no.14002) leads to imprints on the floor.
- Make sure all parts are there and in proper condition.
- T est the function of the movable parts.
LEG CONSTRUCTION
- T ake the leg construction out of the box.
- T ake the legs by the rubber end caps (1) and pull them apart.
- Push lower metal clip to the end (2) of the main tube.
UPHOLSTERED SEAT
- T ake the seat out of the box.
- Open the grey clamping lever (3) at the bottom side of the seat.
- Put the seat on to the extension rod (4). Sit down immediately
-on the seat (5) . This leads to a tight fit of the seat and the rod.
- Lock the grey clamping lever (6) again.

USER TIPS / FUNCTIONS
AFTER USE
- Dismantling is done in reverse sequence to setting up.
- Tip: First open gray clamping lever (12) then raise the upholstered seat by means of a rotary motion.
- It is recommended for transport and long-term storage to separate leg construction and upholstered seat and store them in their
-original boxes.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- During maintenance work, be aware of potential hazards (pinching, pain).
- It is recommended to use a slightly damp cloth and non-abrasive cleaner for cleaning.
FAULT-FINDING (F) and REPAIR (R)
F: Upholstered seat turns too easily or too heavily out of the extension rod: Pre-setting of the grey clamping lever is wrong:
R: By turning the screw attached, the clamping (13-14) effect may be corrected.
F: Height adjustment of the extension rod is heavy-going:
R: Possibly some debris or dirt is stuck between the tubes: clean carefully.
R: Pre-setting of the grey clamping lever is possibly too tight: correct by turning the screw (12) attached.
F: Tight leg construction:
R: Apply some silicon spray.

1. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
- Open grey clamping lever (7).
- Pull the pull-button (8) and
- adjust extension rod (9) to the desired height.
- Let pull-button (10) snap in the appropriate slot.
- Close grey clamping lever (7) again.
A. Spikes (Art.-no.14002) :
Replace the pre-mounted Allen screws (15) with the spikes.
WARNING: Negligent handling of the spikes might lead to major injuries;
in addition, the spikes (16) will cause imprints in the floor.
B. Tuning key holder (Art.-no.14001) :
Consists of plastic holder with snap catches, tuning key,
and Spax screws. To be attached to the bottom side of the seat (17).
Sufficient space also for a Sonor MK multi key.
C. 4 threaded screw sockets:
You will find them at the back of the bottom side of the seat.
Provided for a possible attachment of a "Buttkicker" ®.
The screw sockets are underneath the leather cover which, if needed,
must be cut open at the respective spots (18).
Attachment by use of 4 screws (M6 x 25 mm, i.e. M6 x 30 mm)
and matching U-discs.
3. SET ROTATION OF SEAT
Options: Rotation can be set from easy to stiff
- Open grey clamping lever (13).
- Loosen or tighten the screw attached (14)
-(within one full turn)
- Close grey clamping lever (13) again.
2. PRE-TIGHTEN GRIPPER CLAMP (11)
For the clamp to function efficiently, a certain amount of strength needs to be
applied when closing the clamping lever (7). If the clamping lever closes too
easily it should be re-adjusted:
METHOD:
- Open the clamping lever (7) and turn the Allen key (12) to tighten.
- Re-close the clamping lever and if still not tight, repeat the
-readjustment process.
AIM:
a. When the clamping lever is closed (11) the extension rod (9)
a. must be fixed and held in place by the gripper clamp.
b. When the clamping lever is open, the extension rod can be adjusted to the desired height.
