for safe operation of the device IS530.1 under the described conditions. Non-observance of this
information and instructions can have serious consequences and / or may violate regulations.
Please read the manual and these safety instructions before using the device. In case of any

FAULTS AND DAMAGES
If there is any reason to suspect that the safety of the device has been compromised, it must

be withdrawn from use and removed from any ex-hazardous areas immediately. Measures
must be taken to prevent any accidental restarting of the device. The safety of the device may
be compromised, if, for example:
Malfunctions occur.
The housing of the device shows damage.
The device has been subjected to excessive loads.
The device has been stored improperly.
Markings or labels on the device are illegible.
We recommend that a device displaying errors or in which an error is suspected be sent back

EX-RELEVANT SAFETY REGULATIONS
Use of this device assumes that the operator observes the conventional safety regulations and
has read and understood manual, safety instructions and certicate.
The following safety regulations must also be complied with:
Inside ex-hazardous areas the covers of all interfaces must be closed.
To ensure the IP-protection, it has to be ensured that all gaskets are present
and functional. There must be no large gap between the two halves of the housing.
The device may only be charged outside ex-hazardous areas using the i.safe PROTECTOR 2.0
or isafe PROTECTOR 3.0 USB-cable or other equipment approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH.
When using the IS-HS1.1 headset, the headset must be securely fastened to the ISM interface.
Physical connections to equipment other than the IS-HS1.1 headset are only allowed outside
ex-hazardous areas using the i.safe PROTECTOR 2.0 and i.safe PROTECTOR 3.0 USB-cable
or other equipment approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH.
The device may only be charged at ambient temperatures between +5°C ... +35°C.
The device may not be exposed to any aggressive acids or alkalis.
The device may only be used in zones 1, 2, 21, or 22.
Only accessories approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH may be used.
EX-RELEVANT SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR NORTH AMERICA
Conditions of Acceptability:
The battery shall only be charged outside the explosion hazardous areas only and using a
suitably certied Class 2 power supply with the following output parameters:
V = 5VDC I = 2000mA
The smartphone must be protected against excessive UV light emission and high electrostatic
processes.
The USB interface (type C) located at the bottom side is for data transmission and it is used
in non hazardous areas. It is not permitted to open the USB interface cover in hazardous
locations.
The ISM interface of the located at the right side can be used within hazardous areas IS530.1
with approved headsets, Remote Speaker Microphones(RSM) and add-ons.
For the ISM interface connection the intrinsically safe approved accessories must comply with
entity parameters according to document 1029AD04 i.e. Headset IS-HS1.1 is approved to be
used on ISM interface. If the ISM interface is not used, it must be securely closed by the cover
provided for this purpose.

Power o the device before installation. If you have installed two micro SIM cards, you can
choose your primary card in <Settings> <SIM cards>.

Do only change the SIM card when the device is switched o . Do not try to insert or remove
the SIM cards when any external power supply is connected.
CELL BROADCAST
The device supports cell broadcast.
INSTALLATION OF THE SD CARDmicro
The device features a microSD card slot (up to 128GB). This is located in the battery compart-
ment under the battery.
If you want to remove the microSD card, please make sure that the card is not in use by the
device. To remove the microSD card follow the instructions given in <Settings> <Storage>.
WARN I NG
Do only change the microSD card when the device is switched o . Do not try to insert or remove
the microSD card when any external power supply is connected, otherwise the microSD card
may be damage.
KEYS AND SPECIAL FEATURES (see illustration on page 2)
1 CONTROL LED: Control LEDs for charging and noti cation.
2 SOS BUTTON: Long press automatically selects an emergency number stored by you.
This function can only be used in conjunction with an optionally available LWP app.
3 POWER KEY: Long press to power ON/OFF the device. Short press to power ON/OFF
the standby mode.
4 CAMERA: Front camera.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
FACTORY RESET/ACTIVATE OEM MODE
If you have set up a GoogleTM Account, it is important to proceed with the following steps be-
fore you make a factory reset. This ensures that all private data will be deleted on the device:
<Settings> <About phone> tip seven times on <Build number> (to activate the de-
veloper mode) back to <Settings> <Developer options> <OEM unlocking> enable
<Backup & reset> enable back to <Settings> <Factory data reset>
If you do not enable the OEM unlocking, the device will always ask you to sign in with the
previously synced Google Account after the restart. In that case the device is unusable for
other user.
RECYCLING
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature, or packaging
reminds you that all electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators
must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life. This requirement
applies in the European Union. Do not dispose of these products as unsorted municipal
waste. Always return your used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials to de-
dicated collection points. This way you help prevent uncontrolled waste disposal and promote
the recycling of materials. More detailed information is available from the product retailer, local
waste authorities, national producer responsibility organisations, or your local i.safe MOBILE
GmbH representative.
Correct Disposal of this product. This marking indicates that this product should not be
dispose other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environ-
ment or human he from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and
collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take
this product for environmental safe recycling.

Maximum SAR values for this model and the conditions under which these were determined:

This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept
5 mm from the body. The device complies with RF specications when the device used at
5 mm from your body.
The product shall only be connected to a USB interface of version USB2.0.

FEHLER UND UNZULÄSSIGE BELASTUNGEN
Sobald zu befürchten ist, dass die Sicherheit des Gerätes beeinträchtigt wurde, muss das
Gerät außer Betrieb genommen und sofort aus explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen entfernt
werden. Die unbeabsichtigte Wiederinbetriebnahme muss verhindert werden. Die Gerätesi-
cherheit kann gefährdet sein, wenn z. B.:
Fehlfunktionen auftreten.
Am Gehäuse des Geräts Beschädigungen erkennbar sind.
Das Gerät übermäßigen Belastungen ausgesetzt wurde.
Das Gerät unsachgemäß gelagert wurde.
Beschriftungen auf dem Gerät nicht mehr lesbar sind.
Wir empfehlen ein Gerät, welches Fehler zeigt, oder bei dem Fehler vermutet werden, zu einer
Überprüfung an die i.safe MOBILE GmbH zurückzusenden.
EX-RELEVANTE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Die Benutzung des Geräts setzt beim Anwender die Beachtung der üblichen Sicherheitsvor-
schriften und das Lesen der Bedienungsanleitung, der Sicherheitshinweise und des Zertika-
tes voraus, um Fehlbedienungen am Gerät auszuschließen. Folgende Sicherheitsvorschriften
müssen zusätzlich beachtet werden:
Sämtliche Schnittstellenabdeckungen müssen bei Verwendung in Ex-Bereichen vollständig
geschlossen sein.
Um den IP-Schutz zu gewährleisten, ist sicherzustellen, dass alle Dichtungen am Gerät ord-
nungsgemäß vorhanden sind. Zwischen den beiden Gerätehälften darf kein größerer Spalt
erkennbar sein.
Das Gerät darf nur außerhalb explosionsgefährdeter Bereiche über das i. safe PROTECTOR
2.0 und i.safe PROTECTOR 3.0 USB-Kabel oder anderes von i.safe MOBILE GmbH freigege-
benes Zubehör geladen werden.
Wird das IS-HS1.1 Headset benutzt, muss sichergestellt sein, dass der Stecker sicher mit dem
ISM Interface verbunden ist.
Mit Ausnahme des IS-HS1.1 Headsets sind kabelgebundene Verbindungen nur außerhalb
explosionsgefährdeter Bereiche über das i.safe PROTECTOR 2.0 i.safe PROTECTOR 3.0 und
USB-Kabel oder anderes von i.safe MOBILE GmbH freigegebenes Zubehör erlaubt.
Das Gerät darf nur bei Umgebungstemperaturen zwischen +5°C ... +35°C geladen werden.
Das Gerät darf keinen aggressiven Säuren oder Basen ausgesetzt werden.
Das Gerät darf nur in die Zonen 1,2,21 oder 22 eingebracht werden.
Nur von i.safe MOBILE GmbH freigegebenes Zubehör darf verwendet werden.
EX-RELEVANTE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN FÜR NORD AMERIKA
Zulassungsbedingungen:
Der Akku darf nur außerhalb der explosionsgefährdeten Bereiche und mit einem entspre-
chend zertizierten Netzteil der Klasse 2 mit den folgenden Leistungsparametern geladen
werden: V = 5VDC I = 2000mA.
Das Gerät muss vor starker UV-Strahlung und elektrisch stark auadenden Prozessen
geschützt werden.
Die auf der Unterseite bendliche USB-Schnittstelle (Typ C) dient der Datenübertragung und
wird in nicht explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen eingesetzt. Die Abdeckung der USB-Schnitt-

stelle darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen geö net werden.
Die auf der rechten Seite be ndliche ISM-Schnittstelle des kann im Ex-Bereich mit IS530.1
zugelassenen Headsets, Remote Speaker Microphones (RSM) und anderen Erweiterungen
verwendet werden.
Für den Anschluss an der ISM-Schnittstelle muss das eigensichere Zubehör den entsprechen-
den Kenngrößen gemäß Dokument 1029AD04 entsprechen, d.h. das Headset IS-HS1.1 ist für
den Einsatz auf der ISM-Schnittstelle zugelassen. Wird die ISM-Schnittstelle nicht verwendet,
muss sie durch die dafür vorgesehene Abdeckung sicher verschlossen werden.
WEITERE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Berühren Sie das Display nicht mit scharfkantigen Gegenständen. Staub, Schmutz oder
Ihre Fingernägel können die Displayscheibe zerkratzen. Bitte halten Sie die Displayscheibe
sauber, indem Sie diese regelmäßig mit einem weichen Sto tuch reinigen.
Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen hohen Temperaturen aus, da dadurch der Akku überhitzen kann,
was zu Feuer oder im schlimmsten Fall zu einer Explosion führen kann.
Laden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren oder explosiven Substanzen.
Laden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Innenräumen.
Laden Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchter oder staubiger Umgebung.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten, wo das Benutzen verboten ist.
Setzen Sie das Gerät oder das Ladegerät keinen starken elektrischen Magnetfeldern aus, wie
sie z. B. von Induktionsherden oder Mikrowellenöfen ausgehen.
Ö nen Sie das Gerät nicht selbst und führen Sie auch keine Reparaturen selbst durch.
Unsachgemäße Reparaturen können zur Zerstörung des Geräts, zu Feuer oder zu einer
Explosion führen. Das Gerät darf nur von autorisierten Fachleuten repariert werden.
Schalten Sie das Gerät in Kliniken oder anderen medizinischen Einrichtungen aus. Dieses
Gerät kann die Funktion von medizinischen Geräten wie Herzschrittmachern oder Hörhilfen
beein ussen. Halten Sie immer einen Sicherheitsabstand von mindestens 15 cm zwischen
Gerät und einem Herzschrittmacher ein.
Achten Sie bei der Verwendung des Geräts während der Steuerung eines Kraftfahrzeuges
auf die entsprechenden Landesgesetze.
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und entfernen Sie das Ladekabel, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
Benutzen Sie keine chemischen Mittel zum Reinigen des Geräts oder des Ladegeräts.
Reinigen Sie die Geräte mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten antistatischen Sto tuch.
Akkus gehören NICHT in den Hausmüll. Als Verbraucher sind Sie dazu verp ichtet alte Akkus
zur fachgerechten Entsorgung zurückzugeben.
Für Schäden durch Computerviren, die beim Gebrauch der Internetfunktionen herunterge-
laden werden, ist der Benutzer selbst verantwortlich. Ein Regressanspruch gegenüber der
i.safe MOBILE GmbH besteht nicht.

La interfaz ISM en el lado derecho se puede utilizar en áreas peligrosas con auriculares IS530.1
aprobados, micrófonos de altavoces remotos (RSM) y otras extensiones.
Para la conexión a la interfaz ISM, los accesorios de seguridad intrínseca deben corresponder
a los parámetros correspondientes según el documento 1029AD04, es decir, los auriculares
IS-HS1.1 están homologados para su uso en la interfaz ISM. Si no se utiliza la interfaz ISM, ésta
debe cerrarse de forma segura con la tapa prevista a tal efecto.
OTRAS INDICACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
No toque la pantalla del dispositivo con objetos punzantes. Las partículas de polvo y los cla-
vos pueden rayar la pantalla. Mantenga limpia la pantalla. Utilice un paño suave con cuidado
para retirar el polvo de la pantalla y no raye la supercie.
No introduzca el dispositivo en entornos con temperaturas extremas porque la batería
podría recalentarse e incendiarse o explotar.
No cargue el dispositivo cerca de sustancias inamables o explosivas.
Cargue el dispositivo solo en espacios interiores secos.
No cargue el dispositivo en entornos húmedos o polvorientos.
No utilice el dispositivo en lugares en los que esté prohibido su uso.
No exponga el dispositivo o el cargador a ningún campo magnético intenso, p. ej. los prove-
nientes de hornos de inducción u hornos microondas.
No abra el dispositivo por sí solo ni tampoco realice reparaciones por sí mismo. Las reparaci-
ones incorrectas pueden provocar daños irreparables en el dispositivo,un incendio o incluso
una explosión. El dispositivo solo debe ser reparado por expertos autorizados.

Desconecte el dispositivo en hospitales u otros centros médicos. Este dispositivo puede in-
uir en el funcionamiento de dispositivos médicos como marcapasos o audífonos. Mantenga
siempre una distancia de seguridad de mínimo 15cm entre el dispositivo y un marcapasos.
En caso de que use el dispositivo mientras conduce un vehículo, respete la legislación
vigente que corresponda.
Desconecte el dispositivo y retire el cable de carga antes de limpiar el dispositivo.
No utilice productos químicos para la limpieza del dispositivo ni del cargador. Limpie el
dispositivo con una paño suave y antiestático humedecido.
Las baterías no están en la basura doméstica. Como consumidor, usted está obligado
a devolver las pilas usadas para su correcta eliminación.
El usuario será el único responsable de los daños y otras obligaciones que pudieran surgir de
la descarga de malware al utilizar la red u otras funciones de intercambio de datos del
dispositivo. i.safe MOBILE GmbH no se hace responsable de las reclamaciones que pudieran
derivarse de ello.

MANTENIMIENTO / REPARACIÓN

INSTALACIÓN DE LA TARJETA MICRO SIM
El dispositivo dispone de dos ranuras para una tarjeta micro SIM. Estas se encuentra bajo la
batería en el compartimento de la batería.
Apague el dispositivo antes de insertar las tarjetas SIM. Si tiene dos tarjetas micro SIM in-

OEMTILAN KÄYTTÖÖNOTTO

TM -käyttäjätilin perustamisen jälkeen on tärkeää suorittaa seuraavat toimenpiteet

Jos OEM-estoa ei poisteta, puhelin pyytää aina käynnistämisen yhteydessä kirjautumaan
aiemmin luodulle Google-käyttäjätilille. Silloin muut käyttäjät eivät voi käyttää sitä.
