4. The power cord must be closely plugged into the outlet. Do not plug into multi-sockets with
other appliances.
5. Keep the bottom part of inner pot and inner shell clean.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by person
responsible for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Keep curtains, furniture, and other îammable materials away from the Slow Cooker and
from the convenience outlet where the Slow Cooker is plugged.
9. a Do not place on or near gas or electric stove.
10. Do not allow cord to touch the hot surface of the Slow Cooker.
11. Do not loop the cord around the Slow Cooker after use.
12. Do not turn the unit ON without the inner pot.
13. Keep the Slow Cooker in a dry and cool place.

Service Center.

16. Do not touch the unit with bare hands while cooking.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:
HOW TO USE:
1. Place the unit on a îat stable surface.
2. Lift the glass cover.
3. Put the ingredients on the inner pot.
4. Wipe the side and bottom of the inner pot with a dry cloth.
5. Put the cover tightly.
6. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet.
7. This slow cooker has 3 settings.

8. For the 'Low' mode, press the button on the control panel once. For the 'High'
mode, press it twice. And for the 'Warm' mode, press it thrice. The pilot indicators under
the LED display will show what mode the unit is under. You can choose the 'Low' or 'High'
setting depending on the desired cooking time.
9. To pre-set the cooking time, press the button to your desired number of hours. You
can program cooking time from 30 minutes to 10 hours. Default cooking time for all settings
is 6 hours.
Auto Shut-Oî Feature
Once the pre-set time and setting for âLowâ and âHighâ is reached, the unit will turn to âWarmâ
setting. The heater will automatically shut-oî if not unplugged within 10 minutes.

PROGRAMMING THE COOKING TIME
1. Pressing the button once will show the default pre-set time of six (6) hours which
applies to all settings (LOW, HIGH and WARM).
2. Pre-set cooking time range is from one (1) hour to ten (10) hours. Just keep pressing the
button until the display shows your desired cooking time.
3. Every time the ISC-500D reaches a pre-set cooking time, it automatically goes to âWarmâ
setting,
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Wash the inner pot and its cover with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
2. To clean the main unit, wipe it with damp clot h until itâs dry.
CAUTION:
When cleaning, avoid using thinner, abrasives, and/or metal scrub brush. These may cause
discoloration or damage to the unit.
