IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit including
the power base in water or any other liquid.
12. Always ensure that the lid is closed and do not lift it while water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the boiling cycle.

15. This kettle is intended for boiling water only. Do not heat any other liquid

27. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE:
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended that you clean your
kettle before use, by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
1. To ll with water, pull up the lid handle. Fill the electric kettle with water
below the “MAX” water level mark.
NOTE: Do not exceed the MAX” water level mark indicated on the
electric kettle and make sure to close the lid. Otherwise, the kettle will
not shut OFF automatically.
2. Insert the power cord into the power socket of the kettle. Plug the electric
cord into an electric outlet. Turn the switch ON by pushing down on the
on/o switch. The indicator light will light to indicate that the unit is on. up
The water will heat and the electric kettle will switch o automatically when
the water boils.
NOTE: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and the lid
is firmly closed. The electric kettle will not turn o automatically if the
ON/OFF switch is constrained.
3. Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water.
4. The kettle will not re-boil until the on/o switch is switched ON after 25
seconds to allow the kettle to cool down, then it can be switch ON again. ed
Note: Maximum capacity of kettle is 1.5L.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet before cleaning.
2. The body of the kettle may be cleaned using a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
3. Wash the lter with soap and water.
4. Refer to the instruction below in cleaning the unit using the following:
Soap and Water
a. Combine soap and water. Pour into the Kettle up to the maximum level
for 1 hou r.
b. Discard the solution.
c. Fill the kettle with clean water up to “max” level and boil.
d. Repeat several times until the odor of the soap has been removed.
e. Rinse thoroughly.
Vinegar
a. Combine one part of vinegar and water. Pour into kettle up to the “max”
level Switch ON and wait for the unit to turn OFF.
b. Leave the solution inside the kettle for overnight.
c. Discard the solution. Fill the kettle with clean water up to “max level
and boil again.
d. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been removed.
e. Rinse the kettle thoroughly.
