CONGELAZIONE
La scatola termostato per il controllo dell’apparecchio è collocata
all’interno della cella frigo in alto a destra. Per essere certi che
l’apparecchio stia funzionando accertarsi che la manopola
termostato non sia sulla posizione “0“.
Disporre i cibi da congelare nei cassetti. All’inizio della congelazione, per non fare raffreddare eccessivamente il vano frigo, potrebbe essere
necessario arretrare di circa 1/2 numero la manopola del termostato, in funzione del carico e della temperatura ambiente. Alla fi ne della congelazione,
riportare la manopola del termostato sul valore abituale.
N.B. Per una miglior circolazione dell’aria, lasciare dello spazio tra gli alimenti ed evitare, per i modelli con tecnologia FROST FREE, di
ostruire le bocchette di raffreddamento.
SBRINAMENTO
Lo sbrinamento della cella frigo avviene automaticamente.
La presenza di un lieve strato di brina o di gocce d’acqua durante il funzionamento è da
considerarsi normale.
E’ importante mantenere sempre pulito il condotto di scarico ed evitare di porre i cibi a contatto
con la parete della cella.
Nel caso di un frigorifero con tecnologia FROST FREE il vano freezer non necessita di sbrina-
mento poiché questo prodotto è dotato di un sistema automatico che impedisce la formazione di
ghiaccio; per la versione senza tecnologia FROST FREE è consigliabile sbrinare manualmente
il prodotto quando lo strato di ghiaccio supera i 3mm. di spessore.
NB. All’interno della cella frigo è presente la targa matricola, contenente i dati da
comunicare all’Assistenza Tecnica qualora si verifi casse un guasto.
Importante: In presenza di temperatura ambiente molto calda, l’apparecchio potrebbe funzionare in continuo, con conseguente formazione
anomala di brina sulla parete di fondo della cella frigo. In questi casi è necessario ruotare la manopola frigo su numeri più bassi.
DRENAGGIO DELL’ACQUA
Nei frigoriferi senza tecnologia FROST FREE il congelatore è dotato di un sistema di evacuazione dell’acqua di sbrinamento.
Tale sistema è costituito da:
Una linguetta che deve essere estratta per consentire il fl usso dell’acqua.
Bacinella di raccolta acqua non in dotazione.
Nei frigoriferi con tecnologia FROST FREE il sistema di evacuazione dell’acqua di sbrinamento è automatico.
INVERSIONE DEL SENSO DI APERTURA DELLE PORTE
1) Si consiglia di sdraiare o inclinare di circa 45° il frigorifero, essendo necessario operare sulla parte inferiore dell’apparecchio per poter togliere
la cerniera inferiore.
2) Togliere la cerniera inferiore e le relative rondelle, agendo sulle viti.
3) Togliere la porta inferiore.
4A) FRIGORIFERI A PORTA ALTA, CON CRUSCOTTO NON A VISTA:
Nei modelli in cui il cruscotto non è visibile frontalmente a porta chiusa, togliere la chiusura della porta situata nella zona superiore all’interno
della porta, rimuovere la cerniera centrale, la porta superiore e la cerniera superiore. Asportare dal cruscotto la membrana di plastica pre-
sente sul lato sinistro. Montare la cerniera sul lato sinistro ruotandola di 180° invertendo il posizionamento del perno.
4B) FRIGORIFERI CON CRUSCOTTO A VISTA:
Nei modelli in cui il cruscotto è visibile frontalmente a porta chiusa, togliere la cerniera centrale, togliere la porta superiore, svitare il perno
della cerniera superiore destra e rimontarlo sulla cerniera sinistra.
5) Dove è impiegato il fermo porta togliere quello di destra agendo sulla vite. Dalla busta accessori prelevare il fermoporta di sinistra e fi ssarlo
con la vite tolta in precedenza.
6) Rimontare le porte operando in senso inverso, ricordandosi di rimontare anche le rondelle distanziatrici interposte tra porta e cerniera.
7) Qualora siano presenti le maniglie verticali spostarle dal lato sinistro al lato destro, agendo sulle viti corrispondenti.
8) Riportare l’apparecchio in posizione verticale e attendere 2 ore prima di rimetterlo in funzione.
N.B. Per ottenere un corretto allineamento delle porte è necessario agire sulla cerniera centrale.

CONTROLS
FREEZING
The thermostat which controls the temperature of the appliance
is located inside the fridge compartment on the top right. This
thermostat controls the temperature for both the fridge & freezer
compartments. To turn the appliance off, set the thermostat dial
to “0“.
When adding foods to the freezer the temperature of the appliance may be higher than that of the thermostat dial. In the event of this occurring
reduce the thermostat dial by 1 or 2 numbers to stop the fridge from becoming excessively cold. Once the freezing process is completed, return the
thermostat dial to the usual value (between 2 - 3).
N.B. For better air circulation, leave some room in between the foods and avoid blocking the cooling air outlets.
DEFROSTING
The freezer compartment on this appliance defrosts automatically.
A small amount of frost or drops of water on the back of the fridge compartment when the fridge
is working is normal.
Make sure the water outlet is always clean. Also make sure foods do NOT touch the back or
sides of the fridge compartment.
A fridge freezer with FROST FREE technology does not require the freezer section to be
defrosted because this product is equipped with an automatic system which prevents ice from
forming. For the fridge freezers without FROST FREE technology, we recommend you defrost
the freezer area when the layer of frost is more than 3 mm thick.
NB. This is the rating plate. If you need to contact our Service Department in the event of
any faults, remember to give them the information on the plate.
IMPORTANT: If the temperature of the room is warm, the appliance may work continuously and a layer of frost will deposit on the back of
the fridge compartment. In this case, turn the dial to lower settings.
DRAINING WATER
In Fridge Freezers without FROST FREE technology, the freezer has a system for draining water while defrosting.
This system comprises:
A drip tray which must be pulled out so water can fl ow into a basin.
A drainage basin (not supplied).
In Fridge Freezers with FROST FREE technology, the system for draining water while defrosting is automatic.
REVERSING THE OPENING OF THE DOORS
1) Place or tilt the appliance at a 45° angle, so you can access the underneath of the appliance.
2) To remove the bottom hinge unscrew the screws and remove along with the corresponding washers.
3) Remove the bottom door.
4A) FRIDGES WITH A HIGH DOOR, WITH HIDDEN CONTROL PANEL:
In appliances where the control panel is not visible from the front with the door closed, remove the door lock located on the top inside of the
door, remove the middle hinge, the top door and the top hinge. Remove the plastic insert located on the left from the control panel. Remount
the hinge on the left-hand side rotating it by 180° and reversing the position of the pin.
4B) FRIDGES WITH CONTROL PANEL IN FULL VIEW:
In models where the control panel is visible from the front with the door closed, remove the middle hinge, remove the top door, unscrew the
pin of the top right-hand side hinge and remount it on the left hand-side hinge.
5) Where a door stop is used, remove the right-hand side one by loosening the screw. Take the left-hand side door stop from the accessories kit
and secure it with the screw you had previously removed.
6) Remount the doors in reverse order, remembering to remount the spacing washers placed between the door and the hinge.
7) If the vertical handles are present, move them from the left to the right side, by loosening the corresponding screws.
8) Put the appliance in an upright position and wait two hours before turning it back on.
N.B. In order to obtain the correct alignment of the doors it is necessary to work on the middle hinge.
