• Cihaz uygun bir şekilde havalandırılmalıdır.

1- GİRİŞ

1.1 Uygulamalar:

PS-242 Endüstriyel ve Sivil Alanlarda kullanılabilen 24 W lık anahtarlama modlu güç

kaynağıdır. Panellerde montaj kolaylığı nedeniyle DIN kutu standartlarına uygun

olarak tasarlanmıştır.

1.2 Genel Özellikler:

• Geniş giriş gerilimi aralığı 85-265 VAC (50-60 Hz) / 110-350 VDC

• 24 VDC 1 ADC 24 W çıkış

• Durum gösterge ledi (yeşil)

• Yüksek verimli cihaz

1.3 Kullanım:

Şekil 1 de gösterilen cihazda 1 ve 2 numara ile gösterilen kısımlar PS-242’nin giriş

gerilim bağlantı yerleridir, bu noktalara beslemeyi bağlayınız. Şekil 1 de 3 ve 4 ile

gösterilen kısımlar PS-242’nin DC çıkış kısmıdır, bu noktalardan cihaz 24 VDC çıkış

vermektedir. PS-242 p1-ye besleme verildiğinde Şekil 1 de 5 numara ile gösterilen

yeşil led yanacaktır. Bu ledin yanması PS-242 ‘nin çalıştığını çıkış gerilimi ürettiğini

göstermektedir.

2 Bağlantı ve Montaj:

Tel Bağlantısı

•

AC Giriş (1,2): PS-242 nominal yükte en fazla 0.6 AAC, en az 0.25 AAC akım

çeker. Tel kalınlığı buna göre seçilmelidir. Giriş klemensine maksimum 14 AWG

bükülü tel (2.5mm ),12 AWG katı tel (4mm ) tel bağlanabilir

DC Çıkış (3,4): Çıkış akımı 1 ADC dir. Tel kalınlığı buna göre seçilmelidir.

Çıkış klemensine maksimum 14 AWG bükülü tel (2.5mm ) ,12 AWG katı tel

(4mm ) tel bağlanabilir

•

Standartlara uygunluk açısından 75°C de çalışabilecek uygun bakır

teller kullanınız.

Montaj (Şekil 2)

•

PS-242 EN50022 standartlarına uygun DIN raylara kolayca monte edilebilir.

•

Cihazı dik olarak monte ediniz. Cihaz monte edilirken DC çıkış kısmının

üst tarafa gelecek şekilde monte edilmesi tavsiye edilir.

•

Cihazın havalandırılmasına dikkat ederek monte ediniz. Monte edildikten

sonra PS-242 ile yanındaki cihazlar arasında 1’er cm boşluk bırakılması

önerilir.

3-Cihazın bağlanması ve çalışması

Giriş (1, 2 numaralı kısım)

• Şekil 3 de 1 ve 2 ile gösterilen kısım PS-242 nin Line (Hat) ve Neutral

(Nötr) besleme girişidir.

• 85-265 VAC giriş gerilimi, L(1) ve N (2) uçları kullanılarak bağlanabilir.

• 110-350 VDC giriş gerilimi L(1) ve N(2) uçları kullanılarak bağlanabilir.

• Cihazda dahili bir sigorta vardır, ! Cihazın sigortası sadece fabrikada

değiştirilebilir.

• Girişe ekstra “backup fuse” bağlanabilir.

• DC giriş gerilimi için uygun “backup fuse” bağlanmalıdır.

• Cihaz girişi alçak gerilime karşı korumalı yüksek gerilime karşı korumasızdır.

Çıkış (3.4 numaralı kısım)

• Şekil 3 de 3,4 ile gösterilen kısım PS-242 nin DC gerilim çıkışıdır.

• DC Çıkışın pozitif ve negatif kısımları 3 (+) ve 4 (-) ile gösterilmiştir.

• Çıkış gerilimi 24 VDC dir.

• Cihaz çıkışı kısa devreye karşı korumalıdır.

- Cihaz çıkışı kısa devre olduğunda cihaz tamamen kapanır ve kısa devre

durumu geçince kendiliğinden tekrar çalışır.

• Cihaz +55°C ortam sıcaklığına kadar çalışabilir.

PS-242 de led göstergesi bulunur. (Şekil 1 de 5 numaralı kısım)

• Enerji yokken : Led sönüktür.

• Normal çalışma modu : Led yanmaktadır.

• Kısa devre: Led sönüktür.

! ATTENTION

This user manual contains information necessary for the safe and correct operation

of the device. Before mounting the device, please read this user manual carefully and

pay attention to warnings.

Safety and Warnings

! ATTENTION Do not open the device under any circumstances. An opened device’s

warranty will become void.

! ATTENTION The device must be mounted only by qualied personnel with

necessary precautions against electric shock in place. Incorrect connection may

create dangerous result for people and environment.

Incorrect connection may result in permanent damage to the performance of the

device.

! ATTENTION The device warm up during operating.

• Before you energize the device or remove the device from mains, make sure that

the supply cable isn’t connected to mains.

• Supply input of the device must be connected according to EN60950 standards.

! A supply voltage greater than 265V AC may result in an explosion in the device

or in damages to the user.

• Device supply must be at a sucient power capacity and must comply with

security standards.

• Cables connected to the outputs of PS-242 must be suitable for the maximum

current that PS-242 can provide.

• After device connection is nished, connection points must be protected against

accidental contacts.

• Mounting of the device must be done vertically as shown in Figure-1, with AC

supply input at the bottom side and the DC output at the top side.

• The device must be properly ventilated.

1- Introduction

1.1 Applications :

PS-242 is a 24W switching mode power supply used in industrial and civil areas. It is

designed according to DIN box standards for ease of mounting on panels.

1.2 General Features :

• Wide input voltage range 85-265V AC (50-60 Hz) / 110-350V DC

• 24 VDC 1 ADC 24 W output power

• Status notication LED (green)

• High eciency device

• Short circuit, overload protection

• Thermal protection

• Class 2 device, no earth connection is necessary

• DIN3 case

• IP20 Protection class

• CE, EN60950,E N61204

1.3 Operation :

In the device shown in Figure 1, parts 1 and 2 are the input voltage connection point

of PS-242, connect the supply to these points.

PS-242 Sections 3 and 4 in Figure 1 are the DC output portion of the PS-242. From

these points, the device gives 24 VDC output. When the PS-242 is powered, the

green LED 5 number in gure will light up. When this led is lit, it indicates that PS-242

is working and producing output voltage.

2- Connection and Mounting

Wire Connection

• AC Input (1,2): Under nominal load, PS-242 draws maximum 0.6AAC and

minimum 0.425A AC. Wire thickness must be selected according to these values.

Maximum 14 AWG stranded wire (2.5 mm2 ) or 12 AWG solid wire

(4 mm2) can be connected to the input terminal.

• DC output (3, 4): Output current is 1A DC. Wire thickness must be selected

according to this value. Maximum 14 AWG stranded wire (2.5 mm 2) or 12 AWG solid

wire (4 mm2) can be connected to the output terminal.

• In terms of complying with standards, use copper wires that can operate at 75 oC.

Mounting (Figure 2)

• PS-242 can be mounted on DIN rails which comply with EN50022 standards.

• Mount the device vertically. When mounting the device, it is recommended that

the DC output side stays on top side.

• Mind the device’s ventilation when mounting the device. After the mounting, it

is recommended to leave a 1 cm space between PS-242 and devices next to it.

3- Device connection and operation

Input (section 1,2)

• The part which are numbered as 1 and 2 shown in Figure-3 are the Line and

Neutral supply inputs of PS-242.

• 85-265 VAC input voltage can be connected by using the L and N terminals.

• 110-350V DC input voltage can be connected by using the L and N terminals.

• The device has a internal fuse.

!The fuse of the device can only be changed at the factory.

• Extra backup fuse can be connected to the input.

• Appropriate backup fuse must be connected for DC input voltage.

• The device input is protected against low voltage, it is not protected against

high voltage.

Output (section 3,4)

•

The part which are numbered as 3 and 4 in Figure-3 are the DC voltage output of PS-242.

• Positive and negative parts of the output voltage are shown with 3 (+) and 4 (-).

• Output voltage is 24 VDC.

• Device output is protected against short circuit.

• When the output is shorted circuited, device turns o completely and turns on

again after the short circuit condition is resolved.

• The device can operate up to an ambient temperature of +55 °C.

PS-242 has LED indicator (section 5 in Figure-1)

• When there’s no energy : LED is o.

• Normal operation mode : LED is on.

• Short circuit : LED is o.
