EZ Hotspot Extender
Remove the rear bottom panel.
Type ezhotspot.eu in your browser.
Please select a Hotspot with 40% or more signal quality where
possible to ensure a good and stable connection. Select the SSID of
the hotspot and click on ‘Join Network’.
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable (not supplied) to the LAN
(PoE) port on the EZ Hotspot Extender. The LAN (PoE) port can be
founded on the right-hand side as seen from the back of the device.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the PoE injector’s
PoE port. Connect the Power Adapter DC inlet to the 24V DC IN of
the PoE Injector and the power adapter to an electrical outlet. The
device is ready for conguring when the two LEDs (Power and
Wireless) are lit and the green LED stops blinking. This may take
about 30 seconds.
Both user name and password are root.
Scan for Hotspots.
Check the details and choose ‘Submit’. Do the same on the next
page, change the encryption if you prefer and choose ‘Save &
Apply’.
Go to your network center, view the SSIDs (network names) and
select EnGenius-ezhotspot.euXXXXXX. You can nd this address at
the back of your product.
When connecting to Wispots of UPC and Ziggo, the encryption must
be adjusted. The steps you need to perform themselves are indicated,
you only need to click.
Note! Auto recovery: When extender cannot connect due to insufcient
range or incorrectly credentials such as encryption key (if any), a SSID
broadcasting “EnGenius-CannotJoinOrNotSetup” will appear. Kindly
retry again.

EZ Hotspot Extender
Scan voor Hotspots.
Verwijder het onderste paneel op de achterzijde.
Typ ezhotspot.eu in uw browser.
Selecteer een Hotspot met een signaalkwaliteit van 40% of hoger
om een stabiele internet connectie te verzekeren. Selecteer het SSID
van de hotspot en klik op ‘Join Network’.
Verbind één einde van de Ethernet kabel (niet bijgeleverd) met de
LAN (PoE)-poort van de EZ Hotspot Extender. De LAN (PoE)-poort
bevindt zich rechts op de achterzijde van het product.
Verbind het andere einde van de Ethernet kabel in de PoE-poort
van de PoE Injector. Verbind de stroomadapter DC inlet met de
24V DC IN van de PoE Injector en stop de stroomadapter in een
stopcontact. Het product is klaar om te congureren wanneer de
twee LEDs (Power en Wireless) aan staan en het groene LED stopt
met knipperen. Dit kan ongeveer 30 seconden duren.
Zowel uw gebruikersnaam als het wachtwoord is root.
Controleer de details, en kies ‘Submit’. Doe hetzelfde op de
volgende pagina, verander eventueel de encryptie-methode en
kies bij akkoord ‘Save & Apply’.
Ga naar het netwerkcentrum, bekijk de SSIDs (netwerknamen) en
kies ezhotspot_( EnGenius-ezhotspot.euXXXXXX). U vindt dit adres
op de achterzijde van uw product.
Bij het verbinden van de Wispots van UPC & Ziggo moet de encryptie
worden aangepast. De stappen die u moet uitvoeren staan aangegeven,
u hoeft alleen te klikken.
Opmerking! Auto recovery: Wanneer de extender geen verbinding
kan maken vanwege onvoldoende bereik of in verband met foutieve
gegevens (zoals bijvoorbeeld het wachtwoord), verschijnt er een
SSID in uw netwerkcentrum met de netwerknaam
“EnGenius-CannotJoinOrNotSetup”. Probeer de Hotspot opnieuw
te verbinden.
