Make the necessary connections as called out in the diagram below. Connect power last.
Hardware Hookup
NOTE: SPEAKER OUTPUTS For triple the power (into 8 speakers only), Ω 1
and 2 or 3 and 4 can be bridged. For example, the left SPEAKER OUTPUTS
speaker’s + and - terminals are connected to the two + terminals of output #1
and the right speaker’s + and - terminals are connected to the two + terminals
of output #2. Refer to the diagram to the right.
To adjust volume when bridged, select 1 for 1 ROOM SPEAKER OUTPUTS
and 2 or select 2 for 3 and 4.ROOM SPEAKER OUTPUTS

NOTE: The C2NI-AMP-4X100 (International
version) requires a power cord that is
harmonized to the country’s national and local
electrical codes. Each inner wire in the cord
should be at least 18 AWG (0.75 mm
2) and rated
for at least 300 V. The temperature rating of the
cord should be at least 60Âş C. The cord length
should be 1.5 - 2 meters.

2Attach the Labels
Use the included labels and inserts to prepare the C2N(I)-AMP-4X100:
1. Locate the and label inserts included with the unit ( insert has space for six labels, insert has room for four labels).SOURCE ROOM SOURCE ROOM
2. Apply the peel-and-stick labels in the appropriate positions on the inserts, being careful to match label positions to what is configured in the programming software. For neatest appearance, when applying a label,
cover the white guidelines on the insert. First and last labels cover one line each; labels in between cover lines on their left and right sides.

The port on the C2N(I)-AMP-4X100 connects to the control system via Cresnet:NET
1. In Crestron Toolbox, click Tools System Info| .
2. Click the icon.
3. For Connection Type Cresnet ID Through , select . In the drop-down menu, select
the control system that is connected to the device.
4. Click OK. Communications are confirmed when the device information is
displayed.

The Net ID of the C2N(I)-AMP-4X100 has been factory set to . The Net IDs of 33
multiple C2N(I)-AMP-4X100 devices in the same system must be unique. Net IDs are
changed from a personal computer (PC) via Crestron Toolbox (refer to “Establish
Communication” in section π).

Turn the Amplifier On or Off
To turn the amplifier on, move the front panel switch to the position.ON
To turn the amplifier off, move the front panel switch to the position.OFF
Select a Source
To select a source for distribution, press the desired button. If a room is connected to the selected source, SOURCE
its LED lights.
NOTE: If a room is in Volume Control mode, press a button to exit the mode.SOURCE
Select a Room
Once a source is selected, press any button that is to receive the selected source. The room is connected to ROOM
the selected source and its LED lights.
To remove a room from the selected source, press the button of a connected room. The LED turns off.ROOM
NOTE: If a room is in Volume Control mode, press a button to exit the mode.ROOM
NOTE: ROOM 1 ROOM 2 If the outputs of the C2N(I)-AMP-4X100 are bridged, the button acts in unison with the
button and the button acts in unison with the button. Similarly, the LED acts in unison ROOM 3 ROOM 4 ROOM 1
with the LED and the LED acts in unison with the LED.ROOM 2 ROOM 3 ROOM 4
Volume Control Mode
The volume level of a connected room can be controlled when the room is in Volume Control mode. To switch to
Volume Control mode:
1. Press and hold the button of the room to be controlled for 2 seconds.ROOM
• Press j k or to change the volume in 1 dB increments.
• Hold j k or for more than 1 second, to ramp the volume up or down in 1 dB/0.1 second
increments.
If the maximum volume or minimum volume is reached, all of the front panel LEDs blink three times.
2. Press the button again to exit ROOM Volume Control mode.
If j k or is not pressed for 10 seconds, the amplifier automatically exits Volume Control mode.
